Poor and middle class are getting cancer treatment from here. I think best place cancer treatment in Bangladesh. But there is so much corruption and irregularities. Many staffs are being corrupted. Because of much uneducated patients, the stuffs are getting the opportunities of corruption. The Hospital also unhygienic. The toilets are in the lowest position.

If you need urgent X-ray report, personnel may ask for 200 BDT(though it is a free of charge service). Heard of some people who are living there for a long time though don’t have any disease. Patients aren’t allowed to go outside. Heard about some doctors who cover the floor very fast & give injection quickly even patient is sleeping.Saw No restrictions about time of visiting patients.Service should be improved.

The quality of NTP continues to improve. The program is maintaining high treatment success rates from the beginning and met the target of 85 % treatment success since 2003. The program has successfully treated 92% of the new smear-positive cases registered in 2006 and has detected 72% of the estimated new smear-positive cases in 2007.The Government of Bangladesh, together with its many and diverse partners from the public and private sectors, is committed to further intensify the DOTS program in order to sustain the achieved success and to reach the TB control targets linked to the Millennium Development Goals
