A great movie theatre located inside One Galle Face! They have a number of theatres which are quite comfortable and modern. They audio and visual quality inside the theatre is awesome. Id recommend making a booking online since the tickets gets sold out pretty quick. They dont allow you to take any snacks, even popcorn into the theatre after covid19 which is a bit of a bummer. Their pricing for the snacks is also quite confusing since you cant actually buy 1 separate item from the cafe. You have to buy a portion which includes at least 3 or 4 separate items which makes the process very confusing so watch out for that!

Probably the best theatre in Colombo. Good to have PVR in Sri Lanka :) . They have quite a few halls so they have a screening every hour most of the time. Online booking is recommended since the it gets sold out often, although sometimes network issues comes while doing so(mostly after they started implementing seat arrangements for social distancing I guess). Very comfortable seats and great surround sound audio. Good customer care too.May be a bit over priced but its worth for it.

Recently opened with strict Covid guidelines. Cant remove the face masks in the hall. Foods and drinks should take and finish it at the lobby or cafeteria. Cant bring those things to hall also. Not too crowdy. But I enjoyed every much.

Ticket prices are reasonable if you are visiting on Monday to Thursday. The place is really clean. And the seats are really comfortable. The picture quality and the sound quality is excellent. You can check the movies times and prices through pvr mobile app. They even offer variety of foods. But the prices are a bit on the expensive side.

Brand new cinema theatre by an Indian brand. I would say, it is great place place to see a movie. It is designed in a word class level; similar to the cinemas in USA and etc.. price is not so high; it is some what equal to the scope cinemas. There are some luxury and kid friendly cinemas as well. Try out for once, I am sure you will enjoy it.

We love the cinema at OGF but just wanted to bring to attention that one of the workers at the theatre cafeteria named Hashini was being rude to another employee in front of us. She spoke loudly and rudely when the other employee asked a simple question of where the bubble tea menu was. We felt sorry for the employee as this must have been embarrassing and we wonder if she has been in this situation multiple times before as she quickly moved on and spoke to us as if the other employee hadnt spoken at all. Please sort this out. The theatre is great and we havent seen this kind of thing before as we usually come at night and only have gents take our food orders. Other than this, the experience is great.

PVR cinema provides you a next level customer service with luxury facilities to watch your favorite movie relaxing your self! Audi 1 and 2 has adjustable seats which you can adjusted it for 180 degrees. They provides you a blanket, adjustable table and free water bottle for each seat. There are butlers available to order food and beverages while you are watching the movie. This is similar to first class/ business class facilities in a flight. I would say the best experience so far in a Sri Lankan Cinema.

The movie was shown in good 3D Effect but bad maintenance inside the movie hall and also the lights were not switched off when the movie has started. Booking is done 👍 quickly. It has many auditoriums as you pass through the halls.

Darbar ! Was the film I experienced here first place. This is the best place for the best picture quality and the sound systems. The entrance and passage was goldish with a premium look. The seats were very comfy through out the movie.

Good spacious theatre and very good seats especially in Audi 1 theatre. Screen quality was good and the audio is only 7.1 Dolby. Only downside is that the prices are not reliable they change it whenever they want.

Best cinema theatre scheme in Sri Lanka! At first I thought it was the Colombia city centre ones but later when I went to this I realised scopes cinemas were not great as these! There are 9 cinema theatres. Two of them are luxe. And the rest of them are normal ones! The audio is powered by Dolby Atmis 7.1 (which is the latest one).Which means 3d sounds. Screen is Imax. Super clear. I perfectly recommend it. Loved it so far very much!

PVR doesnt need any introduction to its name and the fascinating movie experience which people are fond of in the world of Cinema. It comes to Colombo with superb interiors and is extremely spacious.Ive been to both Luxury and the normal audis here. LUXE Hall, as the tag line says A Cinematic Game Changer is extremely amazing with comfy and relaxing seats and thrilling sound system. Normal Audis are also good as expected. Overall, a Perfect movie watching experience.They have also brought a new concept of Play House which is having 2 audis specifically designed for kids and have a separate play arena outside the theatres as well.

Reason for my rating is simple. Poor customer service at the counter. I came here to watch a movie with my good friend and my company ceo who is from India. We were treated very badly by a girl at the Ticketing counter. I previously visited this place and came through a shift manager and yet they ill-treated my guest and myself. But the shift manager was really good enough to sort out the issue. Finally we got our movie tickets. But our mood was spoiled by the poor attitude of the girl in the counter And lack of communication from her.I hope these things will not happen since I know the customer care and service provided by PVR at India.I highly recommend that PVR should maintain multinational corporate standards.

Went to Cinema no. 8 and the viewing experience was not so great. The movie quality wasnt crisp and clear; I think what made it worse was the exit signs right under the screen and red lighting on the steps -- both very hard to ignore. Overall, experience was ok. Not the best cinema in town for sure.

Well the movie theatre to go to if you want to stretch you legs and enjoy like at home. Luxe is just Rs. 50 more than the normal ticket at scope if you book for the morning show. Sound quality is almost the same as dolby atmos st CCC. Recommend.!!!

Please teach your staff to treat the customers properly. The staff at entrance thinks that they are paying for our movie and they are very rude. Do not visit this place if you have your bags, water bottles, power bank and etc. only good if you bring your money in pocket so that they can rob the customers

Amaizing cinema. A super experience new to Colombo this is one place you must watch. The staff is not experienced and they need training. Like a lot of training had a very bad experience with 2 of them. But the manager was super nice to us and impressive. All in all I would come again!

Very good but cant take snacks to the theatre after covid 19

The place is attractive, very neat and cheerful employees. At the entrance they take the temperature and have to write contact details of one person of the party (due to covid19 identification obviously) . The ticket prices are reasonable. The seats are pretty comfortable as well. However when I went there, the video didnt show up on the screen for all the advertisements and about 2 minutes into the movie, only the audio was there. They corrected it and started the movie from the beginning. Sound quality is great. The snacks are expensive and the portions are smaller considering the price. However they have a variety of snacks from pizzas to pop corn.

Theater offers several different comfort levels of screenings and has a diverse food and drink menu. (I give 5 stars for that!) I went to a Lux screening. I was impressed with the seating and free amenities (bottled water, blanket, small pillow). But from the moment the credits started the sound was off. I told the theater attendant and he said it was just for the previews. The movie started and the sound didnt change. It was very difficult to hear the dialogue. I found another employee and complained. He said they were working on it. Nothing happened. After an hour, they paused the film for intermission. Several employees went behind the screen and attempted to fix the sound. After 15 minutes they started the movie again. Unfortunately the sound was worse. I found another employee and complained. 3 mintues later, I still couldnt hear anything so I WALKED OUT OF THE MOVIE. Fortunately the manager was very nice and accommodating. He issued me a refund and apologized. But I wish I hadnt wasted an hour and a half of my afternoon.

The two stars are basically just because Mulan was an amazing movie. The food is an entirely different story. Firstly its way overpriced there was nothing below 500rs i believe, which would be inconvenient for teens coming to watch the movie by themselves. In addition to being overpriced the food portion were so small in comparison and totally not worth the money. I ordered a teriyaki chicken burger, fried rice from the mulan special menu and fries. The burger was 900rs and was a mediocre one at that, i could have made better at home. Also a warning to those getting burger, MAKE SURE YOU GET YOUR INCLUSIVE FRIES. It clearly states in the menu that customers are supposed to get fries with their burger, apparently i was the exception. When my food arrived at the cinema hall i didnt get my burger inclusive fries and when i asked the guy who brought my food if i get fries with the burger he said no. Moreover for the separate fries i purchased it didnt even fill half the box and it was well above 500rs which is such a waste of money. Overall food was mediocre at best and it was too overpriced at that.

Good place to watch a movie, but online booking site sucks always Something event wrong, even walk in booking said full but their was many seats empty around half of the theatre.

So far the place is new and good. Screen is crystal clear (may be its new). The price is reasonable. May need to increase the speed of the Counters are slow including food counters. Good service of food counters if the menu orders are late to deliver to the seats.

The seats are very comfortable and you would definitely enjoy your movie. However please do not buy popcorn from the movie it is damn expensive. To put into the context it is more expensive than the ticket price. 🍿

Great cinema experience at this place. There are several theaters with a high tech sound and visual system together with comfortable and adjustable seats. Highly recommend this place to watch movies. The price are reasonable for the experience they offer. Also the food you order from restaurant inside the cineplex will be served to your seat.

The cinema experience is great. There are multiple theaters showing different movies Starts on different times. In the morning ticket price is lower and evening it higher as more people coming. seats are super comfy and they provide bottle of water and sheet to cover your self. Picture quality is not so spectacular but sound quality is good. food are served to the seats or you may get while you enter. prices are bit high but reasonable. I was charged 800 for avarage sized bucket of pop corn shown in picture. I think it is too high.

The theatre experience was amazing. I could say without any doubt that this is the legitimate way to watch a movie with your friends and family. It was a 100/100 for me from Super comfy adjustable seats to the delicious food they offer. Hoping to come back soon!
