One of the renowned restaurants of Old Dhaka. I have visited several times with friends. This year I have visited it again after more than 5 years. Traditional Dhakaia food is available here. Specially their plain rice and mutton glassy are mouthwatering. I have tasted mutton rezala and also mutton leg roast. Just Cant describe how delicious it was. Everyone should try their food at least once in their lifetime.

One of the most renowned restaurant in old Dhaka. their food quality is really on the top. we provide a variety number of breakfast dinner and snacks menus even they provide traditional food from old Dhaka city. but nowadays their service time is not appreciate able. they took really long time serve the food on the table or for take out. the washroom condition is not even upto the mark. they need to rebuild that place.

This is an ancient restaurant from the British period. Their food are authentic and delicious. The place is also very beautiful. Specially I am flattered by their food and behaviour. Loved this place so much.

The stuff will look at you and judge you whether you will give them good tip (money) or not. If they think not then they wont serve you. One stuff tells another to serve and the cycle continues. Eventually you wait abd wait for your food.

No variation in food. Tehari was not as expected. Nilkhet tehari is much better.

Its okay. But it could be better and improved. Specially the washroom section. Food is good and I think it degraded its quality. Previously all the people used to praise a lot and not the all do. We had lamb roast and plain rice. Not the whole restaurant is under AC. It should be care of. Anyway happy dine.

I came here for having something with vegetables. Since it was evening time. They said they didnt have any vegetable items available at that time. So i ended up trying there popular mutton leg roast with pulao. It was good. The mutton was well cooked, soft and tender. Also i tried their chinese vegetables. Which was also good. Though it had some little chicken pieces in it. And the milk tea here is also good.

Not the best restaurant Ive eaten in, but not the worst. The naan was riddled with cherries which god-knows who would eat with mutton rezala. The hygiene wasnt exactly pleasing. The cooks didnt maintain the slightest standards.Overall, would avoid.

AL-Razzak, one of the most popular restaurant in old town, Dhaka, Bangladesh. All the dishes here are fabulous! Their service is too good. All the menus taste superb! They are keeping their quality always very good. From breakfast to dinner, there are several types of menus. The Mutton mutton 🍛 Kacchi and the Faluda here are very much renown to all. There is no beef here. I will happily recommend everyone to be here once to taste any of the tasty 😋 foods here.

Our breakfast was pretty good. The taste was 4/5. Needs more items and choices in the menus. Also needs to renovate the place as its been the same for a very long time. It also needs serious cleaning and maintaining of its washroom.

Kacchi taste well but not extraordinary. Chicken biriyani is also good. Firni was awesome. Borhani taste better than any restaurant in Dhaka. But my favourite Borhani is from Palanna Restaurant, Narayanganj.Behaviour good. But need to improve little.They serve first.Here you also get steam rice & various vorta item. I heard their Faluda is best.Never judge this place, only for my review. Its a very famous restaurant in Dhaka. And you must visit once in your life time.Never waste food. You can share your rest over food with others. Respect your food.

AVOID IF YOURE NOT A LOCAL! They will rip you off! 1200 takas for 2 small pieces of chicken, 2 juice, and 6 slices of naan. Seriously.....AVOID. I gave 2 stars because the chicken was actually pretty good but who cares. Much better food where the people arent thieves. We looked at the menu on the wall, we couldnt read it but none of the numbers said 480. Which is what they charged us for each chicken. FOOD IS NOT THAT GOOD PLEASE AVOID!

Who else doesnt love Khashir paya? This is one of my favourite thing and id always like to have at morning breakfast. AL Razzak is one of my favourite place since childhood and it caused due to their amazing mutton paya. ⁣⁣Why do people visit them often? as they are extraordinary at making this and Khashir glasi as well. Both boosted them to being famous in puran dhaka. This truly famous item sells so fast, so, If you want to visit them, make its within 8am in holidays , and 9am in regular days. Otherwise, you might not get it. ⁣⁣Using of spices near perfection even pros and cons were balanced. The broth was enough thick and didnt get watery in the end. Flavours of clove and black pepper was visible and rich.⁣⁣ Both clove and black pepper successively were creating a solid delightful taste in mouth. Amazingly its flavours doesnt fade away.⁣⁣ Mutton legs flesh was soft and tasteful. Didnt bother me in chewing part. Can easily be separated from bones.⁣⁣ Quantity must reach your satisfaction level. ⁣⁣

Hotel Al razzak is a famous hotel for foodies. Its at old Dhaka, and this part of the city is usually crowded. So expect a great deal of traffic jam if u r going to Al Razzak. Their chicken tikka and faluda are the best items to me. Aside of these, Mutton Gelasi is another famous item that i would recommend. Even though the taste has changed over the last few years but its still a good thing to have. The restaurant is not pricy. Overall, its a not to be missed restaurant, if u r visiting old Dhaka. The food is unnecessarily super expensive. I personally did not find the staff good at all. Besides, while asked for bill, they gave us manual bill without ECR copy. That means they would take the VAT bill which was almost 190 taka. Later when I asked for the ECR bill. That means if you dont know they will not give you ECR bill but will keep VAT money in their pocket. Such a weird mentality in this so called reputed and expensive hotel. Their chicken biriyani is 180 taka. OMG. Old Dhaka legacy, one of the finest in Dhaka and top traditional restaurant in Bangladesh. Their breakfast manu includes a wide range of traditional dhakai menu like paya, kalija vuna, dal vuna, vegetable mix ang awesome tea. They also offer authentic dhakai menu glassy made of mutton. Famous by name, Razzaq restaurant is located at the financial district in Dhaka. I was not awed by it, but the food is good enough. Chicken tikka and Kacchi Biriyani are their strengths I think. Tired mutton chap, tastes good but I got a piece with too many bones.Hated the faluda btw.
