I was visiting Chennai and decided to hop in for some nicely reviewed seafood. Heres my experience.Ambience : it looked more of a general, modern restaurant, than a place with seafood. The vibes were missing.Customer service : terrible. The didnt bother to ask for the order. Despite explaining them what i wanted exactly they served me something entirely different, and didnt even bother to apologize. They were quite indifferent.Food: average. Or under average, if you ask boyfriend. The chicken noodles was average, plus came witha tiny bowl of average tomato sauce. Yes - no other condiments at all! I wanted butter garlic prawns. I was served something that had some prawn stuff in it. They had served me batter coated prawn pieces. I had sent it back once when I said I did not want it spicy, they brought the same thing just without the red chilly. Food sucked. We ordered mint lime cooler drinks which better can be described as mint sugar drink.Overall: the price was the best part - it does cut into your wallet. At least something was sharp!P.S. Dont be fooled by the pics i took. I am a food blogger.

The ambience and customer service of the restaurant was very good, but the taste of the food was not great as expected and even the costs were much higher than what was anticipated. Some of the foods which we ordered were very salty and we were unable to eat it. Anyways some of the items was good and the quality of the items of which the food was made was great as it was evident in the taste

If you want to try Mandi Biriyani, you should come here... The staff here are fantastic.... the rest of the menu is something you must try... Lemon Mint was fantastic.

We tried vegetarian food here. It was decent. The restaurant has very wide variety of non veg dishes.

We went as a family there. The service was great. No doubt about it. But when it comes to dishes we had some issues . 6-8 people jumbo platter was there in the menu but when we requested for it they said it wasnt available. So we took a large fish platter and ordered other items as required. In the fish platter, other than the prawn and the fish fillets nothing was juicy or had enough seasonings/salt. It was so bland. Looked like money wasted on it. The spicy corn here is super tasty. Other food were merely average. The soup was super spicy, I loved it but but most of my family members found it too spicy that they didnt have it.

One the reputed restaurants in city never fails to satisfy their customers by good or service.They huge menu over veg and non veg foods .All foods serves here with good quality and quantity.

A good restaurant for Chinese and Seafood. Lots of varieties available for all cuisines. Though, even the seafood has a touch of Chinese flavour in it. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Nice place to stop by for lunch and dinner.

Palmshore keeps updating their menu and their specials are excellent. Service is good. Its for meat lovers, you get middle eastern food here. Car park is a bit tricky but they provide valet service. So check it out

Confortable, nice restaurant with the variety of food rating from less to more spicy. The staff is very nice and helpful trying to guide you through the menu. Willing also to talk to the chef to slightly change his delicious recepies. The experience I had with Mr. Suresh, one of the staff, was very positive.

First of all I’d like to say that the food caused me food poisoning…Yup…Was bedridden for two days…Moving on…We visited on a Sunday…when half the dishes listed were not available…food very bland…Didn’t need to be distinct in taste…but should’ve had some flavour and smell…had to look on the plate each time I took a bite to identify what the hell I was eating…Apart from the time when they were smelly enough to instantly recognise if it was a seafood or not(Highly recommend not to visit this place if you plan on having seafood)…Also the air conditioning doesn’t work, so don’t bother to ask the staff about that…Food extremely expensive when you compare it with any standards - quantity, taste or whatever you try to justify it with…Definitely doesn’t add up…Dishes we had…1)Soup - The Usual spice with chicken bits(5/10)2)Lobster - The most smelly seafood I ever had…makes me wonder if all lobster dishes are this bad…(2/10)…Costs about 900/- ish3)Chicken something - looked fancy but felt like it was stuffed with sand(3/10)4)Mandi (3/10)5)Fish polichadhu - Now this dish is the real highlight, they wrap a fish with no flesh but only bones in a banana leaf and hide the truth with onions tomato and chilli gravy…Doesn’t matter which piece you take…you only bite bones not flesh…or you could use the fork presented to patiently dissect the fish like a surgeon trying to find a bullet in the body…(2/10)6)Finally the desserts were somewhat pleasant…Falooda and tender coconut pudding (7/10)…My bill amount was 3200 ish…had to include a tip cause the service was better than average…Fancy restaurants these days scam people with popular YouTube promotions and hyped up eye-worthy display of foods…But it all boils down to the facts if the food served is at least satisfactory (or) makes you wanna crave them when hungry…which in this case is neither…But I will remember visiting this place…being the first restaurant to make me write a first detailed review…☹️

One of the most disappointing places for Arabian food. It took around 40 mins for the main course to arrive after starters by which we were pasi minjipochu - beyond hungry and the exhausted state of waiting. The single star is for the chicken skewers starter Iffah Dejaj and the Grape juice. The Dejaj Shishtauk which is chicken grill with onions was decent. The gobi manchurian ( I know Chinese but the server mentioned it was quite good ) was very salty. We should have realised that when the server mentioned that popular food like hummus and mandi rice was over along with several starters that we would not be served well but we were too hungry to find another place. Also there wasnt much people, with most tables empty around 9 pm on a friday night. What followed then is one of the bland and apparently inedible mutton biryani where the meat was so tough and the sweet rice chicken kabsa, which the server said tasted best if it is little spicy and not too sweet, to which we said ok, was too sickeningly sweet but not the good kind. The kind which then mixed with bbq sauce lends a smoky flavor and you have no idea what the taste is supposed to be. Its like thai sweet chilli meets texan bbq. The rice was quite oily and we couldnt finish even half. I hate wasting food, as food is a privilege and i couldnt even carry it away as someone elses stomach might go for a toss. I have heard good reviews for mandi but today it was sold out. How on a Friday night with less tables filled is what I dont know, maybe orders through delivery apps are more. A very very disappointing experience with food. One good starter doesnt complete the wholesome food. There is parking along the street however if empty. Else its a busy road.

Rating only for Chicken Madfoon..Palmshore is Turning out to be my favorite restaurant in chennai due to it brilliant arabian food...and recently i had learned about this Chicken Madfoon and full goat mandi that they have started serving.. So eager to check out this Chicken Madfoon Mandi i did visit their santhome outlet...This is probably the oldest outlet of palmshore but this too has been given a facelift recently and it looks too good...Seating capacity divided into 2 floors this is a well maintained place with sufficient seating capacity thats not mush cramped too.. The Parking seems to more than sufficient for this place for sure...The Service is quick with efficient and friendly manager/captains and prompt quick and polite servers.. Waiting time is less and food is served perfectly...The Madfoon had to served and the server was very efficient and served it perfectly...Chicken Madfoon Mandi : This is a package in itself that can serve 2-3 ppl..It starts with a Soup and then has a salad and finishes off with the Mandi itself.. The Soup was Laham Shorba which was more or less like pepper soup but with chunks of meat and liver...spicy and for the cool climate it was really good.. The Salad was Broccoli Honey dew which was basically Broccoli, carrots and beans tossed in honey...The Madfoon was very well served it had a bed of mandi rice on top of which sat a whole chicken that was stuffed with Biryani and eggs and cooked with a covering of banana leaf in a arabian pot of sorts.. First up the Chicken was so tender and soft and very well marinated in the masalas and also was so perfectly cooked that the meat was literally falling of the bones...The Biryani stuffed inside the Chicken had absorbed the masalas and was too good in taste... Ppl who love masaledar biryani would definitely love this one.. Was very flavorful and aromatic..The Mandi served along with this was one of the best i have had in chennai.. Loaded with cashews and raisins this one was too good...and on the whole the Madfoon Chicken Mandi is a Must try...Served along with Onions coated in vinegar, tomato chutney that usually accompanies the mandi and dates pickle which was too good...Sizzling Brownie(rs 200) : Pretty Decent Stuff and nothing out of the ordinary here...Body cooler(rs 80) : Water melon and Cucumber based drink that was thick and well made and helped wash down the meal perfectly..Lemon Mint(rs 65) : The Regular Stuff...well made and served perfectly chilled...Though Palmshore serves some good food i would limit this review to urge you to try the Chicken Madfoon Mandi...It was very good with some yummy and lip smaking mandi and Biryani.. And the chicken itself my god was too good...Am salivating as am writing this review...Priced at 690rs it was completely worth it and totally recommended...Note : The Order for the Mandi madfoon needs to confirmed minimum 4 hrs in advance...

I dont find spicy in any of the dishes. Most of the dishes were purely dry without any of the spicy masala. For those who expect spicy food dont try this place.

Visited this place for dinner after seeing all the positive reviews but was totally disappointed.The chicken was good but the fish and crabs were so bad. It was not at all fresh and tasted like old. Management should strictly improve the taste and quality of food served!

The mutton mandi, arabian platter, pepper BBQ chicken, arrow chicken were quite good. BBQ fish was a Letdown as it was not fresh and so was the ambiance. Ac was not working intially till we complained. The dynamite shrimp were a delight but the mojitos were too pricy! No soft drinks apart from 7 up were available.

Amazing food and very good quantity. Everything served was fresh and piping hot. Loved the barbecue fish, almondine chicken and not to mention the mutton biryani, where in the meat was cooked just right leaving it perfectly juicy and tender. The biryani rice was also very soft and aromatic. The restaurant was totally packed but the service was good. Valet parking is available for four wheelers. Ambience is good too. Definitely would recommend and revisit for a filling yummy meal.
