Well maintained public park. This is very good for the walkers. Pathway around the pond covers 400m per round. Speciality here is the pebble path for acupuncture. Great to see such public places maintained this well

Very nicely maintained park & Pond. Pond has lots of rare white lotus. There are lots of large fishes, ducks, geese etc. Park has a walking track, childrens play area and also marble stone walk area.

A pleasant place to spend ur evening with kids... Hope the corporation takes initiative to clear up the garbages on the water. I take this opportunity to request public not to throw plastic bags and water bottles on the water surface, which ever lake or pond.. Lets help the goverment to keep our city clean..

Best place to relax in Pallikaranai. Well maintained. Pond s part of Shivan temple but maintained as well relaxcation pond. Good one for kids as 2 play area are there.Ducks are kept there. Ponds has small turtles, fishes. Yoga practice area, mini acupressure walk also available.

Unrespectfull hotel owener. Not an hygienic place to eat .

Very Big Pond at Pallikkaranai with full of Lotus Leaves and Lotus Flowers. Very Attractive and feast to the eyes. It is a boon to the residents of பள்ளிக்கரணை Area. I visited this place many times and enjoyed it.

It’s a nice little park where nature and the people live coexist in complete harmony... love the place, it’s amazing how people are taking care of it the way it is... and how the aquatic life is thriving there... it’s a completely different feeling when you reach there... you feel like relaxing for a bit, take pictures or just sit and enjoy the nature!

Well maintained park with separate pathway for walking. Two play areas available for kids. Overall it is good place to visit.

Tastefully maintained with adequate space and trees. Enough seating benches for people who would like to sit and enjoy the serenity. The lotus pond/ducks and fishes are the major attractions that are generally unseen in other parks/lakes in this areas.

Lovely place for stroll. Densely vegetated so you suddenly feel you are out of Chennai. Lots of small fishes in the pond, please dont feed them.

The place is maintained good. Foot path is available for jogging and running. Children park also there. The reason for giving 4 🌟 is , it is on Main road. So both sound and air pollution is there.

Calm cool and nice place. There are two good play area for kids. Lot of trees around the walk ways gives you a chilled atmosphere. Nice evening golden hour photography location. The pond gives you a superb reflection of the sky and sun with a foreground banyan tree. Silhouettes is another photography trick which you can try here.Lots of birds can be seen around the pond. I have spotted koels, kingfisher, drongos, herons, doves, kites, tree pie etc.Fresh cooked snacks are served by locals at the parking lots. They sell yummy kuzhipanniyaaram, vada etc. Tender cocunut sellers and ice cream tricycles are around.Altogether a very nice place to hang around with family and kids in the evening.

True to its name, pond filled with lotus, and refreshingly cool waters. Slightly opposite and across the road is the eSeva Centre where I had gone to get my jeevan pramaan cerificate.
