During group check-in, rooms were not ready. Our guest waited for an hour for rooms. Even nobody asked for water. Room service is pathetic. They dont pickup phone. Took half an hour for water bottles in room. Same day laundry service not available to iron blazer. In buffet lunch, salad was rotten, flies in ice cream, chicken of biryani was half boiled. Never suggest anybody. I doubt how it is called as five star hotel

Excellent hotel with excellent location located at the city OMR Chennai ,extremely clean & comfortable . Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the friendly reception staff ,she makes our trip more interesting with her advices & tips about the city ,supermarket ,shops,restaurants are within walking distance. l would definetely recommend this hotel to everybody! Its a true sample of excellent facilities.The pool is very good which is located in the 5 th floor so that we can enjoy the city view from the top.The rooms are well cleaned and more spacious. Then the hotel price is included with all the meal , its a great deal for the customers .But the restaurant staffs are not that much friendly and their service also very poor.Thank you again Front office staffs for going just that little step extra for the guests!!! I will certainly be staying here again.

It was very pleasant stay here.They have very delicious food which can cater both north and south indians liking.. only drawback they have very limited services like nobody will come and pick ur car and will open gate for u.. but that really doesnt matter bcoz the things u really care like food, comfortable stay, friendly staff and good ambience are all perfect here. Surely will recommend everyone to come and stay here.. great job team elite.

The hotel was nice & the rooms were clean & neat with wooden flooring and spacious.. Customer service was very good. The restaurant had quiet good ambience and food was delicious even though it had less number of varieties.. Altogether it was a pleasant stay there!!!

-Spend almost 20 nights.-Hotel is located in Main road, easily accessible.-Purushotham is very helpful at front office.-Rooms are not much grand but good and well maintained. Housekeeping floor incharge Bala Krishnan is very polite and desent guy. Knows his job.-Big swimming pool on rooftop. Gym not yet opened.-Coming to restaurant part..All the staff pampered us with the varieties of food and guesture. I dont say that it is a huge spread but desent and one should taste each and every dish over there. In the 20 days stay, never had any issues regarding food. All the credit goes to Supervisor Satish, Restaurant Executive Ram, Banquet Executive Karthik, Trainee Executive Dili, On-job Trainee Ravi, Abhilash and Chefs Tamil & Ashok.Executives Ram and Karthik are very professional, even though both have become very close but never crossed their limits. My sincere appreciations to both of them.Live counter for omlet & dosa for breakfast and salad section for all 3 meals was properly taken care by Kamesh.Special thanks to Chef Tamil for preparing Vere level Biriyani.Lijin has to improve his hospitality towards guests particularly when standing at Live-counters.-Room service not available.--There happened some misunderstanding while booking the room and the issue was not properly handled by Mr Balaji and Padmanaban. Particularly there is no courtesy for Padmanaban to say sorry for the misunderstanding happened. I wanted to remind Mr Balaji and Padmanaban that a person working for hotel industry should never think that they are doing favour to the guest and should plant in mind that they are there to give service.I would have given 5-stars but this issue grabbed out a star.Overall the stay was value for money. Apart from this issue, it was a great stay at THE ELITE GRAND.

Amazing hotel with peace. Good food with good service. Although its costly it have its own reputation in the city because of its service, maintenance and food. Both north and south indian people can have the food. its almost like a multicuisine restaurant with buffet. There is a swimming pool on terrace. Over all its best and near to sipcot.

The worst 5 star hotel I have ever stayed at.. I have seen some 3 star hotels better than this.. the rooms are old.. bathrooms are not at all up-to the 5 star standards.. I regret my decision to stay here.. please never stay here

Stayed at The Elite grand for a holiday trip at Chennai. The team at The Elite is an asset. In an era where theres no value for courtesy and customer service, the team at The Elite exhibits all the values of customer centercity. Starting with the executive chef Mr Nilesh and Kartik, Shyam, executive housekeeper with all the staff members in the restaurant. They are full of love and warmth. We had a pleasant stay with every tiny request considered. Consistent service checks, and immediate action on feedback shared is what I was surprised to experience.Rooms are comfortable and cozy. The food is great. Must have the sambar and the coffee.

Been here for a week now and am very happy. Service is very friendly, helpful & fast. The whole hotel is very clean and all the food has been great. Room service is quick, cleaning is thorough. Overall experience thus far is great. Staying another week before headed back to the US, hope to see more of the same.

Breakfast had a good selection of options. Hotel is well located. Wide variety of South Indian cuisines and multiple options each morning. Prices are reasonable. The bedsheets and towel were very clean. The room service & house keeping is very very quick. We would definitively return on our next trip.

Rooms are big and staff is friendly. Food is quite good even if I dont like indian food much.I miss power outlet near bed to make work in bed or charging phone possible.Also, central control of all lights in room is no win. When you want to find something in closet, you have to go to your bed first.Worst of all was shower. You have to wait whole eternity until water is warm to get a shower. Then it is warm, never hot.To sum this up: I have seen much worse 5* hotels, but also much better.

Really great place and worry free service. Had visited Asiana on 2 occasions, one with family and the other to arrange a corporate event. Both times I had found the staff to be extremely accommodative and pleasant. Had experienced the dinner buffet with the family and the menu was excellent (both vegetarian and non vegetarian) and so was the ambience. And not to forget great value for money. For the corporate event, had booked the Asiana hall and by far was the best offer available across OMR. The food menu for the corporate event though was not up to the mark, wished there would have been more non vegetarian dishes on the menu.But overall a great place for a dinner once in a while to get that 5 star experience without burning a hole in your pocket.

We work in the IT Park at Siruseri close to this hotel. The location is a little out of town but was reasonably handy for where I was working. On the whole - the place was very clean. The buffet breakfast offer a sufficient variety of intercontinental and local choices.

Non veg was a disaster I must say. Veg food was fine it seems.There were 2 varieties of chicken dry/starters, both lacked taste and I felt they werent completely cooked like they should be.Desserts was another disappointment. There were many which were eye pleasing but didnt look tasty. Fruits were in a small glass cup??? I expect a lavish fruit serving in * hotels.. overall, I was greatly disappointed with the dinner buffet.

A very good hotel on OMR, with clean, comfortable and luxe rooms. The large convention hall is pretty good. Almost 500 people were comfortable hosted at this convention hall, with four events spread over two days, without a glitch! Impressive.

Stayed there for couple of days. Loved the room and the ambience. The con being nothing nearby. Good place of you are only using it for business. It has good restaurants.

The ambience was good but not what one would call great. Did not stay here and so cant really comment about the quality of service. Was here only for a lunch buffet. At ₹950, the buffet is more on the costlier side. But the quality (or rather taste) of food did not justify the price. You cant call the food bad. It just wasnt worth the price.Vegetarian was really good. The chefs must take bonus points there. But non-veg was disappointing. Being a fish lover, I tried the two varieties of them. Unfortunately it failed to set my taste buds on fire. Chicken and mutton were so, so. Even the ever-good-tasting Biriyani was lacking. The desserts were good though. Overall, a not-dissatisfying experience.

Very nice hotel to stay outside of Chennai. The fitness center is better than most other hotels Ive stayed at in Chennai, and the 3 restaurants are all quite good.My only complaint, and Im stretching here, is their iron and ironing boards. They are archaic and pretty much useless.

Ive been to Asianas restaurant a couple of times. I enjoyed the buffet dinner. Their service is very good. Slightly overpriced, but considering the profile of the customers who stay there, they do not mind pricing so.
