This place is one of the best in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. It is in the Saharanpur road, slightly outside the city center. Reasonable price, hygiene, clean bed, good restaurant,etc. make it as the best choice for bedding and dining in this mountain city. Service is good, people in the reception are cordial, room attendants are polite. I loved the stay here. Check it out, if you visit Dehradun.

I would not recommend this hotel to someone who is willing to pay about 4k a night. This is not worth it.There are much better options in this price around the city.When I checked in I requested to take my pet dog in the room for just 15mins, they denied and did not even have courtesy to provide me a space to wait with him downstairs in covered area since it was raining.When we checked in to the room, the room was dirty and had dust all over the windows and tables, moreover the lamps were not working, the bathroom sink had a blockage due to which the water was not flowing out easily.In the evening, we forgot our key at our relatives place in dehradun and requested them to issue a duplicate key to us until next day morning z to which they denied as well and said we will get the room opened everytime you move out but cant issue another key. I was shocked to know which hotel has this rule that they cant issue a duplicate key.The staff at Front Office is not helpful at all and is not at all professional. They are just someone who would go by the rules without caring for their guests.Me being a regular visitor to DDN, would never ever book this property again.

I had done lunch twice and dinner once in this hotels restaurant and it was a very good experience, the food was very tasty,fresh and hygienic. They are quite professional and good in hospitality. The ambiance of the hotel is very good, they are also having arrangements for party and wedding. Overall it was a good experience and we will definitely love to visit there again.

Initial impact was superb. Location is easy to find. Ample parking and customer lounge is very well spaced and comfortable. Rooms are spacious and bathroom is well spaced but bathroom needs renovation now. Cracks and damaged are clearly visible. They give 2 half litre water bottle per day and are rigid in giving more. They will offer you RO water instead once you finish that one litre. Linen is very clean.I wanna shout out to the chef. I ate the best paneer tikka of my life here at softel plaza. Thanks to the chef who made that. I will always remember the taste. Bathroom soap is useless and small. No dental kit available in bathroom. Wifi works like charm. Front office staff is very courteous and support staff is also very helpful.I will visit again for sure

Room service is excellent..courteous staff...peaceful stay as its located in the starting of Dehradun, away from city crowd, good hotel for family.House keeping need to improve more. The minibar in the room was empty even though the price chart was displayed above that. they could provide dental kit & shaving kit on demand.food quality was good.

Nice location, on road. 5-10 mins from bus terminal. Hotel is quite and well maintained. Room were good and well maintained. Good for family and luxury stay.There is a bar and a restaurant in house.

The hotel was full of flowers at the entrance, it was a lovely sight. The reception area was comfortable while we checked in. Fortunately everything about the hotel was exceptional, and I dont give praise lightly. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service and good food for breakfast and dinner. The service in both places was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped, warm and comfortable. I could go on but suffice it to say I was very pleased with my stay, and although short and sweet this time, I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

Good hotel had a great experience there . Awesome amenities are there room service is very fast and. Food is delicious with a variety of cuisines available for a la carte meal or a buffet meal. There are available banquet halls as well with well equipped fire handling extinguishers

Hotel was god. Room service was good but they dont have hot water all the time. They provide hot water 6 am to 11 am and then 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm which is kinda sad.Good

But if looking for a nice view of queen of hills, from your hotel window, i will not suggest this hotel as it is situated on the outskirts of the city on the opposite side. Convenient place for bus stoppages as situated near ISBT.I did not find the food tasty here, it was overpriced given its taste. Overall rated 4.

I took a brief stop at this hotel on the way from Delhi to Mussourie. It had passable washrooms, breakfast was decent. Location on highway and ample parking are a big plus. I had asked for a non spicy paratha but got one stuffed with lot of red chilli powder. Guess the dough would be pre made..

Rooms are spacious and equipped with all the basic requirements including a hair dryer. Food is delicious but servings are quite large. Staff is courteous.

Its a very good hotel to stay in Dehradun, nice rooms, nice restaurant, nice service, food is also good, they have written that they dont allow outside food but they didnt stop us bringing any food from out side. Our rooms view was also good. Overall we enjoyed our stay there.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 days and faced no issues anytime. Rooms are exactly same as shown in the photographs. They are spacious. Staff was really courteous and knew hospitality to serve their guests very well. At Reception we asked several times for addresses of certain places, the Person who was sitting their always replied with a lovely smile.We ordered lunch also, it was very tasty too. Breakfast buffet was OK, i mean not a leisure one. It was basic: One day it was Paratha+ bread butter+fruits+Juices+Upma+egg. Another day it was Puri bhaji (instead of paratha)+ rest same. i felt the only little issue was its location. It is on the main road as soon as Dehradun starts. So city is far from it. Else no problem.

The hotel looks ordinary with first looks from the road. Although the moment I entered the reception I could feel an ambience of calmness surrounding me. Clean lobby, Clean rooms and everything very clean with perfectly kept decorative items. Although I was there for a google partners programme that sucked big time, but as I managed to peek inside one of the rooms, it was clean spacious with good furniture.P.S-The dont expect a bathtub or jacuzzi in the bathroomActually 3.5 rating would have better suited but it was not avialable so a 4 star.

Had a chance to visit Dehradun for a business trip recently. Initially i was worried about the quality of hotel since i was accompanied with Japanese people. But it was an amazing experience. The staff was courteous, food was good and the ambience was soothing.

I came for my official company work here. One of the best hotels in dehradoon... Big spacious rooms... Best ac freaking best i will say. Ive been to many places before but the air condition system is just too perfect here. Butter chicken with tandoori roti i loved of this hotel.... Staff is good, Service time is average.. The buffet breakfast that they have is having good selection, i liked the sandwich and poha and the dry fruit cake, wow amazing it was... Ample space for parking... Little outside to Dehradoon but hardly matters if you are getting good property... I gues you found it goo

Worst hotel ever. We were staying here when attending a friends wedding and the booking had been made by the grooms father. Housekeeping broke a table top and not only did they try to pin it on us, but when we refused to pay they called up uncle and in an attempt to extract money said random things about our stay. We were two adult women and this is a gross violation of our privacy. We did not break any rules or do anything unacceptable. The whole point of a hotel is maintaining the privacy of guests and ensuring a comfortable stay. They did none of those. In fact the hotel staff gave incorrect information about the cost of booking a cab and did not provide the wake up call we had requested, which caused a lot of problems for our stay. Absolutely the worst hotel, and extremely rude and ill mannered staff with no idea about customer service whatsoever.

Well pretty decent business hotel..Location:Around 7 Km from station and near by of ISBT...Airport will be approximately 30km....Amenities: I stayed in a deluxe category room and few amenities were missing like refrigerator ...I dont know,may be hotel authorities doesnt offer the same facilities in deluxe category rooms but I believe now days its one of the priority thing in a room..So if any one need it please cross check once before booking...Breakfast:I would say average but obviously not that bad...Bar: Small bar for them who preferred to spend some time after busy schedule, prices are almost reasonable...Main course food: I would like to rate 2.5 star in comparison to price.Staff: Best part of the hotel not just because I got two hours complimentary Check out extension but there response time are up to the mark..Overall good for 1-2 days business trip..Hope hotel management will improve their services in near future...cheers

Hotel Softel Plaza is a comfy and cosy place to relax in after a tired day spent sight seeing Dehradun. I specially appreciate the elegant and stylish rooms with views of picturesque Mussoorie hills, very comfortable beds, spacious and nice bathroom with world class bath fittings. The rooms have amenities of tea/coffee makers and minibar. I would recommend this place and would love to come again.

Great location-courteous staff- lovely room- great room service snacks and restaurant buffet breakfast- clean rooms although there was a small cockroach in the bathroom-good selection of TV channels-no room fridge for my wifes insulin- pity the reception ladies didnt smile on greeting and didnt inform us about timings and location for breakfast on arrival-hot water did not work the first evening (even though we ran the water for my whole shower) so we showered in cold water as we had to attend a wedding and could not delay, it was rectified on informing the desk on the way out- courteous reception and room service people!-I would go back definitely!
