I took up, GMAT preps to crack ISB-YLP. The environment at IMS is nothing Ive seen before. Mentors like Jaydev sir, Pavitra Maam have been an extreme support system to me. Sir, has helped me through every up and low and has always welcomed a conversation. Kudos to them and Mr Kundan sir, from admissions team from IMS Mumbai, I am aiming to qualify the second round of ISB-YLP. Words are short to express my gratitude towards Kundan sir. I have scored 97.6 percentile in XAT and have converted XIMB. IMS prepares a student for not just acing CAT and other B-school exams but for getting an admit in one of the top B schools. The modules and study materials are very good and the mocks are very close to the actual exam. The mentors guide the students well and help the students in every aspect right from preparation to analyzing mocks to GDPI. On the whole, IMS was a very rewarding experience and I would definitely recommend it to all CAT aspirants.

As I started my prep for GMAT, I realised I needed professional coaching. As I was unsure about which of the various coaching centres would be best for me, I decided to personally visit the centres and selecting IMS was an easy choice. From the very first day when I went there to enquire about the classes, the staff ensured that all my doubts were cleared and I was satisfied and impressed with the knowledge and the attitude of the staff there. IMS Learning Resources is a great way to prepare for POST GRAD entrance examinations. The sole reason that drove me join IMS was the Guarantee they give for your admission . If you dont get the college of your choice the current academic year you are entitled to get coaching free for the next academic year. Once joined, I realised why IMS was rated highly.Pros:1) They work in an organised manner. You will get your weeks schedule at least 3 days before the beginning of the week.2) The materials and resources are the result of continuous filtering over the years. These materials and methodological teaching gives you the necessary confidence to face the examination.3) Flexibility at the centre which allows you to seek compensation for the missed classes.4) Faculties: At least one faculty handling each section are available at the centre at any given point of time.5) Faculties: The teaching methodologies and one on one mentoring with students at regular intervals help the students to monitor themselves and correct themselves.6) Centre is open for students throughout the day from 10 AM to 8 PM to prepare at the centre which provides a great environment for learning.7) Front End Office: Very friendly office staffs make the environment better suited for learning.8) SIMCATs: The proctored mock tests offers us an experience of CAT+ level questions making it easy for us to take up CAT.9) WORKSHOPS: The set of 15 workshops on various topics across all the three sections spaced out 2 per week gives you the insight on patterns of questions that have been asked regularly at CAT.10) ADMAT Practice: The materials and support for Management exams other than CAT are also provided. The materials are in the form of Mock Tests and Exhaustive Workshops on those exams.11) PRE-CAT: Mock exam which emulates the procedure of CAT, starting from Bio-metric process, UI that is being provided by CAT and allocation of centre like CAT. This makes students aware of the process of CAT on the exam day saving them some energy and making them feel relaxed.12) Communication: This might be the least noted point by all of us but it plays a major role of keeping us informed of the classes or workshops that have scheduled specially for that week. Question of the day is also being shared daily and acts as a medium to communicate with the rest of the people studying at the centre.13) Not but not the least, the constant tracking of students, contacting them if they are not regular to the class to know the genuine reason behind their absence are all additions which the centre is not compelled to do but still they do.Overall: I would suggest this is a great place to start learning especially if you are a fresher who wants to prepare for entrance exam full time. The reason I mention fresher is that they can take leverage of all the benefits mentioned above.

I am joining IIM Ahmedabad (PGP- 2018-2020) and converted calls from B,C,L,K & I, and I largely owe IMS Adyar for this.I have been associated with IMS Chennai (Adyar Center) for the past two years. They have been supportive throughout my CAT preparation. I especially was aided by the SIMCATs (Mock tests of IMS) ,their variety helped me to be face any surprises that CAT might throw. Finally the National Achievers workshop was the shot in the arm for me to ace by WAT-GD-PI rounds. I highly recommend IMS for CAT aspirants.
