One of the oldest outlet in Saibaba colony, very limited choice of Bed Sheets. But they maintain quality.

I grew up sleeping on Co Optex bed sheets and covering myself in their sheets. Washing the sheets makes them softer. These are local, handloom ethnic designs.It would be good to have matching pillows for the sheets. The prints and patterns are either geometric or chequred only. No solid colors available.Sarees are authentic hanoom even though the selection is not as much as some huge stores

Nice place for handloom fabrics. Government implements a Kanavu nanavu savings scheme saying that if we remit Rs.500 for 11 months, we can purchase cloths worth Rs. 8500. But they dont allow discount offers. Thus we get articles worth only Rs.6000. A misleading savings scheme.

A major retail outlet for the Tamil Nadu Handloom Co-operative Society popularly known as Co-Optex. This outlet is dealing in both handwoven and machine woven sarees. mens wear, many house hold clothings like durries, bed spreads, curtains etc. Almost all the items are of cotton except for the silk sarees and some specially woven mens wear. The workforce here is highly helpful who are different from the usual government employees one expects to see and interact. The show room has a very good collection of womens wear mens wear and all the house hold furnishing material. A place worth a visit for ones requirement during festive season.
