This is not a 3 star hotel as they claim. Though rooms are well furnished, most rooms dont have window. The service is poor. Food is good but service is poor. Not value for money.

Its very safe abs hygienic stay during this pandemic .awesome stay and food was fine. good Laotian. easy to reach .staff is vaccinated atleast with one dose .most important is safety and hygiene in pandemic time .

I got here 50 mins early and they told me to wait until 2 to check in!! They were accomodating later on though, and placed me in a room with a window when the room I was assigned didnt have one.

Dirty bedsheets, uncleaned bathroom. No hot water facility. Overall its pathetic.

Horrible experience. Untrained staffs. Their TV doesnt work, no toiletries, zero responsibility and have rules only to harass guests.Not a good place to stay neither it does worth it

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Stayed here for self quarantine and the service was outstanding. Wonderful customer service and outstanding hospitality. They took great care to make sure I was comfortable and went out of the way. Spacious and comfortable rooms with amenities, and delicious and high quality food as well. Great location, right off Rajpur Road which is kind of the center of Dehradun and by malls and shopping complexes. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Dehradun.

I feel its my familier hotel, the hotel staff are to supportive... Market area is too nearest from it.. This hotel is ina center... Of palatan bazar, indra market, tibbati market, veg non veg food also avaialble here in huge amount, fast food like mc d, burger king, donimos and all other big outlets are in 500 meter range by walking distance.

Used the Hotel for a facility for Institutional Quarantine... Dont expect facilities like wifi and hot water.. without making a call to the front desk..Food will be basic...no additional salt pepper without asking...The room is big.. with 2+1 beds.. and central AC and tv...

We stayed with family on dec 1. Great location with good market near by. The complimentary breakfast was awsome with good options. The front desk staff was polite and even the house keeping was was good. Rooms were clean and managed. The only issue that there was no window in rooms hence no view. u cant judge if outside there is dark or not. otherwise gteat stay with great service.

Good hotel at prime location within the budget, Mr. Rahul at front desk is very cooperative, helpful and knows about hospitality. No balconies in any rooms , No couch , cant smoke inside rooms, no exhaust in washrooms.

I stayed here for 4 days. Staff is polite. But service is pathetic. No hot water in tap in such cold days. Reception asks to call them for a bucket of hot water every time. Is this the service expected when hotel management cant provide the basic amenities like hot water. Rooms are nice. Food has limited options. I was served only paratha chole aaloo for all 4 days as complimentary breakfast. Also very limited options for veg food in lunch/dinner.Room stay comfortable. Clean rooms n toilets.Would have been happy to give 5 star rating if they provide running hot water in rooms. But unfortunately they were asking for 1 day time to sort that issue for continuous 4 days. But no luck.Staff is nice.

The location is in the centre of city , will not take your time to find the location . Talking about amenities it’s not as shown. It is not worth as much you pay . Rest food is good . The rooms are really neat and clean. I had visited multiple hotel in dehradun they are either fab or oyo. This is really better then all of them. They welcome uou with burash squash so try to preserve culture of uttrakhand.

The hotel is situated in a very popular location of the city, every popular spot is in near proximity to the hotel. All popular malls, shopping centres, gym are available on Raipur Road. The place is quiet since its not on the main road, the rooms are well-lit, the matteress is cozy and the ambience is kinda attractive, though a bit heavy on the eyes during daytime. The food from the in-house restaurant is delicious though expensive. The staff is very co-operative and helpful, they actually ensure every query of their guests is resolved. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay and Ill recommend The Solitaire Express to everyone looking for a good semi-premium hotel in Dehradun.

There is scope of improvement in terms of the quality of the amenities provided. Food prices are a bit higher than the usual. My family visited dehradun n they stayed at Solitaire Express.... hotel is situated on main rajpura road... it has amazing cusine and very decent n excellent interior design... i liked the rooms and room service... there is ample space in rooms and bathroom are very neat n clean... though little bit expensive but one would like to bear it on account of hygiene and service they offer....

Room was clean and spacious, food was great. everything was fine and worth the money. only thing that did go wrong was we were denied bill. when we insist on having it the man at the reception literally started shouting. however he later gave us the bill. otherwise it was a very pleasant stay.

Rooms were spacious and clean with good linen and bed for a cozy night sleep, had all the amenities for a perfect stay just some things could be improved, like bathroom used to smell really bad and weird specifically after taking a bath that if u went out and ac being switched off it circulated all around the room, so rooms need better ventilation also would be better if the hotel had windows that opened coz ventilation was a big no and most irritating , food was tasty but a slice of some more south indian, chinese, italian and less of indian would b good, staff was polite and professional, will visit again if the hotel can sort out the वे til issue.

Breakfast, which is included in the room rent is more than decent and the rooms themselves are good, clean and washrooms hygenic. The parking has ample space for your two-wheeler or 4-wheeler and the location of the hotel is good too as it is located on the main Rajpur Road.Overall, I had a great and satisfactory stay at the Solitaire Express, Dehradun.

Solitaire express is located in a very prime location. Full marks for that. We didnt stay there but got a chance to view the rooms. Rooms were clean and tidy. The service was a bit late in the restaurant but the quality of food was upto the mark. Parking space was ample and all the basic services were upto the mark. Overall a good place to be at. Kudos.

Stay at this hotel if you want to listen whats all going on the corridor and other rooms at night time. I think the walls are paper thin.The noise you can hear will be so loud that you have to get up and sit on your bed all night.When we were trying to sleep, some big group of wedding folks arrived on the corridor and kept making loud noises around 12:00. For us, it was like we were part of their group and like standing next to them. We called the hotel reception to complain and the response was just pale. Even when they went to their rooms, we could hear their murmurs and loud laughs. There is much room for improvement in terms of accoustics.The food at their dining was ok and due to no ventilation, it was like sitting in the closed tandoor Bhatti.Stay at this place if you dont have any other options.
