Our visit to La Woods Hotel was an awesome expereince the food and the atmosphere and staff were great. It was like a home away from home The staff is very friendly and accommodating and you get the feeling of family. We have been at La Woods for a second time and will continue be going back because of the warm reception and also the perfect location in the heart of the city.

Our first time trip to India was for a friends wedding. It was a ten day trip with the first 3 days in Chennai. We were quite nervous traveling to India hearing about how chaotic public transportation is and getting  around.  However, from a friends referral of this travel agency,  we were quite impressed and happy that we used them. It was a worry free trip. The travel agency arranged an all inclusive hotel, personal driver to get around. On the first day, agency arranged a driver to pick us up with a sign with our name. Even though flight was delayed for two hours, driver was still waiting at the exit. Hotel they arranged was very modern and in great central location close to everything. Breakfast was included every morning. All the hotel hosts were very nice, helped us print tickets, calling driver, and asking if we have everything we need every morning. Personal driver picked us every morning and took us to where ever we wanted to go or any stop we wanted to make whether for lunch dinner shopping,etc. On days we did not have any itinerary driver took us to all the local site seeing spots, hop on and hop off with a van with wifi. We felt like VIPs traveling. Travel agency rep was extremely helpful. He helped us book restaurant for dinner, suggested attractions and made itinerary for different day. All this arrangementWas definitely worth it. Price would have have been even more if we booked everything on our own and this was all stress free. If we go to India again, will for sure use them again.

Had a brilliant trip 2019/2020. Welcome Tours played an important part with our holidays. Parthiben was extremely good with organizing the the places to visit. Parthiben also appointed a super cool driver, whom we extremely enjoyed traveling with. Arivin was a very careful and protective driver. A team of ten ladies from Canada recently completed a 16 day South India Tour with Welcome Tours and Travels Chennai PVT Ltd. Our Tour manager Mr. P.R. Vijay Nirmal planned and executed our tour with utmost care and professionalism at a very reasonable price with 4+ star hotels. We have requested multiple changes during our planning process and kept on adding temples and destinations. He was patient enough to accommodate all our needs and kept us informed of the status. On the day of our arrival, Welcome Tours and Travels MD Mr. S. Karunanidhi hosted dinner at his residence for our team and shared his past experience with temples and destinations and gave us some guidance on our tour. We covered almost all major South India temples with Special Dharshan and experienced the resorts in Kerala, including Blue Jelly House Boat, which is a one of a kind experience. In Kanyakumari, Vijay took us to his native village Nagarkovil and organized special Pooja at his village temple and hosted lunch at his residence. This is something we never expected and touched our hearts. It was an invaluable experience. For most of us this is the first visit to India and Vijay made us feel home in a foreign land. We were also blessed with an amazing driver Shanmugam, whose only objective was to keep us safe and happy. Vijay frequently followed up with the driver and us on our safety and status and guided Shanmugam accordingly. Towards the end of the trip, we were also given two drivers, Shanmugam and PK for local shopping which helped us optimize Chennai shopping time. We left Canada with a number of unknowns and returned with complete happiness and satisfaction. It was indeed a memorable trip with pleasant experiences. The team at Welcome tours were excellent to deal with. They arranged our 24 day trip around Rajasthan, Goa and Kerala within a few days of us sending through the request. The trip went so smoothly, we were met at every stop, the hotels were of great quality and the service was great. Our driver, Harpal, took very good care of us, was an incredible (and safe) driver and knew the roads really well. No request was too much for Harpal and we had a great time with him - he has a good sense of humour and was easy to talk to. We travelled with 3 children (ages 14,14 and 8) and they enjoyed the trip very much. I’d highly recommend Welcome Tours and Travels. Vijay was our contact and checked in on us regularly throughout the trip to make sure we were good and to see if we needed anything. India is an amazing place to visit and it was made even better by the team at Welcome Tours!

Having just returned from a very enjoyable and trouble-free twelve day road tour of Southern India, we would like to record our thanks and appreciation to Welcome Tours and Travels Chennai Pvt Ltd for their understanding and organisation of our requirements. In particular for providing a very knowledgeable, accommodating and reliable driver to transport us and administer to our needs.We (a couple and a single, all of Indian origin) booked a road tour of Southern India with Welcome Tours, commencing in Kochi and including Allepey, Thekkady, Velankanni, Pondicherry and concluding in Chennai. Negotiations were by e-mail and through WhatsApp calls and messages. Mr Vijay of Welcome Tours was always prompt and upfront in his response to our queries, and very helpful in constructing our itinerary; for example suggesting the hotels and a stop in Madurai (which we availed), to break and ameliorate the long road journey between Thekkady and Velankanni.On arrival at night in Kochi, we were met by our driver, Mr Nagapandi. His calm demeanour engendered confidence and trust and so it proved to be. He soon adapted to what we wanted to do, see and eat which made our return journey to India all the more memorable. At the same time all the hotels we stayed in were of a good standard and in some cases exceeded our expectations; for example the Raintree in Chennai. If there was a fault it would relate to scheduling in Allepey, where checkout after an overnight cruise is 9 am and check-in to a hotel could be as late as 2 pm.Our tour ended with the driver picking us up from the hotel in Chennai, transporting us to the train station and ensuring we were safely ensconced in our seats for the journey to Bengaluru where we had made private arrangements for our stay there.Just as we were recommended to Welcome Tours, we have no hesitation in doing the same to anyone or group who may be considering a holiday in India. Our trip was very fruitful due the the cooperation of the tour guide and driver in Orissa. They tour guide, Shanker was so dedicated and he tried to go extra miles in arranging everything so well as so the trip was very smooth and all of us in the group had good darshan of the Divine.

I had unpleasant trip due to the agency provided me with a Driver whom doesnt have experience and knowledge about the place we were travelling to. He spent most of the time asking the route and searching the way. To all travelers ensure to check on your driver before accepting one, and do avoid travel to India in month of Nov, Dec and Jan seems to high Peak season and they will provide lousy driver and might get cheated easily.
