One can only be touched by the dedication and attitude of the staff here at the Voluntary Health Services (VHS).I had my COVID vaccinations here, and the system was so efficient and well organised. Despite long queues there was no chaos and all the staff at the different parts of the logistical chain did their duties admirably.The nurses who gave the two shots were also quite friendly and spoke some calming words before injecting. These words, though few, were so reassuring.I salute them and their team whole heartedly.

Yesterday I had a bad experience in this hospital. I was about to travel abroad by this Sunday morning. I went to take RT PCR TEST . Very poor response from the staffs there .. I waited for nearly 1 hour for the self declaration form and there was no proper response in the lab. They staight away said they cannot give result by Saturday night too. It can be given only by Sunday. It was very disappointing for me ..I waited for a long time and finally there was a rude response. I came by Friday 3 pm and even I cannot the result within Saturday night.

Very bad experience i suggest any emergency pls dont go to the hospital my mother is in the hospitalization for one week if take one more week for the treatment i lost my Friend mother because due to is wrong treatment and the doctor. I donated blood on 5.7.2021.Received a call from NatrajWho requested to donate blood for Talesemia. I agreed and reached the blood bank, donated blood. The lady Kalpana who works in the blood bank pressurised me to get donorswhich is unfair. She showd an unprofessional gesture which was awkward. This is the second time she behaves in an unprofessional way. I would urge the authorities to take disciplinary action against her.

No star can be given to this hospital. Since there is no option, I have given one star. But out iof frustration Im posting. My uncle was admitted in the hospital 7days back. He was having covid. They took money from us. But no proper treatment was given. No proper food , medicines and no response or update to the patients relative. Now my uncle is no more. He was admitted with normal fever and in between no updates from hospital even after multiple calls and then they informed he is no more because of less oxygen . The hospital get money and provide no proper treatment. Worst hospital and I request no one to go to this hospital.Government should take measures to close this hospital

My mother was admitted in VHS last month for covid. A month later she complained about some symptoms for which we contacted dr sriram who treated her. He was very rude and unprofessional. He asked us to delete his contact and said he is not a friend. For him to assume that we contacted him to befriend him instead of professional advice is very presumptuous and rude! For a doctor, his reply was unnecessarily impolite and he should learn how to talk to a patient who is recovering.

Hi all.I admited my mom on 18th nov 2020 in vhs. She tested for covid and result came negative. She was in emergency ward. After covid result shown negative .She shifted to diabetic block. Because she has high diabetic and diagnosed that she has sepsis. Dr treated her with high level of anti biotic. She fell down at home and she could not walk with her own. We explained everything they took xray on thigh, leg, foot, spine.everything is normal let see and get ortho opinion. 10 days later they said nothing..Everything is normal. Even she can walk. Make her walk with help of Walker.Dr told us to discharge but my mom could not able to walk.we discharged with same wheel chair. I asked dr she is not able to walk she is complaining pain in thigh. Dr said everything is normal. Give her physiotherapy and motivate her. This hospital is waste for ortho problem. Dont go for ortho related problems.we spent almost 2 lac inclusive of medicine.They even dint diagnose properly.15 days later we admitted her in another private hospital.Later we came to know that she had soft tissue injury it infected all her right leg and spreaded all over her pelvic region. It affected her badly. My mom passed away on jan 30th 2021...Neuro dept providing treatment with full service motto..Hospital runs only because of nurses. hospital has their own nurse training Institute.. This hospital is not recommend for low income group.. It is almost equal to private hospital..

The treatment was mediocre. The place is horrible and for a hospital it is very unhygienic, there are no provisions for any comfort for the patient or the visitor. My mom was admitted in the hospital for COVID and discharged a month back. After a month I had called Dr. Sriram to enquire about a COVID related symptom for my mom and he was unnecessarily rude. I was always under the impression that doctors were helpful in nature until I spoke to him. It wud have made sense to have asked me not to disturb if I had called a lot of times. It was shocking that I got this rude reply after calling just ONCE!! After being rude he basically asked me to delete his number as if I call him every other day! I understand doctors help ppl with their health but do they get to walk all over our self respect too? And might I add completely unnecessarily and totally uncalled for.

This is beulah and my mother Jaculin C was admitted last month and she passed away on April 28th 2021. Still death certificate was not issued. my brother keeps following up lots of times and no response from the staff, such an horrible experience and i dont know after seeing this review these people will issue after this

V.H.S. saved my life. I am not from Chennai and I knew only one hospital from Chennai, i.e., Apollo. Last week my condition at night went so bad that I had to be admitted in emergency in the nearest hospital, I got VHS.VHS proved my decision to get admitted there in hurry was not a wrong one.I believe VHS should be listed among top hospitals in the country.Each and every patients progress was carefully noted and patients were taken utmost care with least possible medicines and tests.All doctors and staff are very professional and helpful.5 ratings are less. If google allowed I would have had given 500 ratings.

Hate this place , where my childhood friend died while cesserian delivery. We are informed by doctor like scan data showing the water sucked inside and travelled internally then blocked the functions of heart and lungs. But the scanned proof has not been submitted while send off. So be careful all. And please be note that the cesserian were not a usual one for all the conditions. Scenarios may vary for each and every ladies. 😭

Good place to do covid test result will given on same day itself

Excellent experience in VHS. My 84 year old father in law had to undergo a brain surgery and Dr Vasudevan the chief Neuro surgeon handled it very efficiently. Surgery was successful and my father in law is back to normal. Kudos to Dr Vasudevan and his team for the wonderful service they do in VHS.

This place is fundamentally flawed.People can freely walk inside the ICU and no heads would be turned.The place was really pathetic!!The place was filled with UNEDUCATED NURSES who did not know the basic tests which are required for Covid testing.PLEASE DO NOT VISIT THIS PLACE!!FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY.

Maternity block is clean and neat. Doctor are humble. Medicines and treatment fees are ok. Rooms and AC rooms are double, triple rate than general Ward and I dont know the logic of rate they fixed for the rooms.

Main doctors are good, learning small doctors were worst and nurses were very very worst, my brother in law under gone with operation 2018 since his left side small part of skull has been removed , and he become normal and he cam to home and after 6 months of time july2019 we admitted him in VHS for head skull resetting operation, he himself walked and stayed in ward in 2 days very normally , but after skull fixing , he was deteriorated and passed way on sep8th 2019 in same hospital , many hidden things happen inside the ward, every thing was suspicious thing. no proper response from doctor side and admin side, very curious on getting amount . with out checking the skull condition they kept in head and got infection , purely they alone responsible for his death , now his wife and 2 childrens suffering lot .

Really Im not happy with the hospital right from the beginning i faced lot of troubles and problems. I feel there is no proper guidance and managment. But the treatment is good but i cant see any ward boys in certain areas especially special like ICU at all. If they do shape up some areas it will be better for the patients. But need more development otherwise peoples who r going for the treatment it will get more trouble.

Neurological department doctors are very good as far my experience goes. The general medicine doctors are good but few doesnt follow the hygienic procedures while checking the patient. Surgeons are very very wonderful. But the service to the patients is too poor. All nurses are totally new even to the post operation wards. Number of nurses and helpers are very less in number. I did my internship in psychiatry department 6yrs ago. VHS was good then but not now. Please dont go except any emergency care. Nursing care is very poor. Nurses are like demons I have never seen such nurses in my life. They dont have concern about patients illness. Very rude approach their behaviour is harmful. I felt so bad of suggesting VHS to my relative. Dr.Poonam & Dr.Adarsh were gud and supportive. Beware of Admin person he will say here care will be less Ill refer u to some other gud hospital and u can say my name. Dont reveal this in management. Dont listen and trust him. Unable to give 0 or negative star. Admitted mom 2 days back from today. No one in echo room for last 2 days. Asked to go out for scan and ECG as their employee is on vacation. Typical govt hospital like. restroom suck. Wanted to shift hospital now. Waiting for doc visit and discharge summary for 3 hours now. Asking to wait as their medical will open at 3 to return medicine. They dont understand the life is more important than 3K medicine. Unhappy and worst experience. Almost filed an FIR for not allowing to go out. She is screaming in pain. Worst. Avoid if possible. I can give evidence if required.
