Theatre is well maintained. Sound is still low compared to all other theatres. I highly doubt on audio and visual in this theatre. Dolby, I never enjoyed one. Picture Quality, Definitely it is not good compare to other theatres. If you are someone like me who would love to enjoy the sound and visual at its best in theatre then definitely this is not for you. You can enjoy a decent movie considerable quality and highly rated snacks. I think this theatre is one of the top costly snack selling theatres. I definitely would recommend if you would love to enjoy one of the best popcorn with toppings. Toilets are well maintained and sanitisers are placed everywhere, that’s really good.

Theatre and restrooms are clean and well maintained... In between seats are usable as they are not wrapped around with tapes.. So if you go with friends, you can sit together and enjoy the movie during this pandemic period...Large popcorn price - 190rs

Best place to watch movies and the popcorn here is the best. Their snacks and eatables are extremely good and hygienic.They also have very clean toilet, covid measures strictly maintained. They have hand sanitizers on every floors.

The last time when I went there, movie started late due to technical issues. While watching the movie, the screen would go pinkish with some spots here and there. This was happening frequently that the management cancelled the show and refunded the movie ticket as well as parking ticket.Otherwise,Theatre was clean and tidy.Clean restroom was available.Huge parking space was available.One should never miss the popcorn with toppings from this theatre.

Poorly maintained ever since the management change. The screen is not clean anymore and hinders with the movie experience. Used to be my favourite theatre in Chennai, never gonna step in again.

Very bad experience that day. Visited 1st time after lockdown was lifted. Sathyam cinemas has lost the quality it had in old times. Sathyam Cinemas is the only theatre, probably in Tamil Nadu, who were pioneers for latest technology and incredible movie experience until PVR came in. I cudn believe that it took them over 30 mins to resolve the 3d screening issue during show of 007: No time to Die. It never happened in my lifetime. Waiting to re-live old times.

Im a very huge fan SPI Cinemas :)I regularly experience movies at Sathyam theatre and various SPI branches.Their popcorn added with flavors is the top notch.Waiting for the pandemic to get over soon and the situation to be safe to experience movies in theatres.Sathyam has a huge parking spaces and well maintained restrooms and neat theatres.Great experience watching here especially in Elite Rows.

Sunday, October 3rd 2021, 11.55am show was delayed for an hour and the movie started at only 1pm. That was a very bad experience. A regular popcorn was given in return. Even after the issue got resolved there was a thin red line on the screen. It felt like an utter waste of money for coming here and we didnt expect this experience in Sathyam cinemas! As time goes, this theatre is losing its old standard

13.09.21, we bought ticket for Thalaivi 12.05 pm directly from ticket counter. Until 01.10 pm show is not started, everyone standing and waiting. No proper response from theatre management. Once I asked them bit harder they told me to proceed for refund and issued refund. I wasted my one hour time. I came from Tambaram to watch a movie at Sathyam and turned out to be horrible. THE MANAGEMENT SHOULD PLAN SHOWTIME PROPERLY. DONT WASTE THE CUSTOMER VALUABLE TIME. YOU CAN REFUND THE MONEY. BUT YOU CAN NOT RETURN THE TIME I SPENT.

Horrible service! We booked 7 tickets for the James bond movie and it was 3D and they say its one time glass and the glass were so dirty and some were crushed. Under my seat I felt garbage which was not cleared from the previous show. HORRIBLE THEATRE TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY. PLEASE GIVE IT BACK TO SATHYAM. PVR IS HORRIBLE

I dont want describe abt satyam cinemas. As u know all abt it. But I want to highlight one thing. popcorn n other snacks are not up the mark as before. After PVR cinemas took over satyam the quality of food is reduced. I gave the rating based on the food only in other hand all things good.

No words can express my love to sathyam cinemas. Watching movie at sathyam while enjoying their popcorn and Doughnut is a feeling youll never forget. I badly miss that experience, I moved out of chennai two years ago :(But ever since this stupid PVR took over sathyam, they have increased the snacks price. The Staff were extremely unprofessional. Even when a friend of us was missing, the staff were unhelpful. Whoever we approached for help asked us whether we had tickets to the movies and asked us what the movie we book was... instead of helping us find our friend. They reacted to our requests in a suspicious manner. They told us to go watch the movie instead of trying to find our friend who was missing. Totally unreliable service during an emergency.

The best place for watching movies. It has a gaming center too named blur. The main screen is the best one among all the screens.

Visited Sathyam cinemas today(23-12-2020) Movie: Wonder Woman 1984; Theater is very well maintained, visiting after very long time nearly a year after, staffs are very kind and polite and cooperative. Everyone maintained social distance and covid norms, i wish the situation gets better and sathyam cinemas will rule chennai movies again and will get back to form, Blur is not available so people cant play Ps4, but good maintenance keep it up.

Finally the theatres have opened. Went recently for a movie. Wait, in last week I have watched 3 movies at sathyam 😁. And the love for their popcorn🍿. I actually freak out when I see sathyam popcorn 🍿and I put in lots of seasoning in it and lots of butter also. Admits everyone 🙏😜 But this pure happiness.

May be rusty after the 1 year and 5 months lockdownThey have popcorn but, not as good as before.Theatre is clean as usual.Tickets are sent thru sms. NO CONFIRMATION RECEIPTS. So, if you give the wrong phone number by mistake, youll have problems with your tickets.But, its all worth it. Those night outs are awesome 👌

Used to come here for movies all the time as a little kid. After the movies, we used to go to Ecstasy by Michael Besse. Honestly was the best patisserie in Chennai. Sathyam cinema is real high quality.

PVR, you bought something that was great. Now I dont see the same standards as before. Your customer services are not good. Why advice customers to buy food online when you dont have a separate queue to fulfill the orders. For name sake you have a counter. People have to wait in the same queue Even after placing order online.Change the way you assist your customers. Dont damage the good vibes Sathyam cinemas already have.
