Good view and space. However, that’s seems to be it: Food doesn’t live up to the price tags. Staff quickly shifts from helpful to arrogant when asked about the lack of flavor from some of the main dishes (that they recomended) and then again when asked for some clarification regarding the bill. They charge you for small bread+2 olives that you didn’t order for and a then for “service”, which was their way of securing a waaaaay overpriced tip. Disappointing eating experience in Istanbul and I wouldn’t recommended

Nice wine ( not the best).Very beautiful view of the sea and Istanbul (asian side). Unfortunately with quite a bad view on the firework side.Waiters can speak English.We were there for the new years party 2020. Food wasn’t that good and a bit cold, actually more like cheap place quality although they had very expensive prices (85€ per person). Music was not awful, mostly turkish. The belly dance was a joke (one of the worst ones that I’ve seen so far). They took 10% as a service fee.

Beautiful views and delicious food. I only took a picture of my main. The sharing cold and hot mezze were very tasty and nice to order a selection. Dessert was also good. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Speak English and will help you through the menu with recommendations.

We went for the end of year dinner with colleagues at work. We had arranged a fixed menu, so I did not get to try the menu on my own. The mezes were mostly delicious. The view is the main attraction of the location. Our table was on the front row, so we enjoyed it. The entertainment part was quite fun. There was a belly dancer, but nothing too oriental. The music started at around 9.30-10 pm and was going at full speed as we were leaving at around 12.15 am. Good mix of Turkish pop music, some from the 90s, most from the 2000s. All in good taste.Waiters were helpful, service attentive and somewhat quick even though the place was full. Restroom was clean.Based on food only, I would rate three stars, but it was a good experience on multiple dimensions which is very rare.

Food is delicious and the ambiance is lovely... However, the best part of it is the spectacular views... The fish is good, but the meat dishes are even better. It is not so expensive for what you get. Mezze style eats with raki is the way to go here.

Great place for special celebration as it gives opportunity to see Bosforus channel and one of the bridges build by japaneese in 70s. Recommend turkish tapas as appetizers. Fancy deserts and quality Rakija. Great service

A blend in the breathtaking and historical place in Istanbul. The menu is blended between Tapas and Turkish food. So Romantic and delicious. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.

Topaz has one of the best views in whole city. When you look out from its grand windows, you dont believe this view came together itself. You think it must be a design of a great artist. So be sure, youll be gazing out most of your dinner.Service and hospitality is perfect. Just perfect. Doesnt matter how hard you try, you can not find something they could have done better. Atmosphere and design of the place is great too.Menu is rich, diverse and quite ambitious (especially presentation). You can find classic Turkish specials, modern fine dining pieces and even some experimentation.Food is really good too. But after all this grandeur of view, hospitality, diversity and check (!). I would expect it to taste better. I enjoyed it a lot, but not enough to give me tingles. When the check is 4 digits I expect the tingles =)

Bad food quality and overpriced especially for vegetarian eaters. I would suggest to try to Ullus 29 for vegetarians for better quality for the same price

Definitely gone down hill big timeIf during Ramadan, when the whole population flocks to the restaurants after sundown, you have an empty restaurant only with a small number of tourists in it that tells you something.Food mediocre at best. One of the greatest views of Istambul! Very pricy but absolutely worth it for the experience. At some point the restaurant dimmed the lights and a belly dancer start a big party across the restaurant. Everyone stood up and started dancing. Loads of fun!

Not recommended. Very bad experience and the food it has nothing to do with the description in the menu. Except the view, the prices are high and the menu prices are tricky. They start to serve the water without your agree, then they present you an assortment of small salads that you make choice than they serve it in big quantities and double price of course. Dont pay by euro or dollar since the rate also is very low than the market exchange. They charge the service also 20%.

Rarely does a restaurant with such a great view also deliver on service and food. The degustation was impeccable and amongst the best I have experienced. Rarely do I visit a place twice when I travel but might make an exception here.

This place has outstanding view of the Bosphorus. I have tried both cold and hot mezes which were all very tasty. Also keep in mind that their meze portions(plates) are quite big compared to other places. They have excellent service and very friendly staff.

Another nice restaurant in Istanbul. It used to be an iternational restaurant but it is now a Meihane, a very good one. Prices are high, but quality of food is great (very turkish traditional). It is in front of the Besiktas stadium, and has an amazing view of the Bosphorus. I tried seabass, and it was delicious. I strongly recommend this restaurant.

I went to topaz but did not eat lunch or dinner simply because they have no outdoor or balcony and no nirgili ( shisha), so not sure if it has good food menu but it is located in elevated place where you can see the sea.

Was in the summer of 2019, at the KENWOOD Communications seminar. There was dinner at this restaurant. The kitchen is gorgeous. I liked the liver very much. The view from the restaurant is very beautiful. Sat and meditated all evening.

Let me start from the good side. Because less. Appetizers are delicious, service is fast. The bad, the restaurant is very crowded and the tables are cramped, the environment is noisy. As my glass edge reservation request was not taken into consideration, we were seated at the worst positioned table. The gentleman in the cloakroom is rude. As everyone writes, the view is beautiful. But the time to go should be chosen correctly. If you say lets listen and chat on a calm day on weekdays, your job is hard. You will be uncomfortable with the attendant friends looking at you constantly. There is psychological pressure or let them get up and they say so. When I was Topaz, it was my favorite restaurant in Istanbul, where I enjoyed degustation with my friends and guests 4 or 5 times a year. So much so that I was here even on my birthday. Tenderloin Turkish delight came dry and cold, we found it unsuccessful

Stress of the day with a wonderful dinner you can throw over a very rare place. The concept is perfect. it manages to take you back in time. The meals were delicious, the staff scrumptious. What more does one want? I hope they can maintain this quality for many years without spoiling it.

The scenery is spectacular. You need to give the right view and location. The dishes especially the patties and meat sucks. I wouldnt complain easily, but I regret the koft I ate there. The waiters were polite but the image was much like protection from the waitress ..
