This is an authentic Pakistani / Indian / Halal restaurant. Their food is delicious and they have a large menu. I would recommend their beef seekh kababs and daal fry (lentils). They make fresh naan bread for you while you are there, sams is true for their BBQ items. I was not overly impressed by the interior but the place was clean. I would suggest carry out. That being said I would recommend this place.

Excellent seekh kabobs. They are freshly grilled with a taste of charcoal grill. Loved the freshness and texture of the meat.

Wow! Most authentic Pakistani bbq. Use real Tandoor to make it and their naan. This place is a gem!!!! Service was great too!

This is one of the best Pakistani/Indian restaurants anywhere! If you like this kind of food, try the frontier chicken rice, seekh kabobs, and tandoori chicken, with naan. Tremendous!

I was very excited to eat here. But the waiter (Wasif) was extremely rude, hot tempered, and unprofessional. We were seated and we left before the order could be placed. I’m a nice person and I’ve never walked out of a restaurant before in my life. This is the first time. Please do not visit this place until they replace their wait staff with people who know proper customer service. This is the first time I’m ever writing a restaurant review, because I feel this needs to be said.

The chicken was delicious, and the currys were enjoyable as well. The bread too was quite tasty.

Goat Qorma was rich and delicious .Garlic Naan is the best. Next time, I’ll tryA tandoori chicken.

Best restaurant in Devon for kababs & roti. My favorites at this place are - Chicken Seekh Kabab, Chicken Boti Kabab & Goat Chopsticks w/ Mint Sauce & Chapathi.NOTE: Their chapathis are so big.

First order as Appetizer was our chai . We ordered seekh kebab beef , karahi goat, garlic and butter . For takeaway chicken and goat biryani .The kitchen is open so you can see your food getting prepared. They are fairly clean . The only issue coming here is parking . Sunday especially parking is difficult. I recommend taking public transportation.overall i will give a 5 star for food

The food is a hit or miss. The owner is greedy and will serve you unfresh food to save money. I ordered pulao tray for takeout for $140 and all it had were oily rice and bones, no meat at all.

This place has literally been shut down for violating Chicago health code regulations. Well deserved in my opinion; food is mediocre and the staff is exceptionally entitled/stupid. Hope it stays closed.

Great bbq and veg dishes. Naan is more crispy than pillow like today. Broasted chicken was juicy and flavorful. Large portions so much to take home.

Food is okay, but employees are unprofessional particularly the front desk. They should hire more customer friendly staff. The couple guys who make the naan bread are very friendly though. Food is pricey compared to the nearby restaurants.

Mediocre service, but excellent kebabs. We went for a big family lunch and they took a while to bring out the food, and seldom checked to see when a dish was out, or more naan or drinks were needed. All the kebabs were juicy and flavorful as was the karahi chicken.

The food used to be a lot better from years ago. It still is pretty solid and worth the try. The kabobs are pretty good and so is the chana masala. Kheer was definitely the highlight this time around. Maybe my expectations grew over time and it did not meet them. I still recommend others to give it a try due to the food being solid enough.

Boti Kabab and Murg chole are must try and I would definetely recommend going to Khan Barbeque. This place is not so expensive and offer wide variety of barbeque items. Usually there is no waiting.

Always the best experience. They never disappoint me. Everything we have tried from Khan BBQ so far was super delicious. Do try their seekh kababs(beef), Goat Korma, Chicken karahi and Bihari kababs. Basically, all of their BBQ items are right on point. That tilwalay naans takes me back to Paki Land.

Was in the city after almost 3 years and had a craving for Indian bbq.My wife and I decided to takeout Khan BBQ since our experience there back in 2011 was memorable.Food is fantastic! Awesome BBQ! We ordered Lamb Chops, bihari kabob and chicken kabob.

Mutton karahi was tasteless. Chicken seekh kabab was very good. Biryani was ok. Kheer was good.

This is definitely the best place in Devon avenue. The food was absolute yum and the portion size was huge. We ordered frontier rice, sheekh kabab, chicken tandoori, goat meat, chhole murg and what not! And everything was super yum. They served the food quickly and all of them were fresh. The place was clean and the staff was super friendly. Also, pretty economic. Must visit if you are in town.

If you want try fresh live barbecue this is the place.

Food is good but not tasty

I ordered Chicken Palao (rice dish) yesterday and there were eaten chicken bones tossed in my to- go order. So disgusting. Dirty place..never again.

If I could I would give this 0 stars. Below all the good comments are owners friends, it took about 25 minutes before we got our food. Then they didn’t give us the right food. Me and my family realized that the glasses were horrible. We could see black dots and dust. And when a was finished I had to go to the bathroom it was horrible. The blow dryer barely works. When I came back I got a stomach ache. Later on we got the bill, the receipt was not a printed but written receipt, they added tips along, and we had to force them to give us a real receipt, when they brought us the receipt it was full of lies we didn’t even order those food. They are begging for the money. Would rather kill myself than go here again.

I went there of my friends recommendation . I drove 90 miles with family (from milwaukee to chicago) for some good desi food. By God Khan BBQ disappointment me so much . Prices are high. Cappli kabab (beef) is so dry and skinny. ( it supposed to be juicy) broost chiken & naan 👎. Only i like little chiken seekh kabab. This was my first & last visit.

This spot is my favored. I visit plenty of restaurants but here I constantly return again and again. The stuff is very friendly and the cooking they offer is so good. I am always happy to have a nice meal here. I highly recommend this place.

Okay, so let me share my experience, been there a couple of times, the food was good but not the best. Why they don’t give computerized receipts and everything hand written. It’s a big restaurant chain and also upon checking they told me that they already added the gratuity after tax on the receipt. I was gonna give them tip anyway, but after re-evaluating the charges he told me he already added that. Bathrooms are not in good condition. Won’t go there again.

Deliciously good at most times. Off beat on some occasions. Definitely go for the barbecue. Bihari kebabs are best in Devon or maybe in Chicago. Nice ambience and huge place.

Got charged $25 dollars for onion rings for a $15 all you can eat meal last Ramadan. Their food was pretty bad. Go if you wanna get scammed

Food is okay. K BBQ doesnt taste as great as it used to. I will say this though, whenever we go they treat us great.

Bad food, horrible service, over priced. Went for iftar buffet, but was told that tea was additional at checkout. Waiting staff were discourteous and the food was horrendous. They apparently used canned vegetables for sabzi, stale mince meat for keema biryani and all dishes were seemingly made in a hurry. I would not go again and definitely not recommend it.

The kebabs here are what you expect when you think skewers of meats roasting on an open fire. You can taste the spices, quality/quantity of beef in the mix, the right consistency. The owner is friendly and has been at it a long time now. Cant go wrong here...

I had lunch here this Monday when I visited Chicago. The food is pretty good. Palak Gosht and Chappli Kabab are delicious. Their serving sizes are quite big and I love that. The only reason why I’m giving this restaurant only 2 stars is because of the cleanliness issues. The waiter touches the mask he is wearing all the time to adjust and don’t wash the hand but touch plates with the same hand. That’s dirty and unsafe.

Would give this horrid restaurant 0 stars. Absolutely the worst restaurant I have ever been to and there is no sanitation whatsoever. The staff treated me and my family very rudely the whole time we were there; it took them 2 hours to even get a plate of naans out onto the table! Do not even get me started on the dirty chai which is just water and COLD. They gave us old meat and it tasted rancid. Overall, I would say I am not at all happy with my experience here and hope they stop ripping people off.

Nice place for family dining. The staff is good and helpful. It is easier to communicate if you know Urdu or Punjabi. They are able to accommodate large groups, the service is fast on weekdays, and the food is pretty good. It is good idea to let the management know that you want the grilled chicken well done.

Very bad, charged us a lot more money of things we didn’t even purchase. They over price a lot. They didn’t want to give us the receipt and we had to force them to give us the receipt. Then they gave us a false receipt and wouldn’t give us the right receipt. They lied and overcharge. The food wasn’t even that good and the cups were dirty. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.

I went with my family and the food was horrible and my brother even threw up after. They charged extra for no reason and didn’t give us a receipt. I don’t recommend this place for anyone.

Very good food!

The service was good. The exposed kitchen was an interesting feature of the front room. We got three dishes: frontier chicken, goat curry, and beef kabob ( if I had to drop one it would be the frontier chicken, but it was also the least expensive, soon...). All three were excellent. Prices arent as inexpensive as indicated, but they were pretty typical ( especially given the quality of the food). I also got the kashmiri tea. It was very good but a very subtle flavor. Drink options are pretty good and include descriptions. I would recommend going here, and will definitely return.

Tried this place once with a friend and I am addicted ever since. I loved the fantastic ambience and yummy dishes and beverages. I recommend this place.

Great Food. I still go there every time I visit Chicago

The food was good but I am giving three stars because of its service. My order was a pick up and I had ordered 4 different entrees. Upon picking up the food the order had an extra entree, and duplicate entrees. Then, no salad, napkins and cutlery. I mean I was fine with the extra entree n duplicate entree but at least have a courtesy putting some napkins.

Everything was fantastic, right from the appetizers to the desserts.What left me an extremely bad impression of them was how they tried to charge me extra while billing me. The waiter was trying to rush me up with payment so I could not look into the bill properly. It was lucky that I did. First of all, they added a gratuity charge even though we were a party of 4. Gratuity is usually added if you are in a party of 6 or more. Then I also noticed that prices on the bill were different than that on the menu. On top of that, the total was inflated by around $10.What had been a great meal had suddenly become a disappointment. Good way to lose customers by trying to make a few extra bucks guys.

I wish to give them minus rating, order kabab and got hairs in the kabab. And the great manager didnt even said sorry and let me pay the bill for the food that I didnt ate at all.

I really like the kabob here. It has a nice large dining area. The staff are fairly polite and nice. The decor is what I can only describe as a high end, third world, restaurant. Id go back once in a while.

Delicious food, right pricing and friendly staff. Water pitcher and some objects floating and upon requesting we were served new water pitcher. Service can be faster and improved.

Food was very tasty and service was good. When the bill came, not only were 4 items more expensive than in the menu they were rounded up to the next dollar. The kicker was the tax. Tax was calculated at 20%! It was fixed when brought to their attention but more care should have been taken to give a correct bill. Check before you pay!

Some of the best Desi food Ive had in Chicago. Authentic cuisine in a super down to earth no frills restaurant. There may be a bit of a wait but I promise its worth it, they are making and grilling your food to order. When ever my parents come to visit I take them here. Anything grilled is amazing, homestly I havent tried much else off the menu. They specialize in grilled desi food. Highly recommend.
