Dr. Rhoad has been my doctor of choice for issues with my hands. I have had trigger fingers and carpal tunnel syndrome. I also had tennis elbow treatment. I am currently getting help from Dr. Road for my right thumb as a result from a fall. The brace he suggested is very comfortable. It alleviates the sharp pains that happen when my thumb is not in the brace.Dr. Rhoad is an excellent doctor. He is smart, kind, smart and thorough. I have been seeing Dr. Rhoad for a couple of years. I have had 2 successful surgeries for my carpal tunnel release . I have also been treated for wrist pain which he is helping treat and resolve . He and his staff are extremely professional and very attentive to my needs. The office is extremely efficient and there is little wait time. Overall I am very happy with this practice.

Dr. Rhoad is one of the best physicians out there. 6 years ago he worked with my son who broke his wrist playing football. When I broke my thumb, I knew exactly which hand specialist I wanted to see. Dr Sorger sent me to Dr Rhoad to take over my case after I shattered my elbow and Dr Sorger did the surgery on it... I have never met such a kind gentleman...In fact the first thing I asked him was are you sure youre an orthopedic surgeon?... I went to Dr. Rhoad after a fall on my hand/wrist. I saw him twice and the injury wasnt getting any better. I asked about a MRI since the xrays didnt show anything and I could not rotate my hand/hold anything or open anything with my hand without pain. He said to me, if you were a professional baseball player, I would be more aggressive, but I will see you again in 3 weeks and it should be better. So, basically, my profession as a Registered Nurse doesnt require the use of my dominant hand and isnt as important as a pro baseball player. I went to another orthopaedic and had a MRI, my hand/ wrist is broken and in a cast. Thankfully, I didnt listen to Dr. Rhoad.

Dr. Rhoad treated a severe Right elbow injury 13 years ago a had to reattach tendons. I recently fell power walking and injured my arm again. They got me in the next day when I called Dr. Rhoads office. @ Ortho Cincy . I have an occult fracture, but everything appears to be still in place from the surgery 13 years ago. I should heal on my own but he will repeat a scan in 2 weeks . I am so Thankful for his knowledge and Love to help others to have a full life even after injuries.

Never had to meet with an orthopedic doctor before, but I can say for certain I would highly recommend Dr Rhoad especially if you have any kind of wrist or hand issues. I’m glad his office was my first call for an appointment

I have been going to Dr. Rhoad for over three years now. He has listened carefully to me and addressed my concerns with several options.

I had to have a minor nail bed surgery and he did a great job. He took great care in making sure all of my questions were answered.

Everything handled very efficiently. Staff was very nice. Dr. Rhoad provided excellent information about my condition and we agreed on a treatment plan. The office procedure (infection of a tendon sheath) went well with minimal discomfort.

Dr Rhoad repaired my ruptured biceps tendon last year. He was incredibly thorough in explaining the pros and cons of the surgery and the function of the biceps tendon. His professionalism, and bedside manner, are only outmatched by his skills as a surgeon. I was in a brace for about 6 weeks, and able to return to full functionality in 3 months.
