Good place for delicious and authentic South Indian food in Columbus. Small menu but it’s better that way. Service is good and food even better. Will come again.

Food over here use to be really good and “homey”and that’s why this place was my go-to for Indian vegetarian, although it was considerably worse this time. Prices are cheap, so you can always give it a try to judge for yourself. I am probably avoiding this joint in future. Love the food here. It is close to authentic Karnataka style food. Prices are very reasonable too. The owner is very friendly. We always like to take Dosa thali with other options. North Indian cuisine is not compared to South Indian one in the restaurant.

Time and time again, this restaurant impresses me. We had lunch and also a take out for dinner. It was so professional and packing was impeccable. Food was fresh when we opened it around 8pm. Truly home made food.

Good place to enjoy southern india style food, prices are ok and quantity of food is enough. Taste wise its feels authentic we enjoy dining out here. Service is good. Decor of this restaurant feels and looks like typical Indian restaurants which is good and feels like we are home. Recommended.

We used to live in Columbus and this was one of our favorite destinations for authentic South Indian vegetarian fare. When we visited Columbus recently, we couldnt pass up the opportunity to eat here again. The owners are wonderful people, truly caring and quality conscious. Food is always good, but try their idlis and dosas for sure. The bisi bela bath is superb. Vadas are great too. Its a cozy place but well worth the trip. All my friends whom I introduced this place to are loyal customers many years in. Very reasonably priced.

Amazing Dosa! If you havent tried it, this place really does it well. Pleasantly spicy hot as well. Great vegetarian place, but if you are a carnivore like myself it is still worth a try as its delicious. However.... The service... leaves a lot to be desired. A tad slow and a bit inattentive, but despite that, still worth trying with the hope that aspect improves.

The portions are huge. There are tons of options if you are gluten or dairy free. Doing carry out is easy and they pack everything super well so it still stays crispy and fresh.

The best dosa I have ever had in the recent time. They have a huge collection of dosas and uthappams. We ordered onion chili masala dosa and Hyderabad masala dosa Thalis. Thali means a combination of an idli, 2 vadas (garilu), one gulab jamun along with our respective dosa or a uthappam. Both are very yummy and delicious and we ate our tummy full. Restaurant ambience is simple but pleasant and resembles some udipi hotels in India and it is pure veg. So it’s a delight for vegetarians. Looking to visit again.

Good place to have different varieties of Dosa. They also have a Dosa thali consisting of 2 idlis, vadas and a Dosa of choice. They even have different vegetarian rice items. There are only vegetarian food items. The restaurant is very well decorated. There might be some rush during weekends.

If you enjoy South Indian food this place is must. I love dosa, idli and medu vada so decided to visit this restaurant and I do not regret my decision. The food taste is ultimate and you won’t forget it.Tried-dosa thali contains 1 dosa, idli, 2 ,vadas, chutney, sambar(there are different options for dosa thalis and you can modify if you want) and-chole bhature thali contains chole, 2 bhature, rice, mix veg , medu vada, sambar, chutney, papad, pickle (modified- extra bhatura in place of rice)Will definitely visit again.

My wife and I are from out of town. We were looking for a nice experience eating out. Dosa Corner is a little gem. The food and service were GREAT. We loved it, and I would recommend it highly.

Some of the best Indian Food Ive ever had. Their menu is completely vegetarian with some tasty appetizers and entrees. My recommendations are the Potato Samosas and the Vegetable Curry. The rice is cooked perfectly and the yogurt/sauces always add flavor to their already delicious plates.The menu also includes some nice beverages like traditional Chai.

Cant say anything about Dining in, as Ive always ordered Carry-Out or Delivery. The food......really really good, just tasty Indian food. Variety of foods, I like the curry and rice dishes... I believe the entire menu is vegetarian... but dont be discouraged, this food is spicy and tasty and creamy and just... Great. Dont be afraid to try something new, they set you up with delicious sauces and sides, and the Dosas they sell are huge and filling, though really not my favorite, but trust me theres plenty to be discovered if a dosa isnt your thing. Well worth it.

Hyderabad masala dosa is good.. Bangalore dosa has too much stuffing and frozen vegetables.. Gulab jamun is the best.. Good assistance.. Homely feel restaurant.. Classic background music. Washrooms need to be renovated.

Quality is deteriorating these days, this kind of business model needs freshly prepeard food every day, but I guess due to covid and low turnaround, they are not fresh.Can you imagine medu vada, being refrigerated and redone. Thats the most unauthentic Wayne making a vada.

Best dosa in the US !

We went to dine in but were turned away and were told that we need reservation to dine in although they had half of the tables still available. We contacted them on Facebook messenger before visiting to confirm if they were open for dine in and they never mentioned that reservation was required. This is highly unprofessional and they should have informed us on fb and we would have asked for a reservation. Never going to visit again or order delivery.

Probably the best Indian food Ive ever eaten. The customer service is awesome, family run business, super reasonable in terms of price (tax is displayed on menu, so no surprises regarding prices when you come to pay, you!). If you eat anywhere in Columbus, eat at Dosa Corner.

Good choice of dosas. However I found their methu vada and idlis better than dosas. Dosa feels very bland and gets pretty rubbery in about an hour a time making it pretty much inedible. Seems the batter is not prepared properly.

Dosa Corner is a neighborhood staple, really a city feature. Excellent vegetarian South Indian fare that is usually also gluten-free and lactose-free (ghee is lactose-free dairy). Complex flavors you may not have encountered elsewhere that are not as heavy and rich as many North Indian dishes. If you havent had a sit here, you need to find your way here.

Dont worry if its busy, it is worth the wait. The place has a cool atmosphere. I can see why they have a lot of good reviews.

This place is THE place to go if you want some tasty, authentic, wholesome Indian food. Great for a hearty, sit-down meal at the table with your family/friends/both!

The food was authentic south Indian and was really great. Loved the Idlis, chutney and Mysore Masala dosa. They were the best Ive had in the US! The sambar was too tangy for my taste though.Wish the place was cleaner.

A very comforting meal. We got take out. 2 dosas (paneer masala and paper dosa) as well as 1 uthappam. They offer a combo meal which comes with some appetizers and a small dessert. With the extra $2 to try some new stuff. Everything is reasonable in terms of pricing.I’ve never had dosas, so it’s was a nice way to try different stuff. The chutney and other dipping sauce were great. We got takeout and everything was packaged in a way that didn’t leak and was easy to enjoy at home.I’d defiantly go back.

My husband and I order from Dosa Corner whenever we don’t feel like cooking. We try something new every time, and have never tried something we didn’t love. The food is fantastic, the staff is very nice, and prices are too good to be true.My husband’s 2 cents: “I don’t know what it is, but every time we go to Dosa Corner, I feel giddy”.

For its amazing ambience and tasteful decor the sambar and chutneys are just as tasteless and bland. Even the dosas are not that spectacular. Its an average meal, a tad bit pricey.there is a large variety of dosas given yet none are droolworthy

Food is good, but service is worst. They don’t even care if you go in to restaurant and waiting to be seated. They see you but they don’t care. You have to go & ask if you can sit and order. It happens all the time, not a one time event.

The food was bland and not spicy in the least - though the waitress warned us about spice level when we ordered.Though they advertise on the back of the menu that they wish to be considerate of food allergies, the waitress seemed unsure of which dishes might have certain ingredients, and which did not. We nearly had to go through the whole menu with her, line by line, to figure out which items wouldnt trigger a peanut allergy.In the end, we waited for 30+ minutes to figure out a check would not be given to us at our table, and we would have to approached the counter to figure out payment.We were recommended this place as a very authentic place, with delicious cuisine by friends. Definitely disappointed with the experience, and we likely will not return.

Authentic vegetarian Indian cuisine with nice people. We went there once when electric power for the whole block was out. The staff brought candles for each table and cooked the food using their gas range.

Worst service of any restaurant I’ve ever been to! First time we tried eating here, we waited 15 minutes for a table only to be completely ignored by the staff, ended up leaving. Second time, a server gestured in the direction of a dirty table, table was never cleared or cleaned, we waited 15 minutes with no water even brought over, finally just left. Food is great for carry out but absolutely do not recommend dining in.

Very Disappointed the with the service. Went to dine with great expectation and really feel bad to give these rating. There was no welcome for new customer / waited for long time to order. The staff was just busy in her/his own world not even bothered to say hello or will let us know that they will take the order in short time or long time. I felt like staff was just busy with their known customer and not interested in any new customer. Waiting would be worth if eating experience is great but even that was awful. My kind advise to management please treat your consumer fair because your business depend on them. Please develop some business ethics so that you would not loose customer in the future. I would never visit here anymore. This is my honest feedback.

We stopped here for lunch on the way in to Columbus recently. We found the restaurant on Happy Cow as we were looking for vegan places to stop and eat.The food here was fantastic but the service over lunch was super slow and the owner seemed to be somewhat rude to his staff. While I enjoyed the food, Id think twice about stopping here again.If you have lots of time, be sure to check this out. If youre looking for fast service, Id skip this one.

Been there twice and the food has been consistently tasty both times. Hope that they maintain the quality of cooking.The place is the quintessential Indian eat with minimal decoration. While the service was not found wanting, you would not be getting a personal attention. Go there for the food, and you will not be disappointed.

I am visiting Dosa Corner since last 3 years now and have never been disappointed. Food is always fresh and very delicious. Owner of the Dosa Corner is very gentle and honest guy and he treats his customers very well. Price is also not much. In this much cheap price one will not get this kind of delicious food every where. I highly recommend this place.

Great place for having Dosa! Beware though, its all vegetarian! However, if your palate can detect tastes not attached to meats then youd love this place.

This place has amazing food, however the service sucks. Service makes or breaks a restraurant, therefore if servers come and take orders only then this place will thrive. I love the food however they need to hire some better waiters who actually care. If you come here expect to wait to give your order for 20 or more min or call their attention to give order otherwise they will just go about their business. Hopefully the manager of this place sees this post so this place can become 10 times better. Only thing lacking is service. One of the waiters is particularly bad he just ignores people until you get his attention/call him. Not how it should work. Once you order the food comes fast thought.

NOTE FOR THOSE WITH NUT ALLERGY. I really like Dosa Corner. Its a nice atmosphere with great food. However I feel its important to warn potential customers with nut allergies. My friend and I went here last night and he is severely allergic to nuts. He mentioned to the waiter that this was the case and the waiter assured him that his food would be nut-free. However, during the course of the meal my friend began having a mild allergic reaction. Non-life threatening (he didnt have to use his EpiPen or go to the hospital), but still pretty unpleasant. He thinks it was due to cross-contamination with nuts in the kitchen-- perhaps a pan with a little nut residue. So if you have a nut allergy I would avoid Dosa Corner.

The food is one of the best authentic south Indian food I have had in US. Service can be a little bit slow from time to time, as it is run by a family and it is a small joint. However, it is still a great authentic Indian joint that is at an affordable reasonable price and the food tastes great.

I have been here multiple times in span of last 2 years, it has gradually faded away its authenticity, taste, cleanliness. Last time when my food was supplied servers fingers were touching food and next minute was cleaning table and next holding a cleaning stick, disgusting. Food supplied was not hot, it was cold, and Bangalore tali I ordered had nothing but just sambar, which was not tasting good. Everything was messed up. Hoping they would work on Cleanliness, hot, tasty food, and if a food item is over then tell customer to order something else instead of making from left overs.
