Old fashioned hall, it’s bigger and spacious. I have attended a wedding and surprised to see this kind of hall in a developed part of the city in Mylapore. It’s still maintained the same way as it was constructed, they got the space and as to be renovated. Open doors and windows good during the pandemic with fans instead of AC. Highlights: Paatu kacheri, Drone video man, Traditional food, Spacious hall and Long fan.Parking is poorly managed, no security to guide the people in parking. Our car got stuck as the bikes are parked in front of us, struggled to clear the bikes and got out after 30 minutes. If you attend a function and travel by your own car make sure to park in a place to take out easily. Gone back 20 years in life and remembered my teenage life. Perfect place for a covid protocol wedding.

This hall is best suited for middle class marriages , functions, birthday parties etc. The main hall is a medium sized hall which can easily accommodate 300 plus people. It is located in prime location, so it is easily accessible by bus or private vehicles . The entrance is built in such a way that it resembles AVM Rajeswari kalyana Mandapam. The parking is little cramped , it is difficult to take the vehicle when it is parked in front , there is no one to regulate it. The main hall is non a/c one , but it has many big doors through which air comes in very nicely from outside , which in turn cuts the necessity of A/C . There are couple of rooms available in the hall . The stage also is not small it is a good sized stage. Finally the dinning hall, it is bit smaller in size, but it is more than enough.

Calm area. All newly painted and new clothes were put from entrance and inside the Mandapam. Its ok for Middle class.

A peaceful auora surrounds this area.This is opposite to Velukudi Krishnan swamys residence.A moderately priced mandapam.Non ac.

More than 350 person capacity. Dinning area has 2 big halls. More than 100 capacity. Huge bike park area. Car parking for 15 to 20 cars. Huge free space for kids to play and for extra crowd. Traditional look and feel. Neat and tidy Mahal.

Ok place with 30 cars parking hall and dining hall in ground floor

I visited this place for Music concert. A spacious hall. The audience place is slightly elevated. May be due to this, the height of the entry to dining area is short. If one is not careful or look out, likely to get hurt. It is non AC hall. It is old but reasonably well maintained.

Spacious and decent for a crowd of 500-800 floating and seating included.

Strategically located. Went again in 2018 during the music season primarily for the sabha canteen run by Mountbatten Mani. Though pricey (INR 400 per person), lunch sappadu was like marriage feast menu served in Vazhai Illai. Like the kalyana sappadu, meal was unlimited but lot was wasted by most. A better option could be a limited budget meal.

I was here for a carnatic music concert. As a music venue it could use some improvements. These is a funny reflection of the sound as you hear the sound bounce off the back of the space.it is a good sized space though.

Nice open hall. Non AC, no parking, Indian loos. Fans are good enough in December when we went. Seating is ok different levels so you can see the stage from the back. Recommend you take public transport to get here and dont over dress!!

Went for the Margazhi season concert. Lack of car space is the first thing you get to notice. However a big spacious hall for both wedding or any function. Quite famous in the Mylapore area. Photo uploaded is the menu of Mountbatten mani Iyer sabha canteen food served here.

Not having proper dining place with full members

Situated in the cultural centre of Chennai, Mylapore. Medium sized hall with good amenities. Not air conditioned but well ventilated. Temperature was tolerable even in the height of summer. Limited car parking available. Additionally valet parking too available for additional vehicles.

Popularly known as Parathasarathy Swami Sabha. Good location but parking can be a bother. Hall acoustics are excellent for music concerts. Rest room facilities are decent. Seating is comfortable but be ready to put up with a few mosquitoes.

A regular visitor both for concerts and invitee at marriages. May not be state of the art but it has its own brand of old world charm. Truly Indian ambience. Warm and friendly. And genuine

During Margazhi month, this place converts into Parthasarathi Sabha, and the famous Mountbatten Mani runs the canteen here. The food here is really awesome and is a virtual treat for the vegetarian taste buds. Since there are no weddings in this season, this Kalyana Mandapam is used for concerts and canteen. 100% worth a visit during this time of year

Its a spacious kalyana mantap, ideally located in Mylapore. Auspicious place. Large space for dining.

A typically old style marriage hall with compact function hall and dining in the ground floor. With a small parking lot and rooms, this centrally located place is ideal for middle class marriage functions. The one negative is the place does not have air conditioning in the halls and summer time may be challenging.

This Kalyana Mandapam is located in Mylapore.There hall doesnt have AC, but atleast a couple of rooms do. The hall is nice and airy with a very neat dining area. There is sufficient parking, and the outside is really nice and filled with trees. The hall is also quite big

Lots of places available inside for fun activities, or available to create a set. Not multistorey building, but everything available in ground floor itself. 1000 people can join at a time here.

Musical concerts are conducted every year by SRI PARTHASARATY SWAMY SABHA (100 yrs oldest) in this Mandapam.Traditional dance Programmes, Conferences seminars, Bank Association meetings, Birthday Parties and School / College Annual Day programmes are also held here. The 27years old popular Mandapam is fully equipped and modern suited for all the above activities. The Marriage dias and dining hall are very accessible to the senior citizens coming on wheel chairs through the separate entrance and on same ground level. This place is a kalyana mandap that can be taken for hire for any function during music season a Sabha hires it for about15-20 days for conducting their programmes.dtsgr is just ok.same with the seatings.a lot can be done to improve it
