Till date the best restaurant I have visited in Dehradun in terms of taste and service.Ambience is a bit of an improvement point for those customers who prefer lively and happening kind of environment but for me it was perfect coz its peaceful. Food taste is amazing, smooth yet full of flavors. Pahadi menu is awesome. If you dont like the ambience then order it.

This place is in the outskirts of the town (8 kms). The ambience is nice, well lit, decorated with traditional figurines. The seats are really comfy.So as we entered we were warmly greeted by the staff. They provided us the menu but we could not find any traditional thali (read Uttarakhandi food). As we enquired them, they gave us a different menu which had all the traditional dishes. They said that as people dont prefer eating the traditional food here, so we didnt give you the menu.We ordered the non veg Uttarakhandi thali (350 each + GST), and when it was served, we thought to ourselves why so less on the plate. It was at the end that we came to know that all these were more than enough.I have posted a video of all the items, and we were also served a juice which is extracted from a flower in the mountains. And all these were amazing.I suggest everyone who has a taste buds for these kinda food adventure, do try this restaurant. It is just beside the IT park entrance.

It is loacted nearby sahastradhara road. It a little bit far from main dehradun city Its very calm and beautiful place to dine out . Very nice sitting areas with comfortable sitting accessories.Basic facilities like parking and washroom are good here. You can also come here to celebrate birthdays and parties. In the end it is an amazing place to eat in doon........

Need more speedy service. Otherwise it is a cozy place for enjoyment. But needs the maintenance at Entrance. While entering on side of gate filthy & rotton articles are lying . Moreover a big hole on the rightside of entry gate where any car can get in. Needs proper attention and publicity for more earning to this.

I have visited Kafal 4 times in the last 6 months. Each time the experience has been excellent. Simple , quiet, spacious restaurant with courteous, extremely efficient and quick staff and food which was fresh, flavoursome as well as wholesome.Appreciative menu with wide choices.Highly recommended: Pahari Thali, Pahari mutton curry with rice, madwa roti, Pahari chicken masala. Vegetarian dishes also come in empteen choices. Gulp them down with some cool Buransh juice.My last visit in march was an impromptu visit along with 40 guests. We got served fresh, steaming hot food within 30 minutes. Must appreciate the promptness and warmth with which the food was served. Value for money 9/10. Highly recommended for all who visit Dehradun.
