The restaurant is located in a prime location in Medavakkam exactly just opposite to Jayachandran. They have big parking facility on the ground floor and dining on the first floor. When entered, marinated meats will be displayed on the left. They welcomed us good and provided seatings without any delay. Even when the restaurant is not crowed we have to call them sevaral times to place the order. After waiting for some time the food arrived one by one. Taste was ok and quality was good but a bit pricey. Presentation was ok. Starters are good. Mandi was little bit dry for my taste. Overall a good experience as there were no big restaurants on that strech.

I like it when Chennai restaurants takes a bold move away from the regular hit dishes like Roti and Briyani. Palmshore is one such restaurant that decided to move towards such challenges by offering a Mediterranean Indian dishes. The Medavakkam branch is exactly opposite Jayachandran. Only after then I noticed that this surrounding area along the stretch of Velachery Tambaram Main road hardly has any good restaurants. Another bold move to be the first few big restaurants in this area. The restaurant has car parking and bike parking on the ground level but very few slots. May be around 7 car parking slots. On a busy day this would be hardly enough.Entering inside the restaurant, the first thing that catches your eye are those marinated meats in the glass box. The next big thing that catches your attention are those colourful sit down booths were you can sit down with family or a group of friends and have your meal the traditional Arabian way. Really cool move Palmshore! The menu has a ton of meat options. The rice varieties are limited to Mandi and A few Dum Biriyanis. I hardly remember seeing any regular dishes like rotis or noodles and that’s a good thing. We want to see more of these speciality restaurants in Chennai. And remember to NOT bring your vegetarian friends here this time. Vegetarians are sure to get disappointed.We got some bbq chicken, fish polichathu, goat Mandi and mutton dum Biriyani. The BBQ chicken was PERFECT. Never could remember eating anything by as juicy as this chicken in a LONG time. The fish polichathu came as a disappointment as the fish felt dry and chewy. The mandi is quite unique. It is a hard sell for our spicy chennai palates. I wish they could have twisted the Mandi by adding spicy or creamy sauces that appeals us rather than the dry flavoured rice. The biriyani though good was not excellent.Overall it’s a must try restaurant for first timers to check out the ambiance and the unique menu offerings. The restaurant also falls on the expensive side costing close to Rs.1200 for two. Sadly, I don’t see myself coming back repeatedly.

I went for dinner and it was really good. It was crowded since it was Christmas time. They were not able to serve me at expected time. But other than that food was really good. Its a little bit expensive but the taste its totally worth it.We were offered a free dish because of the time delays in the serving. This was a good gesture. Pepper Barbecue chicken is a must try here.

I visited Palmshore Medavakkam on 28th March with family for lunch. It was a Sunday and we had reserved a table beforehand. The decor was simple in the FFloor where we were seated. We had arrow chicken as starter. It was fresh and tasty.Next came in Arayis Lebanani which looked like stuffed paratha but was burnt and tasted bad.Having read various good reviews on the Mandi rice served in Palmshore, we went for the chicken Mandi ,which was a great disappointment. The rice lacked taste & flavour and was a bland accompaniment for the barbequed chicken.The chicken almondine sizzler was unique and tasted good . For dessert the tender coconut pudding was really nice.Palmshore restaurant offers a choice of Arabian dishes no doubt. But we surely do not want to visit the Medavakkam branch again because all through the lunch we had to use our left hands to shoo away flies.And that was really awful..

Taste was good, but there should be some one to allot table when we enter restaurant, I felt like as if I entered into some unknown person marriage.

Went for having dinner. Located in a bit crowded place. But it will not impact any dining experience.Food:1: Fish Fingers - Lip smacking. Must try.2: Shawarma - Nice in taste but little bit dry in texture. And sides are not pickled well. But you should give it a try.3: Arayis Labanani - Very nice in taste. Liked the flavour.4: Chicken Almondize Sizzler - All good experience went down. It was very dry. The chicken outermost layer was a bit dry. Rice was also bit dry for misplacement over Sizzler.Ambiance and Service :The ambiance and service personnels are very nice and welcoming. Very nice place to dine out.Cons: Please get rid of the flies problem. Its very annoying to dine while flies are flying.

Party hall is big enough for 200 pax +. Parking space is limited. Food was good.

The Outlet is quite big where the ground floor had quite a decent parking space while the first floor was the dining area with a seating capacity of 60 odd ppl in addition to the 3 majlis seating of another 20 ppl in total.. The Normal seating is quite comfortable in itself.. And the interiors are same any other outlet of theirs simple yet elegant with a royal look.. Perfectly cooled and since its new had no other issues..The Service was top notch.. Our plan was just to try some iftiar boxes or haleem and then have some shawarma and stuff but once we got to our table they inquired us if we are here to break the fast and in no time some cut fruits and fried items along with their famous Arabian Pulpy orange reached our table.. Kudos to this service.. The point of serving food for iftiar was a kind gesture.. Mr.Balaji the Manager was one of the best person i have encountered in the restaurant business in recent days and the server Mr.Ashish too was good.. was always there to attend us..So after iftiar and namaz(They do have option for it) we ordered the following things..Karimeen Polichathu (rs120/100gms) : This one was too good..400-450 gms of fish which i guess was pomfret was served wrapped inside a banana leaf..Piping hot and quite aromatic.. The Fish was quite good in taste with the meat being so juicy and tender and had the flavor till the last bit...Dynamite Shrimps (rs380) : Couple of ppl on our table dont have fish and hence we had ordered a dynamite shrimps for them.. To be frank this is a non veg variant for the Cajun Spicy potato served at barbeque restaurant.. Shrimps crispy fried and mixed with tandoori mayo of sorts.. Had just one bite of it and i must tell i was really good and i liked it very much..Raan Mandi (rs1390) : This one was in my wish list for quite sometime now.. Atlast had the occasion and appetite to try it.. They claim it serves 4 ppl but we a grp of 6 were satisfied with it considering our other orders too...The Raan was perfectly cooked and the meat too was so tender and so well cooked that it was literally falling off the bones.. The rice too was flavorful and complimented the meat really well.. Sides like Dates pickle and spicy sauce were served of which the dates pickle was a perfect side to the mandi and something thats worth trying...Mandi is a Definite try here if you have an occasion and ppl to enjoy it..Murgh Musallam Half (rs275) : Half a chicken cooked in a yummy gravy with a lots of nuts ad topped with cashews too.. The Chicken was well cooked and was really good taste.. Also served along with it was some aromatic rice which worked out pretty well with the chicken..Spl Falooda Small (rs160) : Finished off the meal with this yummy falooda which had avil, flakes,lots of nuts and ice cream.. Topped with a yummy mango ice cream was literally icing on the cake and i quite like it..Palmshore as already said is close to me and with this experience it only gets closer.. The Food and the service were just perfect and no complaints whatsoever in both the departments.. As far as i know Medavakkam is a place with not many good dining options and the opening of this new outlet is kind of a blessing in disguise for this locality.. Definitely Recommended..

Had our wedding reception and buffet lunch at Palmshore Banquet hall - Medavakkam, facilitated by Amal and Roshan team, we had a hearty experience, the food tasted excellent, utmost satisfied with the coordination and hospitality, the ambience was superb, very classy and neat, with elevators and restrooms located at the right place, easy for elderly people to use, overall, would definitely refer to anyone who is looking for a good venue under budget with 5 star worth amenities.

This is my second time here to this branch .. I’ve experienced a very good hospitality . Especially Mr Simon made us very comfortable with the choice of order and about the recipe… only one thing which I missed here is kunafa the Arabian sweet which I had in santhome branch

Food quality and taste are really good. Nice ambience in small scale. Service is very worst and delivery time more worst. No system maintained to cover each table. Dont plan on weekends and Wednesdays.. Huge crowd and service not planned properly.. Very less car parking. Most of the peoples are north indians and north east peoples. If you dont know hindi or english to communicate, very difficult to make them understand..

Located at a prime location just opp to jeyachandran textiles, pallikarnai. Authentic Arabic style foods available in large varieties. Starting from veg to non veg and upto desserts you have everything you would like for in a good treat. If you are a family of four or five then you can prefer mandi biryani for sure. The seating arrangement for that gives a feel of royalty. There is ample parking space for your two and four wheelers. A must try place if you havent tried it yet.

Food was best. The Roshni chicken biryani was one of the best dish ..But the main reason for 4star is for service.We asked water for more than 3 times we received it when we were going to depart..We ordered some platters and starters to eat but we didnt receive the sufficient mayonnaise..But other than service it was a masterpiece!!!

I had chicken Mandi , the rice was soo flavourful as they had added spices like cloves etc etc.. menu was elaborate. Serving was good but they had confusion regarding Zomato pro it would be good if they sort it out

Poor serviceThe food quality was pathetic during my visit.They cant manage crowd during weekends.No covid19 protocols followed anywhere.You can see footwear around the restaurants every where since they offer low-lying dinning option and the customers opt for this option remove the footwear in front of your dining table, a bit awkward experience.Poor parking options, very poor entrance, damaged due to bridge or storm water construction work.Overall looks messy inside and outside.

Ambience is good, tried mandi briyani, briyani taste and flavor is different (unlike regular basmati briyani taste), but mutton meat is not really enjoyable. The best part is majili (to sit in floor and enjoy the food).

Im Vishal,I ordered chicken fried rice in swiggy from Medavakkam Palm shore on 18September.Very worst food quality, and using old oil and more ajino Moto. And I found many plastic pieces in it. So pls do check the food cuz kids may eat without recognising it

Biriyani seems good but service is bad . we have to wait like 15 min for our food (this maybe due to corona ) . Ordered an ice cream but it melted (literally ) so service is too bad . Best place for family gatherings

The place is well maintained. Parking available. One of the best restaurant in this locality. They have a wide range of menu. Tried their mutton shoulder. It was at its best. Loved their dragon potato. A must try if youre going for veg starters. Their butter naan is one of the best i have ever had. So soft. Tender coconut pudding is a must try.

Ample parking space, place is kept neatly inside and the dining experience was good. Option to sit on the floor as group to dine is good. Taste and quality of food is good. Only A-la-carteis available, the price of items are on the higher side it came more than a buffet cost per person for my group.

Management needs to train all their waiters properly...Non-tamil speaking waiter we got was very poor in communication and his knowledgeof dishes was almost zero...Then a Tamil speaking waiter came and resolved the issues..Still food quality was very average..

First of all I am not paid reviewer. I had multiple dishes when hotel started it was awesome but cost effective. But went 2 days back , even you people serve the food to dog they wont eat. Ordered chicken thanduri and prawn fried rice. U never eat or taste prawn like that before it was worst . Thanduri also not good. Suggest everyone you pay and eat so if not good throw the dishes on them face. Try better place for food hangout

This is a restaurant where I never get tired of except there are some items been missing since my last visit. Mandi is still perfect and I would enjoy it all the time. With shrimp dynamite.

Tried their Mandi special. We chose the half plate chicken Mandi. It is served with 2 peices of chicken on it and with 4 chutney sides. The presentation is really good and loved the taste of the food. The rice could have been better and spicier. We were served complimentary watermelon juice which was really sweet of them. You can have the Mandi sitting on the table or the Arabian style. Both are comfortable. The service is really good. Must try once.
