Good services for aged people and also others. They attend to the people immediately you enter and solve your quaries and advise accordingly for the next. Nurses are very Cooperative including Reception. Thanks they should maintain the same in future as people visit with lot of expectation.

My grandma is a CGHS card holder. She had some medical issues and whilst going for a reimbursement all the staffs made her to come again and again (frequent & unnecessary) at her age. At one point we thought we dont want this money. Frustrated.

Eventhough doctors were good. No medicines will be on stock, even for severe cough, medicines requires to be indented and given to patient after 3 days. Patient has to suffer till that time.. Personal _experience...

A well organised dispensary for the Central Government Serving Officers & for the retired pensioners.Services Opens at 7.30 am and closes at 1400 hrs (2pm)The attendance of the senior citizens seems to be predominant.I am a senior citizen visiting this hospital for me & my wife for eye treatments mainly.I visit often for Siddha/ Ayurvedic Medicines.Though I have been a member under this Scheme with subscription I happen to visit this Dispensary only after 4 years of my retirement. The doctors are receptive and prescribe the medicines after investigations. The polyclinic is functional from 0730 to 1000 for blood analysis for Sugar etc. for “Postprandial” sugars samples are taken two hours after meals and the test would not be completed & result given before the close of the Laboratory.Normally the blood samples are given before 9 am so that after meals samples can be given by 1100 am and get the result by 1 pm.EYE Specialist: this facility is available at this dispensary on three days of the week Tuesday, Thursday, Friday on prior appointment online(now)There are more patients especially the seniors /pensioners requiring eye care. This centre is nominated for Eye Care from all other centres of the city as well as the out stations. There is only one doctor available .He is very true to his service; he manages two centres (another at KK Nagar) - so, is unable to consult /attend to all the patients visiting on a particular day. After fixing the no. of patients to be attended online the list is limited to about 30 per day - so we do not get immediate appointment within 3 weeks - it is always full for 3 weeks. The CGHS admn do not post an exclusive Eye Doctor for the centre...though the demand is very high for this specialist. There are Siddha Clinic, Ayurveda Clinic and Homeopathic Clinic.People who are aware of the side effects or affected by the side effects of Allopathy go for these alternative systems. There are also Skin Specialist, Medical Specialist, ENT Specialist whose services can be had on prior appointment both manual or online. The CMO - Chief Medical Officer-in-charge refers the complicated patients to the nominated /empanelled Hospitals in the City for taking Hospitalised advanced Special Treatments or Surgery -The image list of Empanelled hospitals & Diagnostic Centres are attached. The latest update may be checked for some hospitals validity ends after a period. Or go to the CGHS site for updates. Please say if you find this information useful for you my friends!
