There’s a mask mandate for indoor establishments in the city of Columbus. You wouldn’t know it here. I just popped in for a few things and easily 1/2 of the people in there didn’t have masks on. There are signs on the doors but no one is enforcing it. Want Covid? Come to this Kroger!

10 minutes until close I needed 1 thing and the security guard wouldn’t let me in. If you are changing your hours you should post it so people don’t drive across town to be disappointed. (This was evening of the 12th) I called after being turned away and the employee didn’t apologize, just told me that had to get the people out of the store because they are taking too long. I told him that wasn’t me I only needed 1 item.

This Kroger is absolutely terrible at keeping its items stocked. Need bread/milk/butter/eggs? Youve got a 50/50 chance. Need anything else? I suggest going to another store entirely. You wont find what you need. Trust me. Their employees do not seem to care about your shopping experience either. And the stores aisle are so tiny that youre unable to move around other people without knocking into their cart. Especially now that there is a Starbucks in there.I recommend shopping at the Giant Eagle down the street or Luckys. Not only will you find better meat/produce, but youll also have a larger selection of everything else to choose from. And youll be able to get everything you need without worrying if something will be in stock.

It’s okay for certain things, but I usually avoid going here if I can.I often have issues with purchases from this particular Kroger. Batteries that were crusty and leaking when I opened the package, sausage patties with mold growing in them, mold on cheese that definitely should not have mold, mold on prepackaged produce (oranges & potatoes) …you get the point. Honestly, in my experience, most perishables here are high risk.To be fair, there are a select few produce items they carry that are usually fresh, like their dill. They sell it in bunches instead of those small plastic packages. Also the guy who monitors self check out goes out of his way to be attentive, friendly, and helpful.

First everything is as disorganized as it can get. Instead of putting all the nuts in one aisle they have them spread across the entire store. Second I wouldnt dare touch the fresh produce the bananas all had mold all over them. I recommend shopping somewhere else because it will save you time and you wont have to worry about getting sick.

The Starbucks staff located inside this Kroger Co. have been doing a good job lately and compared to other stores that have one in them. I had a experience at the service desk. The clerk was friendly once they arrived. At first there was nobody behind the service desk. I was just playing two lottery ticket numbers and it was a hassle. Overall, Kroger is Kroger. They are no longer Winning in Each Store. #391IC

For the first time in over a year since the pandemic started I made the mistake of going to Kroger. The reason I stopped shopping there is I felt they dont care about their patrons it would not hold up to covid-19 regulations and guess what I was correct. When I was shopping today I noticed someone was not wearing a mask so I went to a manager to report the issue. The manager said it was too hard to deal with this customer and said sorry. I will go back to shopping at Giant eagle whole foods and Aldis because those places care about their shoppers and will make people not wearing a mask or following policy leave the store.

Most employees are finally wearing masks (Id talked to some last month who said masks were too hot), but I saw both men behind the meat counter with their masks pulled down to expose their noses and mouths while handling raw meat. I told a manager who went to address it, then I had to pass by later in my visit for an item I forgot. Its my normal grocery stop. Though the main and frustratingly consistent negative is the perpetual shortage of microcarts. A fine Kroger overall, but points are definitely lost for the atrocious size and placement of the parking lot. The length and depth take away from the walkable built environment of the area and wholly incentivizes driving. The crosswalks at the intersection are a nice touch, but when you have a literal city-block parking lot on a hot or cold day, nothing brings people in from the street.

The problem is that it’s a tiny Kroger with a cramped parking lot, narrow aisles and not a giant selection. It’s strange considering the neighborhood it’s in and how it now serves the vast majority of folks who used to get their groceries at the Kroger that closed.
