Dining space can accomodate upto 150 to 200 guests at a time.Gents restrooms maintenance need more attention and to be kept clean.Overall it is a good hall to conduct functions like marriage...

Nice wedding hall near porur. Well built hall and also well maintained. The dinning hall is at first floor. The approach road is little tough for car and and the parking area is small.

Good marriage hall overall. Can spot from main road. Has reasonable parking space. Can seat about 800 ppl I think. Nice spacious balconies and dining hall which can seat 150+ ppl at a time. Clean too. Has 10 rooms with washrooms.

This is how it will be during monsoon season if you decide to fix your family function, I am one of the residents in this area and I have seen many people struggling by choosing this hall and parking lot to hall as they have rooms in the parking lot area.If there is rain for continues 1-2 hour definitely water stagnation is there. This is decent Mandapam for a middle class ambience. Has a separate car parking that makes it attractive. Though on the main road there is no signage warning that indicates the location of the place until we crossed it on the main road !

We rented out this place for a two-day wedding couple of months ago after looking it up online and through some word of mouth suggestions from friends. After having scoured the city looking for a spacious venue which was also affordable and not in the outskirts of the city, we finalised on Sri Rajlakshmi Mahal. It is definitely one amongst the very few wedding halls in Chennai which offers rooms 16 rooms , elevator , decent decor and spacious car-parking. This hall and another similar space is owned by a Father Son duo who expect you to pay the full amount (including the maintenance charges) even if its is almost 4 months in advance. In most other Mandapams they request for this amount only ten days before the date of the event. We wouldnt have minded paying up had the maintenance been taken care of as much. The blankets on the cots were mouldy. The grooms room is definitely not befitting any groom. The bathroom is so constricted and the AC remote was not provided ( to top it some flaps had come off leaving a gaping hole ) so we had to nearly freeze as the blankets were also not usable. Another important hygiene related negligence was - there werent enough foot mats outside the bathrooms, thereby the whole room would get wet and messy. The Air Conditioner was not even switched on during the first days morning rituals and we had to request them multiple times before the hall got cooled. There is also one room which is not even usable because the ceiling leaks and the bedding is drenched by it. Beyond the problem with the amenities, a whole lot of the so called cleaning staff join the wedding Pandhi ( meals served ) which threw off our headcount given to caterers. Though many guests really liked the look of the venue and appreciated our choice, we really hope the management does need to look into these key issues if the place has to stay popular.

This Mahal is decent but the A/C cooling capacity is not upto the mark. The stage size is big (not sure about the exact dimension). It has a parking space very near to the Mahal also.

I went for my colleague marriage function. Ambience was good. But, car parking was pain in ***. When I came from the main road, I took the right turn into the compound gate.

Happy get-together. Catering by SVS Caterers is icing on the cake.

I visited this venue on Feb 1st to attend a wedding. I used Google maps to locate the place as I had rarely been to this part of Chennai and didnt want to be late. To my surprise, this mandapam is very close to the main road hardly 50-75 mts away and just past ARS garden. Though I noticed a stone laid mentioning the year of construction to be 2011, its pretty much neat and well maintained.

The worst management, worst hospitality, my sincere advice dont book if u want a peacefull function, no value for money, they charge entire amount including the EB bill before and mesmerise you telling AC will be on once you enter , but finally on the day off function they switch on only after you ask several times, we entered the hall at 2pm and they switched on AC only around 6 pm. Worst management

This Mahal is near to Lashmi Nagar Porur... This is a Big Kalyana Mandapam with Air Conditioning... Big Dinning Hall.. With big Parking area.. Very Good Place for Reception and Wedding ceremony... Even we have place for both two wheeler and car Parking.. quite inside the street but not intereor.
