There are two bus terminus in Madhavaram. Usually people get confused between the local bus terminus and the Mofussil bus terminus. Even some of the reviews written have taken the right photos but mapped the wrong place which leads to more confusion.Good news is the new Mofussil bus terminus is just 1.2 KMs from the local bus terminus.So if U r wrongly struck somewhere search for MMBT in the Google maps. Its near the round about at the bypass.The place is neat very spacious and well maintained. Toilets are descent but needs better maintenance. Very few buses are only plying from here (AP routes only) unlike the CMBT which is a mega terminus.I have proposed updation of this map entry to the right spot. So watch out. Better come a little early to avoid disappointment with a wrong location.

Very neat and clean bus station. It would be better if toilets are somewhat clean. Good maintenance than koyambedu CMBT. Its under development still like arrangement of Restaurants and ATMs. Most of the Andhra Pradesh busses now a days dropping and picking up from here.

Madhavaram bus terminal has timing bus service to koyambedu I think there is 45min each avail from Madhavaram to koyambedu. There is a rest facility is available but it will closed more over in the day. There is small temple at the inside of the bus terminal nice temple it has nice look for relaxation

New hub for ALL busses going to Andhra Pradesh and Telangana (APSRTC, TNRTC & TSRTC). 20 mins by MTC bus (121 series) from CMBT. Nice as it is new but more food and other refreshments need to established yet.

Buses towards Thirupathi, Dont do mistake by going to Koyambedu for Thirupathi as I did. Thats why I am positing thisHere is the bus stop who wants to go for Thirupathi, Nellore, Thada, kalahasthi etc

Nice accommodation for passengers. Neatness is being superbly maintained in the bus stand. Good drinking water facilities but exit and entry facilities should be improved

Lot of facilities yet to come. Especially no ATM inside. One KVB atm atm construction was in progress. Lacks in direct local connectivity MTC buses. BTW good initiative by government. Hope they soon bring all the mandatory things soon.

No food courts yet, No night local services as of now they will be initiating soon. But the place is nice. Could employee fan for passengers whoever waiting for buses as it is not open bus terminus.

New and nice. Good that busses to Andhra moved here. This avoids lot of traffic. No shops established yet. Please plan accordingly.

2 wheeler parking available 24/7. They charge 40rs per day for 2 wheeler. Also available 3 Wheller and 4 wheller parking. Have ample space for parking.

It is a bus stand for APSRTC buses. Somewhat far from CMBT bus stand in chennai. Share autos are available from CMBT bus stand to Mahdavaram Bus stand. Its not convenient as it takes more time to travel especially for areas like Taramani. The bus stand is clean. The places names are mentioned in both Tamil and English.

Very worst and uncomfortable .. dont know y u people changed bustop to Madhavaram.u r not supposed to change until u start bus facility from cmbt to madhavaram. Not comfortable at all. Every telugu girl feeling same.people started using train instead of ur idiot madhavaram bustop .at least wakeup and try to facilitate busses from madhavaram to cmbt . Not safe for girls .big roads need to cross and only auto available . U made Journeys more expensive and unsafe

Recently, the tentative departure and arrival center for APSRTC and Tamilnadu state buses towards Andhra Pradesh, Telangana has been changed from CMBT, Koyembedu to here, Chennai Madhavaram Bus Terminus (new CMBT). There are 4 platforms till now in total. As of now, only two services namely 121Cut/Cross and 114 connect Madhavaram Bus Terminus to Koyembedu CMBT. No stalls are established yet, need to develop a lot since its still in earlier stage. Far from city center and important areas, so number of services that connect places should be increased rapidly. Toilet facility, breastfeeding rooms, drinking water facility are available just like the older CMBT. Also has Wheelchair facility for the needy. As said, it is in early stage so a lot is to be developed as soon as possible for the authorities. One thing that makes this place standout is, the free or resting buses are parked in the first floor or flyover, over the platforms which makes the active buses and passengers to use the whole place available on the ground.

1.This bus stop was a well planned one.2. Architecture was made such that bus platforms were kept in the first floor also to utilize the space effectively.3.Has lift facility .4. With Toilet facilities (for both Male & Female).5. Attached with Breast feeding room.6. It was not yet inaugurated officially by the government (as on 20th October 2018), but buses were operating.7. Some buses like APSRTC(Tirumala, Tirupathi, Andhra) & TNSTC(Tirupathi, Andhra, etc...) which were operating from CMBT earlier but they were made changed to operate from here due to Festival occasions as on 20th Oct 2018.

Its old one ,,, try to update the new bus stand .All the cabs are dropped at old bus stand due to not updation.So , add new madhavaram bus stand also it is named as andhra bus stand

No connecting buses to the city. No depot incharge or any other personnel for guidance. Horrible.
