My trimmer is not working so I bought here for service , they checked my trimmer and told that the problem is in the battery and so u have to replace it, also said that the service cost will come around RS 550 , and the battery is currently unavailable the spare will come after 4 days , so I collect my trimmer to give them back after 4days , after the service person gave my trimmer to me I found that they have broken my trimmer and now the black color plastic on the top of my trimmer is not going inside properly. I took my trimmer with one problem and came back with 2 problems , they are not handling our materials properly with care , I asked about this to the service person there at the same time he told that it is not a problem It just got stucked, anyway you have to change the battery at the time will see that . Bad experience for me .

Really waste of time.. My 5.1 speaker system remote is not working. Also volume settings are reset when we power on again. I told them these issues.. They asked me to bring the speaker system and remote. When I reach service center, they told that remote not available and settings cannot be changed.. waste of time.. spent Rs600 for Cab to bring speaker system..

Not meeting my requirements

I visited this center to fix My Philips trimmer head nibbles. That part gone missing while cleaning inside of trimmer head. All good but spares cost is very high.

Went there for servicing the trimmer. Within 15 minutes the trimmer was serviced and the charges were also very reasonable.

Request you to establish a branch at Madipakkam which will be of much helpful to elderly people like me.

This is the worst service Center ever. I took my 1 month old food processor with a noise complaint and they gave it back to me the same way I gave it for repair. Nothing was done . NOTHING. And the staffs are very very lethargic. Poor customer service

I want to give 0 stars for this center.They are charging heavily for servicing trimmers. For batter replacement they are telling us to replace the entire bottom kit of the trimmer. Triming cap costs around 310 + 750 trimmer kit which is over and above 1000 rupees. But new trimmer with the same efficiency is available for 700 in the market.

Service is not free, even on guaranteed product which is under warranty date. Parking is not available. Even small service also they will charge. Its on main road side only easy to identify the place. Even though they charging, service is good can repair in less time. We can get Philips products also available.

Polite and prompt in answering calls

Went for servicing my trimmer. It just had a crack because of which they denied to repair and asked me to buy a new one. I just came back home and fixed it with a cellotape. Thats all it takes to repair it. They did wanted me to buy new one rather than repairing it. Seems like they are charging a little higher for every repair. Expecting better repairs and services please. There are other service centers as well in Chennai. Theres a retail outlet attached to this service center, this makes them to avoid repairing and asks for buying a new one instead.

Horrible people! They are dumb people who bring down the name of Philips. I had to get my trimmer repaired. I called and asked if they would do so. He replied yes. I went traveling all the way for 45mins. And when I reached there he said that they would not work on this model. And said that they were busy. Waste of time and effort! Really dumb people there..

This Philips service centre cheats the gullible by proposing dubious service solutions. These people declare that they had replaced the main board of 5.1 home theatre system, charge for the spares and service with a hefty bill, yet do not handover supposed to be defective main board to the customer. A curse on the reputation of Philips.

I have given my Philips iron box(GC1980/28, 1750W) for service. It was out of warranty. Thermostat got damaged. Before replacing the thermostat they informed me the price and asked my consent to do the work. Waited for 45 min and it is working fine now.

Thawas my old review 5 years back.Today on 18 th JUNE 2020 I do Want to review my own review.I had ordered one spare mixie jar and paid advance Rs 500 about 40 days back . Due to covid delivery was told to be delayed. But about 3 times when I visited the NEW GENERATION RECEPTION and current employees ask name , bill number and what item ordered and advance paid etc. This very clearly shows now THIS NEW GEN is not connecting with old customers who gave them this much popularity.Yesterday I asked the refund of 500/- and they said no collection and come next day/ I went today spending a liter of petrol in car, am old, cant drive a cyle. She still say come again after 2 hours . I had to shout and I found the lady speaks with so much of irreverence and ignorance as if she is the owner and come what may.So I am taking back the best service tags and it does not exist anymore. The old and experienced seconds selling person also left it seems.

Fraud cheaters, don’t give any product for service even under warranty. I gave headphone for service under warranty, there was no response even after two months, after four months and after 2 3 visits, they admitted that the problem is with their side(looks like Philips is not under their partnership). And finally I end up paying more money to get the same product. Never ever think of this service center and Philips brand.

Philips (& Gibson) sales and service centre except that they dont seem to service products that are covered under warranty. For that I was redirected to another centre near Satyam Theatre.

They are very harsh in handling the Customers, Even my Headset was problem but they not even have knowledge of which one is a physical damage, and they didnt get my headset from me.1 Star is more for them.
