I ordered Manchurian and it came in a small bowl. 5 balls of Manchurian for £4.25! I was fine with it but then as tasted it; I was just tasting salt to be honest. No indo Chinese taste in manchurian gravy.Ok understood the food is not great. But then service from the staff! Not what you expect from a 4.3 star rated restaurant. Not quick, no smile on the face, no care about any complaints.Thank you but I won’t come again and I would suggest others not to try here getting attracted by the cheaper price on their menu ! Even if you’re spending £1, you’ll feel cheated if you care about food and service. (Which is most important in restaurant industry!)
Food is fantastic and freshly made! We have tried here couple of times both dine-in and take away where the food was almost piping hot. The owner was very cheerful and ensured the customers left the place satisfied. The wait times may be a bit longer if the place is bustling with folks but otherwise I found the service to be fairly decent. The prices are so very economical and I can’t believe that offer such delicious food for those prices. Definitely a must visit if one is around the area.
By far the best place for very good Indian food. For the price is very good and also the taste of the food is very good. If you are looking to get something cheap and good food for big family or group this is the place. I would recommend to call 2 hour earlier if it at evening as they are very busy and popular.
Lovely food. Have tried both take away and eat in. Dosa is best when you eat in as it comes out hot and crispy. Take away is okay too if you eat it straight away. There is a wide range of dosa fillings available. Some are extra hot and some are mild. Worth trying everything. Loved the chaat and masala cheese dosa. The daar is also really good. Cheaper than usual South Indian restaurants and tasty food.
I tasted the food and it was great. But the service is a bit too long. Thats why I have given a 4 star rating.
They have some of the best varieties in Dosa. Food was delicious and very economical too. Am a happy customer 🙂
We had to wait for our order for an hour. Even people who came after us got their orders. Eventually what arrived wasnt eatable. It was made so spicy ( we are from India and we do eat spicy food but there is a difference between spicy and you just cant eat this spicy). Had to return and they didnt charge us for that. But a waste of an hour.Kids ordered dosa and milkshake and they loved it. Hence the 2 stars.
The food is absolutely fantastic, the servers or the waiters are also good, i made an african friend over there, he was fantastic, he interacted very good with us helped us get our food. The restaurant was busy on Saturday when we went, he was running up and down to sort the customers out with table. Waiting time is long, but if you want good food which is tasty i prefer you all to wait for it.
Ordered samosa chaat which was nice but the chutneys need to be less watery. Dosas were excellent. Very tasty food and will definitely be recommending to others. Good value for money. Service is a bit slow.
20th February 2021:Found this amazing restraunt in Wembley near Ealing road. If you are in hunt for Indian food, dont miss this one.We tried their £2 Masala Dosa for takeaway and it was the BEST!Delicious dosa and chutney. Amazing value for money. Highly popular. You might have to wait a bit for your order. Also tried their Punjabi samosa, which was surprisingly delicious. 2 samosas for £1. It cant get any better.THIS IS A MUST TRY!
Reasonable price good taste and good quality and nice portionRegular customer
The food is utterly delicious and so reasonably priced! I happened to visit here on Saturday and the wait was a bit long. However, the staff was friendly and kept a smile on their face even in super busy times. What a treat! I will visit again surely!
Over all experience is verry good, staff was verry cooperative but need to update there menu. confusion between butter dosa( comes with butter and plain dosa)-butter masala dosa, chees dosa(comes with chees and plain dosa)-chess masala dosa ext. butter dosa should be butter plain dosa, chees dosa should be chees plain dosa. one day i ordered a butter masala dosa by mistake they wrote butter dosa(butter and plain dosa) then i had just plain dosa with butter only
We ordered a bunch of indo Chinese dishes. All were tasty just that paneer in chilli paneer was bit dry (seemed like over fried). All other indo Chinese were great and love the pani puri
Taste of food is good but lack of hygiene at place, on very first visit found hair in food. Also waiting time for table and then food was around 45 minutes.Hope they improve in future.
Variety of dosa! Very very nice palce
The place is very customer centric for sure. Quality of food is excellent and priced appropriate without burning your pocket.I was quite impressed with the way the owner was concerned about customers even while he was having his food, and made sure that the staff looks after the customers.
Excellent South Indian food in London. Its taste like Indian food. But the food serving was poor.
Large number of varieties of Dosas available.Value for money.Doesnt look like a Restaurant but an eating joint, but the prices justify everything.
I was very happy with the food, very tasty and delicious, long ques for waiting, but if you want the great taste of south india you should wait for it. I was sad i waited for 70 minutes but then after i was happy once the food got into the stomach. The waiter who was taking the waiting list was very humble and he knew what he was doing, apart from him doing the table for waiting he was also serving and cleaning the tables. Some of the customers were happy and some were not because delay in food coming to the table. I got his name i thinks its Sahil very good humble and being sorry no matter what. I would rate 5 star but the delays made me rate 4 stars. Would surely come again.
Authentic south Indian taste with very competitive prices and very quick and loving staff.....would definitely recommend this place to try once if you are around.
Really really great service, amazing food n taste. Requested extra spicy and I bet it was really nice n spicy Dosa. Daal vada was so fresh, soft n tasted really amazing. Much better than their next door big chain. Service was A1 n top of the class, extra chutney given without any questions, very understanding, listening n helpful staff. Safe, clean n tidy place. Very reasonable n realistic price , everyone can afford it and doesnt cost your pocket a lot. We dont live near by n came from Hampshire but this is going to be our next dosa place. We are keen to try other dosa n indo-chinese menu too. Thanks for amazing food n wonderful time. Regards. Uday
This place was amazing. Food was immaculate, the best food I have had since India
Rubbish services and food was a tasteless staff are very rude. Not recommended
Good value for money when you consider the range and taste is awesome. If dining in, Ill suggest to sit upstairs. Downstairs can be very crowded in peak hours
Best dosa in town! Would recommend trying the family dosa, its probably 5foot long and enough for 3-4 people!
No one attended me and i left from where i come horrible and staff was working on customer quota basis
Food was nice..chutneys and sambhar couldve been better...not the sarvanabhavan standard.Prices were better though hence giving 4star
Amazing food, mysore Dosa was superFirst time ExperiencedExcellent Staff
Foods not that bad but area is a bit dogey Because we went in it was full bit there was a down stairs and there was a smell and we thought oh what the hell we will go down so we went down and we got. Food and it was ok then my sister and family friend started to feel Ill ill the way back and she got food poisoning so I dont recommend it to anyone and this is why its a two star review
Brilliant food, feels like you are in india! Friendly staff. Overall exceptional experience. The only drawback being the poor hygiene.
Affordably priced buzzing restaurant. Got to wait quite a while if unlucky to get a seat especially for a family of 5-6. Lots of variety on the menu
The food was very good but the wait time is toooooooo long , by the time you get the food you will no longer be hungry . We saw couple of people leaving without having food as they were waiting for all most 40 minutes to get there order . The name states as express but its opposite to express ..... extremely slow.
Value for money..tasty food and quick service
Authentic Indian food at very reasonable prices. Staff are very friendly, efficient and helpful. They even serve Pani puri outside like a a little street stall. Only problem is, at peak times, they are extremely busy. So, order ahead, give them a call and enquire about the estimated wait for your order if getting a takeaway.
Very nice food Dosa was yummy 😋 will go again 👍
For the price great dosa, good overall
Small place with some 15-20 tables. Huge menu with dosas of every combination. Our group was trying to figure out whether its South Indian or North Indian style, and concluded that its fusion. Mysore masala dosa was very nice, masala dosa was decent. Baby corn manchurian was tasty. Chola poori was nice too. Pav bhaji had burger bread, and bhaji was tasty but not the usual bhaji taste. All food had extra oil. Masala tea was better than Sarvana bhavans tea. Overall, a good place for dosa.
Good fresh food, Bombay street food dishes are very good.
Very good food amazing staff 😊😊
Nice place, no ambiance but good food
Good testy worth for money highly recommended
Good value and clean place
Absolute joke. Went there with 4 kids and 4 adults.Firstly got put in the cellar down some very dirty steps where we were joined by some spiders for dinner over our table.Hygiene does not exsist in this place i agree with other reviews.Placed order got told 45 mins. Server asked do we want all the food together we said yes.Anyway 1 hr passed no food.In which time 2 other diners came and ate and went.Chased food then we got 2 out of 10 items then one every 10 mins. Then cheekly we got our bill before we even got all our orderAfter 1 hour and 30 mins we gave up after not receiving 2 items.Asked to speak to a manager twice got shrugged off.Went upstairs to pay guy at counter very rude all he was interested was the payment.Asked to speak to manager he started laughing at which point i gave up.Never have i seen such rude people never would i dine there againIf u have young children stay away even if they giving the food away.
Really good Indian food at a very reasonable price
Best dosa, very reasonable price. Service can be improved
I love this place quick lunch snack or meal which ever it is it always is so satisfying 🤪😋😋😋👩🍳👩🍳👏👏
Having been coming to this restaurant for a couple of years when it was in an adjacent location for take aways. Came today to the new restaurant and everything was fantastic as always. I think for the combination of price and ambience and for an authentic South Indian experience there should be nothing to complain about and everything to praise.Congratulations to the management and well done for keeping prices low, quality high and not succumbing to the temptation of raising prices universally as a result of participation in Deliveroo and the like.
The best dosa I have ever had in whole of UK!
Warning : UNHYGIENIC, UNPROFESSIONALAfter one hour of wait, the waiter came up with a excuse that we cant serve you the one we have ordered cos they ran out of schezwan sauce, instead the female waitress have wrongly served our order to the next table and it was the correct reason of not delivering the food on time. .Staff is very unprofessional, the place is very unhygienic & the worse service ever.
Good food but have to wait long
Love it! Food is delicious and the consistency is amazing.
I used to eat when I am in Wembley but last couple of time I am not satish fide for the food, service is nice but test of the food (dosa)is not good as before
Wonderfull staff, so polite and calm. Got solutions to all my needs. But do something about your bhaji man.. it isnt taste like bhaji or even look like. Peace ✌
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE- the manager who is an Indian lady was very rude and didn’t want to own up to not being able to cope when they were busy ! Saying sorry we are busy is not good enough ! Seriously need a better system to cope ! Food took way to long and refused to allow to have food collected as it had been placed with Uber eats for delivery she was more worried about the driver then the customer who has ordered the food... TERRIBLE
My favourite place in all of London for South Indian food. Its a must try.
Good food ☺️ I love it❤️❤️❤️
Hello ! I am not happy at all I order food on uber eats....just see they give Manchuriyan very small porstion. Take more money.. For food I have to wait more than one hour.
Kids had the Paneer dosa. Wife had the chilli Paneer dosa and I had the schezwan paneer dosa. Came out fast, very tasty. Pani puris were filled with pani, and tasted superb. The fresh juices were good but they came out 20 mins later when we had almost finished. Still, all in all we enjoyed the dosas!
Taste is good always and very reasonable price.
Great veg options available, very good service and staff. We went on a weekend and it was bit crowded in afternoon , but for 2 person we got the table immediately. The dosa and other items we ordered took arround 10 mins to come, but the taste was fresh & delicious and worth for money we spent, however they need to improve on Sambhar & chutney... just 5 mins walking distance from wembley train station.
Nice dishes but too much waiting time
Changed rating from 5 to 2.Reasons ;Service has gone badWaiting time has dramatically increasedStaff isnt that welcoming as they used to beCleanliness has taken a toll
The dosa are anything but express. Waited for ages for my order . Service awful as I think the place is understaffed. Dosas are average. Lots of other dosa places in Wembley. Might pay a bit more but better quality elsewhere.
Probably the most value for money Dhosa in the country if not London
The customer service is poor, we sat there waiting for our order to arrive and the lady came and told us they it was time for them to close and if we would like to order anything, little did she know that we gave an order before 1 hour and 15 minutes , and the dosa never arrived despite reminding them many times. After an 1 hour and 15 minutes the dosa arrived but the parrota did not come, clearly the guy who took the order did not bother I guess .And finally the parrota was not great either, it did not taste like even a basic homemade one.We never enjoyed the food neither the service provided .
Nice place to eat indian Chinese and south Indian cuisine. Its cheap too.
Very slow service, takes a while to be seated and then we don’t even get water when we come in. They make us wait 30 mins even when there are kids. Make us wait too long. I don’t recommend. The floor is also dirty.
Very tasty. Excellent value.
Communication and service was poor. Gave us a table and waited until we finished ordering to tell us that we have to wait 45 mins for the food to be ready.
Very bad service din get our orders on time very slow service. Gave 2 tea order it took 1 n half hours to get the tea.
Best south Indian food in entire UK.Good quality, reasonable price, great customer service
Food is vegetarian and good but its always super busy
Food was delicious 😋test like a original South Indian
Perfect place all super tasty Dosa
Must do eat out with seating for upto 30 patrones and value for money !
The food was really good! I’ve been here a few times with my family. There’s a lot of choice- we had the dosas, pav bhaji, pani puri, dahi puri, sev puri, mango lassi and tea. However service was noticeably slow on a Sunday lunch time.
Best price and freshly made food
I enjoyed eating dosa in Dosa exsperss.... not only taste is amazing, but That service is remarkable.....
Not upto the mark but if you are hungry, you can try
Such a delicious mango 🥭 lussi
V good food but slow service.
Best food in affordable price
The only downfall is wait is too long. Waiting time can exceed 40mins
