Really good infrastructure, rooms are good, spacious with all the facilities. I moved to this place because it felt very like a safe place for girls. So, before I moved in (2012, I could see their smiling faces all around...so welcoming!! They made me sign a document that said that we should stay in there for minimum of 3 months minimum and other terms and conditions. And at that time, I was definitely sure that I would be staying there at least for 6 months, and signed the documents and everything. Mess was good. I liked that place a lot till the point when I told them that I needed to move to another city. This happened after like one and a half months or so. Things were like omg!! I was already going through a tough situation then and these people made it worse.First of all, there was no humanity. Nobody wanted to listen to my story or at least consider why it was important for me to leave. I remember there was Miss. RITAAAAA!!!! God!!! She is a horrible person with a horrible harsh tone. She thinks that she can just boss around doing whatever she likes. She was so rude to me! We wouldnt even treat a dog like that. I was still an undergrad student then, still learning the true facts about life! and these people helped me in understanding that there is this harsh selfish world behind those fake smiles. All they wanted was money. Even if someone dies in an accident, they would be like oh...she couldnt pay for this current month! So as the story goes, I was made to pay the rent for the current and the third month. Fine, I do understand that these things work on certain lines but, I believe things could have been a little better and a little more humane even if its only about money. One more incident, I remember from my last day. This other lady in charge (:lucky, I forgot your name) almost sushshed me when I was running around for something urgent.. to get the exit the gate formality done. There was this other father with her daughter (probably planning to shift to this new good place with smiling people all around). I was made to wait at the offices entrance door till they left.
This hostel is nice for people who have their workplaces around it.The food is average but the room and facilities they provide are good.Affordable.
Its a nice place, safe accommodation for women who stay far away from home.
Only suitable for interns or first time working women belonging to low income group. They demand salary slips, job appointment letter and approval of two female local guardians for admission. Safe and secure though.
Very dirty very bad. Rude attendent
I was staying in this hostel from last 1 year.according to security it is safe for girls but the behaviour of main warden ms rita das gupta is so rude .she dont have any manners to talk with a hostel resident as well as their parents. She dont understand anybody situation and problem.moreover they charged extra expenses at time of leaving the hostel.overall it was very worst experience of mine for living in this hostel.
Loved it
Locality is good, there is greenery, small mall near by walking distance, two metro stations walking distance and and markets are also available in nearby vicinity.
Good food And amenities.. really bad management.. except warden everyone is partial and running away from responsibilities. Makes it really hard to sustain in the hostel. The property is good but the management makes it all worthless.. the caretakers are the worst when it comes to solving problems aur responding to queries. Theyll increase the rent and add miscellaneous charges every now and then.. then will give dead looks and rude answers if youll ask for the reasons..
Safest place for living in Delhi
Safe and secure place and big enough to stay. If anyone is new first must stay in this hostel then can shift to next. Near by there is market and mall in walking distance and metro Station.
Its an amazing place for single working women. It has only two draw backs 1-hard water( for which they cant do any thing as the water in jasola is hard.) 2- no AC.The place is good and spacious. Rooms are big and every room has its own washroom, almira section and balcony. I love this place for space. Security wise its good and food is also bearable. For the price they charge its the best deal in the area... :)
Very well maintained and managed hostel for girls with good facilities.
It is the worst palce i have ever visited in my life. As per some of the reviews given by few people the food is very bad. ( How people can eat such oily food which is effecting there health )
Stayed here for more than 3 years. Good place in terms of security, food, cleanliness. 5 storey building, rooms with attached bathroom and balcony.. very spacious. One can fall in love with this place.. Also now it has connectivity with 2 metro stations I.e. jasola apollo( violet line) and jasola shaheen bagh( magenta line) which connects noida and ggn and kashmere gate.. so a perfect place in this congested Delhi.
Security is not a concern here. The place has a huge market place nearby with all amenities.Food at the mess is also of above average level. The only concern perhaps will be the condition and maintenance of the room itself.Overall a good choice for the working women who want to stay away from nose poking neighbours. And overall like the hostel culture.
I like them this hostel and nice the this people , very nice ... But i want to asking somethink there owner,
The food is getting worse day by day n the mess room fans are now stop working n they are charging for food 3160 for nothing loot machi hui hai
Nice rooms and good food. Also the wardens are supportive
Well located near Jasola Shaheen Bagh metro station which is a 10 min brisk walk away. Building and rooms look like to be in need of maintenance . But guess the hostel also needs security to be beefed up with possibly a delhi police post outside. One would expect better maintenance from YWCA...
Best hostel for working women, have open spaces, mess and secured environment. Best part, its very close to magenta and violet line.
It is located in Jasola Vihar near DAV School. It is near to Jasola Vihar Metro station and Jasola Shaheen Bagh Metro station. Sarita Vihar Market is on walking distance.
Very large spacious room.. one of very good hostels in delhi
Its a 350m walk from Jasola Shaheen Bagh Metro. There is a Rs. 50k pm income limit for admission and some age limit. Campus is secured.
My friend stays here. It is a very good place to stay for both working women and students. Rent+mess is also very cheap (around 5000) per month. Nearest metro - Shaheen Bagh and Jasolla Apollo. Not much noise at all. Semi-slums are there near it so must take some care of the people especially after sunset...
2017 when i joined in , it was cheap, the rent was 6500 including everything, now they have increased the electricity fee by 700,which is so expensive. Abd more over if u use your own coooler you need to pay 250 extra per month so electricity bill is 950, and if your 3rd roommate doesnt have a cooler, the wardens tell them to use yours, even if you dont them to just because they will charge the roomate also for cooler, in short whether u use cooler or not 950rps is mandate2.if u come to visit they will only show demo room, bileve me that will not at all look like your actual room. If u ask them can i see a room up, they will say no dont bileve me try it.3.food-- okOVERALL, BAD SERVICE IF YOU TAKE PROBLEM THEY WILL SAY CHOD DO, KOI AUR DHUND LO
If I could give a zero star, i would give to this pg. They ditch you, they showed me a good example room saying all the rooms are similar and then on my check in day they allotted me a shabby room that didnt have any curtains. After much of an argument with the warden ( who has a view tht example room has to be good so that we can thug you), they took me to other room which didnt look good either. No maintenance is done, the plaster in the rooms is coming off. No separate geysers in the washrooms which often leave the girls complaining for hot water in winters ( a basic necessity). The worst part is that they take you to your alloted room only when you have made the payment (so that you cant backoff). I paid 10k still i didnt join here, as for me , peace of mind and a comfy place after 8 hrs of work matters more than money. Girls be cautious!! DONT JOIN HERE. NO MAINTENANCE, RUDE STAFF, SHABBY PLACE!! See it to believe it!!
Staff are rude they don’t help me shifting my stuff, food is of low quality and fee per small room which is only size of three steps cost 16000
I am a resident and its a very nice hostel
Awesome place and safe place for the girls but some of the girls meet their boyfriend outside the gate and guard make the permission
This is a hostel for working women and girl students on rent. This is big and safe place.
Good facilities. It has a reasonable fee structure for single, double and triple bed.Every room has a balcony, a toilet, a bathroom, a wash area, three attached wardrobes, two ceiling fans, nine lights (four tube lights and the rest LED). The floor is glaze tiles and is swiped and mopped six days a week.Jasola Apollo in the Violet line (south-east to and fro north-east) and Jasola Vihar-Shaheen Bagh Metro Station in Megenta Line (south-east to and fro south-west) are the nearest metro station and, autos and rickshaws are available at doorsteps. There are 24/7 security service and mess service that provides four meals a day.Good administration, good building, spacious compound. A hot water system connecting every room in the building is available 24/7 during winter.
The place is okay, but the administration is very unprofessional and hence a lot of miscommunication happens. You wont be provided with mattress and youd have to arrange it on your own.
Staff there is not supporting at all.. food is fine but rooms doesnt have proper ventilation, its like hell in summers if you live on top floors.. no maintenance in case of any problem..
Amazing infrastructure, affordable and safe place to stay for women
