Central Training institute/ National skill training institute, is a good training institute under the control of central government. Lot of courses are here for the ITI, Diploma, Engineering students for developing their core knowledge in their respective departments. If you finished courses here means they will arrange a job like apprenticeship in private sectors.

My father did his Advanced training from here during 1960s-70s. He took very rare photographs in black and white. I took an opportunity to colour them and posted here.

Across the india best and biggest Institute I proud of I am geting training from here.

I attended controls system related course in chennai. Good training provided at nominal cost. Very useful to get some industrial hands on experience.One recommendations here for Institute is to make the controller set up for 3 to 4 leading plc brands available in the market.

National skill training institute is very good places for CITS or CTI their teachers are very good or helpful their are a bank in ground floor this is 2 storey building area wise this building is very old and cover a large area in there 1 dispensary and a hostel for girls inside the college building and staff quarters akso there for boys outside hostel. 1 library for studying purpose for childrens.

.NSTI was established in 1968 under the Directorate General Training (DGT), Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship , Government of India, New Delhi.NSTI conducts Craft Instructor Training Scheme (CITS) in various TRADES and has been to train the Instructors.It is centrally placed in Chennai with well designed Workshops / Laboratories with modern sophisticated equipment / machinery both imported and indigenous.Canteen, Dispensary and Hostel facilities are also available at this institute.NSTI is located in a campus of 32 acres at Guindy Industrial Estate in the heart of Chennai city surrounded by various Micro, Small and Medium industries, and hotels as well as reputed institutions like IIT, Anna University, MSME, NSIC, CIPET etc.This campus also houses:National Instructional Media Institute ( NIMI )Regional Directorate of Apprenticeship Training ( RDAT )Vocational Rehabilitation Centre for Handicapped ( VRC )Union Bank of India ( UBI )I also pass out from here session during 2018-2019 and from my experience faculties or staff and environment is excellent.
