However it doesnt mean it doesnt provide good services.. It is specifically designed for cancer treatment, radiotherapy.. But other general treatments are also done here.. Came here for a vocal cord medical test.. Highly recommend this one.. Serving people better in terms of Healthcare..

One of the largest cancer hospitals in the country. It has state of the art radiation facilities along with modern diagnostic machines like CT, MRI, Bone scan. This is an academic hospital with BCPS recognised postgraduate training. Recently they have started tumour board and cancer registration and planning to start postgraduate course in medical and radiation Oncology. AMCGH also has internal medicine, general surgery, ENT, Opthalmology, pediatrics, gynaecology & obstetrics department. Moreover, this Healthcare institution also houses prof M.A. Hai cancer registration and research center generating important epidemiological and clinical research data. Recently the hospital has received the government permission to increase the bed capacity from 250 to 300. In addition to this the organisation has acquired government approval to start a medical college and this will surely improve overall service quality and academic standard. Totally commercial and nonprofessional hospital. Doctors as well as employees are irresponsible. Today I experienced very bad experience from the employee and doctor of this hospital. This is nothing but a profit making organization. No patient service at all. I took receipt of appointment to show my fathers test reports to Prof. Dr. A. M. M. Shariful Alam and waiting for his call; we have found that half dozen medical representative meet him one after another & after that he left hospital without calling us. We asked a person (doctors assistant) that doctor has left office without seeing our file, after that he told that our file is still in the room of history writing and found it without doing any tasks.After that the assistant person took us to another doctor Prof. Dr. Ahsan Shamim to see our file. I dont want to mention here what the rubbish behavior he did with us. What a rubbish and beast person.Actually, this hospital is not providing services, rather sucking blood of people and making profit. Their only moto is to earn money. Please dont donate to them, because benefit of your donation will not go to the people.

Hi, I would like to say, the doctors and the care staff are amazing at Ahsania Cancer hospital COVID 19- UNIT. Recently, my father was diagnosed with COVID 19 and he was at hospital almost 15 days ( in ICU). Though he deceased due to severity of his COVID-19, but i must say- all of the doctors particularly Dr Alim and his team did wonderful job by caring and treating my father with their best effort. I had concept that BD private hospital is money making business however this concept has changed once i have noticed the care and the cost we have received from Ahsania Mission Cancer and General Hospital. I would say all of future patient and their family members, kindly be nice with the Dr and their team as they are the one who are trying their best to save our beloved one indeed, while the Pandemic is still on going by taking their own life risk. Customer as well as Patient cares are really questionable! The Customer Care Supervisor Mr. Shahjahan, room#125 doesnt know how to care and satisfy his customer!More concerning matter is, Doctors didnt keep any history of the patient! All prescriptions are hand written thus doctors spending much time for each review. Doctors are depending on juniors. Juniors are missing back history! Doctor again trying to find and insulting jounior infront of patients! This all dramas are happening in patients presence which makes us so scarry!Few tests i.e. ECG, ECHO are not available because specific doctors got infected due to Covid-19. We had to go outside for those test and faced lots of hessel. That so called Customer Care Supervisor Mr. Shahjahan dont had any solution even he never learned to show sympathy to the patient and how to respond!Overall situation not up to the mark and its time to escalate in next level for reassess overall service from expectations point of view.
