ARROGANT GUYS. My Denon Amplifier, Polk Audio Speakers were bought from ProFx. When there was a problem with the Amplifier they wanted me to replace it at Rs 70000 saying it cant be serviced. Another Home Theatre seller in Chennai serviced same Amplifier for Rs 10000. TRYING TO RIP OFFWhen asked for email of Proprietor service guy refused to share. In India you can email PM, CMs, any Large Corporate Head but you cant email ProFx Proprietor / Partner!!! HIGHLY ARROGANT, BAD ATTITUDE. THINK TOO MUCH OF THEMSELVESEVEN WHEN I TOLD SERVICE GUY I WILL GIVE BAD REVIEWS BECAUSE OF HIS ATTITUDE, THERE WAS NO RESPONSE! BAD ATTITUDE

CAUTION! Service is not equal to Sales!!!I am not a technical person, but this is a fact. I got a Denon 1200 one and a half years ago. It was all good initially and sales person was fantastic.A month ago, there was an issue with the power button, which switched off on its own. So I called the nice gentleman and told the issue. The rest is as follows:1. There is a service center only in Bangalore, so you need to pack and send it to Bangalore.2. They called me after 3 days and told that one of the HDMI port of Denon is not working. I asked, why. The technical person told me that my house has got fluctuating power supply. I told him that I have a “servo stabiliser” (Rs 10,000) attached to the amp. So now he told me that it could be due to a lightning / thunder and it traveled from DTH to my denon. I told him that it’s HOT summer here and we didn’t have rains since January. So as the act of God has been ruled out, he was not sure how it got busted.3. I got a call from the sales team and they told me that the entire board has to be replaced. I asked, why cant the HDMI port alone be replaced? He said that those days, they used to have separate HDMI ports, but now its all glued to the mother board. (Marketing/business strategy)...remember this is all about Denon and not ProFx.4. How much does it cost? Rs 23,000. That is too much for me, so I asked for other options. Unfortunately there is no option. Buy Back will give me 4000 for getting another Denon Amp.5. Pioneer, Yamaha, Onkyo, etc.,. Is all the same. Investing 50K for an AMP with no guarantees for more than a year is terrible choice.My take: Go for a cheaper amp, as there is no fool proof good product / or a good, honest service center for these International brands.Remember Electronic fault is always our fault / Act of God and not manufacturers poor quality of product.
