Worst service ever. One arrogant guy shouted at me when I asked him a question and then told wrong things like ask VFS for Visa related queries when. I wanted to know what Visa I should take and this is what they told me. vFS was like This doesnt come under our purview, have to ask the Embassy. Every single guy is one arrogant guy.
World Worst Service [ WWS ] Thai VISA service in Chennai deserves. Tipical Indian arogance at all levels but the counsel. Shame.
Itll be little difficult to get the clear information through phone but if you spend some time you can get the clear details. Always ask for alternative solutions.
Why your embassy is demanding 1 year travel insurance ( no agency on earth give more than 180 days ) for a short term visit visa of less than 1 month ? Donβt you think before you set rules ?

No proper updates from them. If we call for updates they answering rudely . If asked VFS for update they saying that they didnt get any update from consulate. I dont understand why paying money for mobile updates.

Very slow service, better shutdown the office from Chennai. Such a poor service
I called them a few times - they say call back after sometime after going through the usually painful IVR process. Later the concerned person was not on seat. Then I called them at 4.54 pm the IVR says office is closed and office hours are 9 am to 5 pm etc. Then the line gets transferred to security who tells me to call embassy not him! Highly inefficient office and cannot clarify anything. It is a contrast to Thai culture. Shame on our arrogant and lazy Indian staff! When are we going to change our attitude? Hope the Thai consular can do something to change at least his office.

Have been trying to call the consulate for one hour gets past IVR and selects 1 for visa info. The phone rings for couple of rings and the operator hangs up the phone. Woooww soo much for assistance just bloody remove the hot line number if no one has time to answer any questions. Bloody rude to hang up, just pick the bloody phone and advise to call back later.
