It is one of the temples attached to the Sringeri Mutt. It is situated in kripa sankari street near kali bari temple in west mambalam. It has the idols of goddess sharadambal with vinayagar and krishnan. It also has a veda patashala imparting vedic studies to brahmin students from poor background. Many homams and abhishekams are conducted for the benefit of the people. It conducts a lot of festivals in a large scale navaratri, pradosham and sankata hara chaturthi being some.It has utsava moorthis of lord ayyappa, shiva parvati and sharada to name a few.Vishnu sahasranamam and lalitha sahasranamam and many other slokas are recited everyday in the evening by 6.30 pm.Altogether it is a divine spot for the entire family.

* Benefit of visiting saints ** Since life is based on preconceptions, the question arises as to whether it is going to change just by seeing the saints .. ** It is true that the saints do not change sinful deeds *.* But they change the way we experience the reaction *.Lets look at this with an example.Suppose one has retail coins for six thousand rupees and it will be like a bundle. It’s all hard to carry and deal with.Someone looks at the song he is playing and buys a retail one and gives 3 in the form of new two thousand rupee notes. There are still the same six thousand. But the load is unknown ..! The burden has been reduced .. !!This is what the saints do… !!Karma is with us but the sages change our state of mind so that we do not suffer and strengthen our soul power. It is an unshakable fact that worshiping defiled saints will change our acceptance of sinful deeds.* It still happens today to worship in the tombs of life .. *!
