I would give only 4 stars because they dont have few books that are prescribed in colleges. They have foreign and local authors for the same subject in good condition. Staffs are always polite and answer our queries properly.They will give individual ID cards for the renters. If lost one should pay ₹50 on second time.They have different schemes to rent books. Before that you have to make initial deposit that varies with the scheme. As far as I know one can take 6 books in classic scheme for ₹600 and 9 books on diamond scheme for ₹900. If you refer someone you will get ₹200 per person.Except Tuesdays the Woking time is from 4pm to 7:30pm in weekdays. On Saturdays it is open from 10am to 7pm. On Sundays only from 10am to 1pm.

Dont join....its just waste of time and money... they vil not provide not even updated books if we ask for updated books we wont get in time....so totally waste..even the caution deposit amount is given after the completion of engineering ..we have to apply for the refund amount and wait For 1 month to get it collected from them..just irritated...think..

Poor response. I remembered my friend tried hard to get a foreign author book and ended in buying it second hand @moore market.because of their lack of notification. Refunding of caution deposit to takes lot of time and patience. Most of the numbers provided by MV book and its branches are out of service. I got books for 5 semester and declined their service due to lack of on time service.

Good place to rent books. They ll also lend arrear books if you want. But the reality and what they do differs a lot.

This is the worst book bank you can ever find in chennai.These people give fake promises and later make you beg for books .Whenever you call them their stock answers are always one of these 1)no delivery boys2) Come to Tambaram for books 3)Your college is far away.If u dont want peace of mind join this book bank.

Will seem like a good place to get books. But it is a total waste of money. Youll get only foreign authors here. Utter waste if you spend here for the last semester.

Since it is situated in between Tambaram and Tambaram Sanitorium, it is very difficult for the public transport users. The book bank is located on the second floor of the building.

Worst book bank ever. They dont have enough books needed for students and they dont have any authorised authors. And at last they will create problems to return your caution deposit. Waste of money. Dont be a member here.
