This is a lovely place with active customers.The place ia located in the heart of city and nearby Kodambakkam railway station.It has a restaurant, function hall as well as a bar.The place is famous for it being one of the oldest hotel in Kodambakkam.Rooms are spacious, comfortable and has a decent view of small temple in the main road.

I wish I had taken some photos inside but i was just so busy enjoying spacious room. Simple yet elegant. If you are looking for luxury, it isnt here but everything else is. Clean and neat room with all amenities, breakfast and room service is wow. Car Parking, bar everything available here. Very affordable even if in hub of city. Very close to nearest railway station and a lot of food joints including subway and dominos just at arms length. Complete contrast to my Mumbai visit 2 days back. Thank you very much. Loved Chennai

The tariff of 800 rupees was quite prestigious...The charm of this hotel should hv been retained in these years.Located in a lively n lovely commercial n residential area.U got saravana bhavan hotel also near by... But the waiting time was high when v went fr a cup of coffee in the late after noon time

I have been to their Bar. It was decent before. The crowd which use to come was decent. But this time I had a very bad experience. Lot of local people inside and they even had a fight inside with other people and totally it was a mess. I just finished my drink at the earliest and left the place. I will think more than 5times now if I need to go to this place.

Worst experience! I wonder how this hotel would be a three star hotel. see the pictures which I have taken the room which we stayed. I didnt take the bathroom taps even worse. we literally scared to touch those switches. if we try switch-on any light, TV gets distrubance with a big whoosh sound and the whole room become dark for a second. I even gave feedback about these while we checkout, one big lady at reception told menangala kasu vangurom(means, she dont take money so she cant help). ..reply I ever got at any hotel, even she didnt give me restaurant bills. Please dont choose this one.

This rating due to poor response and poor services, I asked for water bottles they responded after 45 minutes where as I went outside and bought. In room dining order also takes more than 30 minutes. Location of hotel is good and accessible to all areas.

The rooms are very clean and tidy. The hotel was located at a major location so it makes easy accessible for everything. Not any restriction and the staffs are friendly. Rooms are sapacious.

Reception could be improved, decent and clean rooms with few amenities with makes it worth to be here. Just 5minutes walk from kodambakam Railway Station. Job interviews are conducted here often by different consultancies for abroad placements.

I am not selecting any of the above at this point of time, as i have checked in just 30 minutes back and the service quality experience which i faced at front desk was very poor. The first thing any new customer experience while entering the premises is the warm welcome and smooth check-in, any failure in this would eventually spoil the entire stay experience no matter what happens after that. The staff here needs basic training on etiquette and conflict management skills with customer. Also the hotel need to bring in more transparency on escalation hierarchy especially after office hours where the regular management staffs might have left for home. In case anyone from the hotel would like to hear about the list of failure modes, they can reach out to me.

Room is neat courteous staff,food is good. Good parking facility. Only minus is their complementary break fast,they always say that restaurant is under renovation and food is served in the basement room and the room is so small you wont get place even to stand!

Value for money, although I say that because we managed to grab a pretty neat discount on the rates. Clean room and toilet, TV with an actually working subscription, nice food at the adjacent restaurant. Glitch: Lady monitoring the phone for room service orders is either incompetent, or inefficient, or just plain rude, or some combination of all of them. Instead of taking the trouble of trying to comprehend somebody speaking in plain English, she decides to hang up the phone. TWICE. Although promptly addressed by floor manager with profuse apologies, it left a sour taste on an otherwise enjoyable stay.

Stayed here for almost 2 weeks. Overall a very pleasant experience. The price was fine and the service was excellent. The complimentary breakfast was just phenomenal. Going from the US, I was initially skeptical and must say the hotel surprised us. Just couple of issues -- internet service is very slow and watch out for mosquitoes. I recommend you take off like products.

The worst hospitality one can face visiting the hotel bar. Everybody are rude including the supervisor. Dont ever visit this place if you expect good service. If I have options I would rate zero star for this place. Never ever I would recommend this place for anybody.

I have been a regular guest in this hotel for about 9 years. Their services have always been good.. The staff are very courteous. Food is excellent. Manager Mrs Pushpalatha, Reception are staff Mr. Giri are excellent..

Very down marker bar, though its named pub. Good bunch of people serving you limited range of drinks, highly noisy place. Most horrible thing is cockroaches keep running around all over, tables, chairs, sofas and even your food. Gives a creepy feeling. Drinks are reasonably priced.

Decent Hotel in Kodambakam , what I like about this hotel is that , I always used block the room over phone just few hrs before reaching chennai and they always used to have rooms available . They provide 24 Hr check in check out . You can check in at 7 am and next day check Morning 7 am you can check out and they will charge Only for a day . These days most of the hotel will insist on early check In charges .Complementary Breakfast is dull and Rooms are basic for a 3 star hotel . Location is good any cab driver or auto driver will know this hotel .

Not at all a great place to stay. Staff in the reception are pretty rude and itseems like the hotel is built centuries ago. Some renovation is happening but still you will be provided with very old rooms. No value for money. No cleanliness.

Amazing bar in Kodambakkam especially the location . Its close to the old liberty theatre, which is not there any more. The rasa vadai is the speciality , don miss that .

A nice bar to hangout with friends....cheap and good hotel for a beer and side dish is not that good but the rate is 10 percent higher than the beer price and quantity is also less..compared to other bar its okay.....

Sorry Missed to take photos but room given was horrible but I shifted the room by paying 570 extra on perday basis. Food was expensive and not authentic taste. Reception and corridor has no AC. Complimentary breakfast quality was like street food. Service was late.Laundry service took 3 days and lost my hanky but still charged washing cost.Overall experience was not very pleasant.
