If you want to call Anwar Khan Modern Hospital between 10 am and 10:30 am to see a doctor, you have to give a serial. When you call, the maximum time is seen busy and waiting.They sit down to serve us but their phones are found switched off and phone busy too much. Its ridiculous and annoying and very painful for us so I dont support this hospital in any way.Its simply faltu system.Advice:Increase the customer service. Its a nice hospital.They have 3 building.there Covid Unit is fully separate. There service is too much good.There is a Emergency Unit Which is open 24 hours.There is a MEDICALE COLLEGE. The only reason you’ll be here are few of the doctors, not at all because of the hospital.The hospital is severely understaffed. There is one ward boy per floor and is always somewhere else. Majority of the nurses are excruciatingly slow at their work and exhibit heavy attitude. You just don’t won’t want to be here with these inhospitable staff.The duty doctors are good. I’ll give them that.Old residential buildings were converted into making this hospital and it shows. That fact that the name of the hospital being “Modern” is quite ironic. The bathrooms have very old fittings that half of the time won’t work. The oxygen infrastructure is very poor at best. It keeps rising up and down all day and jumps up to dangerously high and low levels all the time. This is a prime example of how standards of healthcare in this country goes largely unmonitored.Even though the hospital service is lower mediocre at best, it’s one of the most expensive options in dhanmondi. Mind you, this hospital has great physicians, but that’s where the great part sadly ends.This organization is great at being a collection of doctors chamber and a diagnostic Center. You consider it as a hospital and it falls down the abyss.

The doctors are highly experienced, medical staffs are well-trained, their management is smart and customer friendly, and the overall quality and service is A class.My father had a knee operation and fo that purpose we had to stay for a week in this hospital. The cabins are well-equipped, clean, and duty nurse/doctors are well-mannered. They tried their level best to help us with our queries.Id like to mention two issues though, the car parking and overall diagnosis cost - one is messy another is expensive compared to the similar level of hospitals.However, from Dhakas perspective, its a 5-star from me.

Dirty, outside looking good but inside cabin horrible, small size room. no hot water facilities at block E, 5th floor. My mother is admitted here in Cabin, morning time request for hot water for her bath. Nurse said they can not provide hot water. lack of maintenance is showing everywhere. Cafeteria staff dont wear uniform, serving food without gloves. Nurse are touching patients without gloves. Housekeeping staff are without uniform.

Sharing a very unsatisfactory experience with Prof. Md. Nazrul Islam, Chairman, department of Rheumatology, BSMMU. Im positive with hla b*27 also done several tests in BSMMU by the recommendation from a doctor of BSMMU rheumatologist dept. So basically my problem already been identified by the doctors. But I couldnt maintain their outdoor patient visiting time as I live far from dhaka, so decided to see prof Dr. Md Nazrul Islam who is apparently Chairman of Rheumatology dept. in the same hospital but give his consultation in Anwer Khan Modern hospital. It was yesterday I explained all my problems to him he gave me same tests again which just been done from BSMMU about a week ago. I told his assistant to check if I missed any of the tests that recommended by the doctor then she checked and said the tests are 12 days old so I should do it again!! I told her that plz let me talk to doctor cause these tests are very costly why do I have to do them again when they are valid? I wonder how a famious prof. Doctor who belongs to BSMMU hospital Literally saying every other hospitals diagonis are not valid to him accept Anwar medical. Even he looked at me utterly & said take your money & leave!! He refuse to give me treatment. I have complained to the hospital authority yet no satisfactory outcome. Shame we are living in a societiy where so called big doctors are busy making moeny only. Such disgraceful act by a doctor who mean to save peoples life. These doctors who forgets their duties are patronised by these private medicals. The place is too much crowded, their ac does not work. Doctors stuff behavior is not good at all, this was our second visit to Dr monisha, her behavior was so furious that we couldnt ask her anything. Her ps does not receive calls for appointments he cuts the call or does not receive after trying hard for hour we could manage appointments. The doctor was late 2 hours and we had to stand and seat in scorching heat with so many patients standing some are sitting. Their canteen in the ground floor does not have snacks to eat. I need to go out to have some decent snacks. As usual their pharmacy was so crowded that buying medicines was a nightmare. I decided not to visit again. Dirty toilets.

Looks good outside. Decorations are nice but as a hospital it has the worst service and they will cut your throat with bill. They charge you like high amenity hospitals like Square or Apollo on the contrary facilities they provide are like village hospitals. Their intend are more medical school oriented rather a hospital. Staff behavior is careless as if you are in a government hospital. Doctors visit schedule is unpredictable and unnecessarily hospital stay is forced to increase your bill. In a word in my opinion this is one of the worst hospitals compared to other in this locality.

It’s a very cooperative and so much helpful hospital.

Location is good. I usually go there for Pediatrician for my kid. Other doctors are also quite experienced as I heard. Have outpatient, general ward and AC cabin facilities. Hospital is quite neat and clean. Staff are quite good. Have various diagnosis facilities of its own. Have its own ambulance, cafeteria and pharmacy.

It is a very good hospital in the Dhaka city. A team very good doctors provide services to the patients. The place remains crowded most of the time. There is space constraint, but all services they provide are excellent. Located in between Dhanmondi and Kalabagan, it is a hospital that I recommend.

Some of the receptionists are so arrogant!! They dont know how to talk to people!! I called one of them for appointment!! But she cut the phone call suddenly without ending our conversation!! Last but not the least i have to call multiple days for an appointment !! The receptionist were saying call tomorrow, i called but she again said tomorrow and cut the phone!!But the service of doctors are good. Well known hospital Dhanmondi Area. Treatment quality is very good. Environment is very clean and fresh. High-security system. Treatment cost is average. A little bit higher than the average quality hospitals. Stuffs are very caring and friendly.
