COVID19 actuated me to buy the car. I have bought the TATA NEXON based on performance and safety features. Before the actual delivery I was checking for Good Driving School for Hands ON practice, although having a Driving license did not drived the car much.Based on the Reviews have chosen Maruti driving School at Kottivakkam for both myself and my wife. Theory and Simulation session were handled by Govindarajan and Prabhakaran sirs respectively, both provided valuable inputs.All the 10 practical classes were handled by SUBRAMANI Sir for both of us, and I felt very comfortable from day one. In-fact after 4th Class itself got tremendous confidence of handling the car, Subramani sir had a unique way of providing training by giving full freedom and finding out one’s weakness at the early stage and rectifying the same in the stipulated Classes itself. Do not choose this driving school if you are planning for just touch up when you already have license (they call it as advanced course)They don’t treat you regular neither you would get proper schedules, you will get slot only when someone cancels their regular class in an odd hour and even for that you have to follow up like anything.Trainers who had taken the classes for me were really goodRegardless this place is good for new learners and those who wants to get fresh license.

I joined Maruti Suzuki Driving school in mid September 2019..after reading the reviews and it lived upto its expectations. Initially, I had a fear of driving a car on road, even if I would have known driving. But after learning from Govindaraj sir, I overcame my fear. He will scold you, he will be slightly rude but it is for your good. He is really a very sweet person from heart. Everything is so systematic that you will gain much confidence while driving. Very good driving school. Recommended because it had simulator practice before going to on road. They will properly followup for the simulator & on-road schedules.During on-road classes, Few trainers are hurry to finish the classes & mostly they will control the car so you wont feel that you are actually driving.For final 4 classes GovindhaRaj sir came as trianer to me and he just explained & teached almost everything within the time (like U-turn, reverse, traffic signal handling, indicator / lane change). Overall he will filled confidence in driving.Finally, I got cleared license test easily 😊

Today I got my license succesfully in very first attempt. I can drive any car with full confidence. Govindharajan sir is very good instructor and he will teach with understandable manner. Waste of money waste of time better to learn from another school from personal experience. 7000 rupees and I had to run behind their representative in license test who pretend like I am invisible. Kept me waiting in hot sun for like 3 hours in the morning that too on weekday by cutting office time until they finally came and later faced complete ignorance. Afterwards office person asked to wait in hot sun when I couldnt clear and had to run behind their car which was parked miles away and their representative confused me saying stop start accelerate in junction. Till now no one called to reschedule. Also I am completely astonished why they asked me to stand in hot sun even after the test. Refund the amount. Better is some government office. Rude and irresponsible.

Very good driving School, they have simulators,theory and then they have the live sessions. Govindaraj Sir was trainer for me, he was strict but that helped me out in getting the license. Highly recommend him if you are planning to get the licence.

Over priced... Very costly. They are charging 7K for class alone and we need to pay 2K extra for license. But their coaching is good. They even have simulator.

If you want to learn driving with confidence, please don join here.1) Theory classis nice but you can have that only during weekends.2) Simulator- totally 3 hours, you have to do it on your own and there will not be any instrctor for that. They have only one simulator and its very hard to accommodate their timings for working people.3) You cannot have continuous session here. The timings are based on instructor availability. Start of every month they will book the calendar.

Have registered a grievance 1889751 as below was my experience . provide the refund as i dont like to be cheated-after attending coaching session for four wheeler training, and also gave application for learners license , which i was charged more than Rs.7000 which included 4 wheeler training and license charges, asked to book license test which was on 14th Feb 2018. upon enquiring the address i need to go for the license test noone was helping. the reception lady and the guy seated in the office was very rude and reluctant in answering any questions but upon reaching the driving test venue early at 8.30 am which was also misinformed to me by the office people because the driving test started only around 12 pm . as time passed the driving school representive was not picking up the call and if picked up not replying or responding and by 12 pm he came and he completely ignored me and even acted like he cant hear me. when i called office and asked what to do as this was my first driving test they asked to simply stand there and when i followed their representive finally he talked to me and told the test will only start at 12.30pm. i was sitting very near where their car was parked but when crowd dissolved by 12.20 pm i went in search and couldnt find anyone nor the representative. i called office people again who told to stand there itself. after standing there for another 20 minutes in the sun their vehicle passed by and after parking around 700 meters away their representative asked to run and come. after waiting in hot sun for like 3 hours and runnning for another 700 meters to take the test i was exhausted and i started the car well but the representative asked to change the gear and accelerate when a cycle was passing and right in front a car was crossing and it was a junction. because representative told to change gear and rto shouted at me to stop and i was already made to run and stand in hot sun my leg shaked and car jerked and stopped. i was declared fail and i was made to get out of the car. after calling the office they again asked to stand in the hot sun checking whether their car is passing by. their car passed by but didnt stop so i left the place in ola cab and later asked them to refund my amount as i underwent physical exhaustion because of them and even after that day they didnt call to reschedule the test and when i called they demanded another additional amount of 2000+ rupees to take the test again.

If youre really concerned on learning and tweaking your driving skills then this the right driving school, special was surprised to see they teach you on basic mechanics which other dont we bother to teach and the simulation class is added advantage before you hit the road class , special mention to trainer Govindarajan sir who was very patient barring all my mistakes and extremely helpful to learn what I wanted to.. I was even wondering how he doesnt angry :-) ... Be careful about choosing instructors, not all are good. Go with Ravi, he will teach u driving along with car, i think he only teach u that driving is not just about ability to drive on road... Negotiate the price, i thought they are not like others...I paid around 7k just for 4wheeler driving along with license...there are people got it done by 5k

Theory classes were good and in-depth. Practical classes were good and the instructors were very friendly. I would mention the names like Subramani and Rajesh who really helped me a lot to get rid of the road fear.But they need to plan the class timings according to the number of students. I had to wait long to finish my 10 practical classes. I think the capacity should be understood.Otherwise I had nice and friendly experience. I do recommend maruti driving school.

One of the best driving school in Chennai. Unlike other driving schools, Maurti driving school will have only one person for on-road training and we can learn for 50 mins a day for 10 days. This is one of the good option where we get to learn to drive exclusively well. They also have simulation classes before getting into on-road training for 3 days.Mr. Govindarajan was my instructor and he was very kind enough to teach me how to drive on my own with his own tips from his experience. I know some instructors will control the clutch and break and make us feel like we drive good. But Govindarajan doesnt do that and he really made me to drive on my own where I got the confidence to drive in the Chennai roads especially OMR.One negative point I would say about Maruti Driving School is that it is very difficult to get slots because of the too much crowd. So I would suggest to have 1 or 1.5 months to learn driving and get license.It is totally a value for money you spend for learning to drive. I would recommend all my friends to join Maruti driving school blindly if they want to drive with confidence.
