Very poorly maintained, unhygienic and unsafe, I took my daughter today for gymnastics classes and was shocked to see the facility, the classes were conducted in a open ground which was not meant for gymnastics, old dirty unhygienic matress were used for children to practice, these matress were kept in open area exposed to rain etc.. The place designated for gymnastics was a room which was supposed to be womens fitness centre ( picture attached), no wonder I saw no woman there.... I didnt even dare to see the rest rooms.

A sportsmen paradise for a common middle order family guy like me. Theres separate ground for every sport. Some facilities like badminton court, canteen,etc. are not up to the mark I would say. But for a sports lover its a nice place to play and have fun.

Very good scenery and a very good place to conduct the yearly Book Fair.

Best place to visit week off

Yesterday I attended book fair 2020 here. A huge ground, with enough parking space, where u have to walk to the book fair. There were eatery shops, that welcome you. On right side, a dias for new book released, on left side Keeladi a new addition to Book fair, and the main book fair place, are things to visit. 700 stalls, 7 rows, three hours, gives you full insight of this exhibition. A place to visit in Chennai.

Came here for a football fundraising event with CRY and Oracle.I haven’t seen all the playing grounds and sports facilities in Chennai but this place surely has to be one of the best. There’s multiple football fields, basketball courts, badminton, track, etc. And everything is well maintained.Recommend coming here.

In this place only we have book fair every year... Ground was so big...It was a good place to spend time with your family and friends during the book fair..

We attended an event called village ticket.. Everything is good

Very big area and i recently visited for book fair on 28th Feb21. Ample of parking space for both 2-wheelers and cars. Toiletry facility is good. But one bad things is that google map has showed wrong route which ended somewhere near to YMCA. Later we got the correct route but not with the help of google map

Be ready to smell the stench of koovam , DONT eat full n come over here !! U may vomit !! After the show started I was smacking around mosquitoes , better bring medicated oil to avoid this pest ! I got bitten by them till date scratching my leg 😅 only for local peoples outside peoples like me may find weird to see peoples enjoying coffee in the strong stench of koovam some even eat 😲 how is it possible??Next time I will bring face mask and medicated oil 👍

Tournaments, music events, cultural programs and book fairs are being conducted here. A big space with good parking facility. Located near to Saidapet. There is a school as well nearby belongs to this group. Best place to conduct any event.

A great ground with lot of peoples accommodated for the Chennai Marathon 2020 participation. Around 15000 peoples were at the location.

It is a sprawling ground in the middle of the city. There are people playing football, cricket and practicing athletics. You feel young and energetic when you come here.

Good place to visit very frankly telling. They have good space for all the games but they dont have space for bat Minton I mean indoor space they dont have the ground where they play it, is not covered though. Apart from this site is located inside very much from the main area I feel we found difficult to find out even, but without map I felt like it was running

43rd Bapasi Chennai Book Fair.Like every year this year also was great.Lots of book stalls.over 600 Stalls this time too.Happened at the Festival Holiday month of January 2020With popular Publishers hosting their Stalls with writers appearances and Author fan boy moments.Signature and Photographs with authors.Everyday evening some book launches events along with familiar celebrities and Food stalls for Food hunger too.I bought Books for about 3000 this time. It was an absolute experience Roaming with carrying Book Bags with some light Shoulder pain and leg pain.

I went here for village ticket . Which was grandly organized in this ground . The ground was so big it might be the biggest ground in chennai . I liked that have been done while the village tickets 2020 fest .

Huge place in the heart of the city with various sports activities which includes cricket , football , swimming , badminton , athletics , Golf , boot camp , yoga classes and morning walkers and jogger’s are spotted in ample .You’ll have to attain a membership to walk or Jog in their premises by paying a nominal annual fee . And the rest of the activities has its own fee .Peaceful place to begin your day with .

A very professional out space for out door games...amazed with the maintenance and the people who flow in for their various interests in games. Need to prebook for any game to conduct.

Access to Ground is quite far from road. Chennai Marathon started from here but starting point was not maintained properly need to check

It is a very famous place in Nandhanam.it is well connected to the Nandhanam metro,in walkable distance.the annual Chennai book fair is being held in YMCA ground,there are a lot of activities organised in this ground. It is very very spacious with a separate parking lot for two wheeler and four wheelers.

Visited Tamil village festival (village fest). Very poorly organized and with an entry cost of 200rs it looks even more bad. Safety was very poor with kids allowed to enter dangerous ring zone. There was not even one green stall with plants or seeds. Leaving the display of traditional music instruments and farm land in remote corner, there is nothing village about this. Most food items had inflated prices.

A sprawling ground at the heart of Chennai. There is no practical count of the number of champions produced from this ground. It is also used for other major events like Book Fair. Easily accessible from all parts of Chennai.

The ground z located near nandanam signal itself. Easily traceable location. The ground is not too big. Its average in size. The place looks good from outside but inside its badly maintained

Very famous playground among city youngsters.. Outsiders are allowed to play without any restrictions.. The same ground will be share by multiple cricketing teams simultaneously.. Crowded on weekends by local players..

Very good place to play games and sports. Im staying near to YMCA ground and I go running regularly in that ground. It has gym also. The management organizes an events and book fair and other sports like football, volleyball, hockey, badminton, tennis,swimming etc.

Recently , I went here for a book show ,this place has big open space and playgrounds for various sports , well maintained , more trees are there, one can surely see a disconnect from city when entering this place .
