A sure shot food at midnight. Though the dine in is closed they cater for take aways late at night. The name of the restaurant is night express but not sure why it is named as midnight express in Google map 😁. Taste and quality is decent. Price is ok but it is not on the lower side.Updated review: I had given 4 star but now bringing it down to 3 because of the recent experience. This time I had received a spoilt food. Chilli fish and chicken lollipop were almost gone. A restaurants purpose is to provide quality food but they missed it.

One of the best quick bites I have seen in Chennai. Very fast & 1 roll is more than enough for a dinner. You get to choose Parotta roll or Chapathi roll provided you ask the same, by default its Parotta roll. Will cost 100/- change for a quick supper

Best place to have south Indian food at midnight. The ideal time to go there would be after a few beers with friends. The dosa with fish gravy is a must try. The service is super fast. The place sometimes tend to get a little crowded. The biryani is just average. The chettinadu prawns is just too good, ask them to make it extra spicy. The price is not too costly. Best is to go as a group.

It seems like they packed what ever is left out.For taste I would give 3 or even 4 starBut for service I would rate negative .

A reasonable place for South Indian especially Chettinad varieties. Ordered mutton Keema dosa, chicken Kari dosai, vada Kari & paya. The seasoning was neither strong nor bland, lacked a bit of punch in heat. Paya was mild, suitable for people who appreciate creaminess. Idiappam was ordered later , which was wholesome & fresh of the steamer - loved it immensely. All together a good place but lacks character

Open till mid night. You get tiffen items. I tried chicken kheema dosa and egg dosa. Tale away is the best option as the seating is too low and not hygienic. They close the shutter around 12:00 But you can still order and eat.

Disappointed with the food ... I have had dinner at times in this hotel. Usually i like eating there . But last time when I ordered food dosa with chicken kolambu(curry) as takeaway , I found a dead cockroach floating in the chicken curry. I have no idea how the kitchen is maintained . Ordered through Swiggy. Parota kurma. Im a vegetarian and they gave me chicken which i realised halfway through eating. I had clearly marked the veg only option on swiggy before ordering.

A decent place to eat at midnight. It gets quite crowded as its in a prime area. The menu doesnt offer you much variety. Just the idly, Kheema dosas, Kotthu Parottaa, Biriyanis, some seafood and the likes. The taste was good and satisfying. But the service was not at their best when we visited. We were served water only at the time of paying our bill. Also they dont seem to serve drinks/juices on all days. My suggestion would be to use this place as a takeaway only restaurant.

Worst restaurant in Chennai. 1) No proper veg stuff. 2) Not even the idly chutney was good. 3) Ambiance - sorry, cannot even rate it as average. 4) Service - pathetic. Staff were half sleepy at 11pm. Not even 3 tables were full but no one was there to attend and take order. Ordered for chicken keema dosa and got mutton keema dosa.
