Very costly. Not much customers for this hotel. Taste is good. Overall dining table presentation was nice. But they lack the ambience, food which we order takes time to be served. The hotel management should improve on their timely service and ambience. Rest the food quality and quantity is good. Recommended for the above two good features.
Excellent place to get authentic Punjabi cuisine. Rates are reasonable and quality is good
Perfect north indian punjabi food place. Authentic punjabi food and their taste is yummy. Been here multiple times and its worth it. Must try is their tandoori, paneer and lassi. Ambiance is a little different from any other normal restaurants. A nice place for people planning for family outings and lunch dates with friends.
Ok
Nice food available for north indian food lovers in chennai. Prices are average 500 for 2, Ambience is old style and very less crowd.
Simple and quiet place amazing foods.. try at once. Many different menu, and bevarages.once u visit this place
Restaurant has seen better days in terms of quality of food, service and ambience. I ordered the butter naan, roti, Punjabi chicken masala, prawns crumbed with cheese dip and Hakka chicken noodles along with a fresh lime soda and masala lemon soda. Both the Punjabi chicken masala and prawns were on the salty side
Food wasnt too great and there was literally no service what so ever
Tasty food with nice ambience for a business meet or a leisure family time. Price is moderate. Obsolutely a great place to enjoy your relaxed pace than a quick bite here.
Food was good.. but items Ordered came randomly.Like soup order and ordered for starters.Starters came in 1st. Took 15 mins -20 mins for soup. But later other items came quickly.Price was really good. Looks costly initially. But 4+ it would cost ₹500 on an avg.
Nice taste 👌 but slightly costly and mainly deal in online orders
Shabby place but 3 stars for food. Ate like a pig. Its on 1st floor so look up if youre even looking for its sign board. Served north Indian food and tandoori chapati. Yum yum
Taste wise good... But food serving time is tooooooooooooo long. Dont go for biryani. Except that everything is good.
It doesnt have much rush. The food is decent. The service is slow.
Value for money restaurant, not much crowded and service was average too, good place to have a peaceful meal with family or to hangout with friends too, usual average dhaba experience and nothing much to boost about this place. Do not go with high expectations!
Tast should improve.service must improve. Average food with moderate cost. A/ C not working.
Ambiance seems old, but food is good
Dishes are priced high. Chicken manchurian lollipop has only four pieces for ₹300 with more of flour than flesh. Naan is just the size of chapathi. Takes long time to serve. Seats are just wood which is not comfortable. Understand its dhabba but prices are not so. I would not suggest this place to anyone
I tried Lucknow veg biryani . It could have been better . They had too much of corns and rice quantity was less. Ambience is good and pricing is ok. Service can be better. When you looking for a perfect dhaba experience I dont recommend this place . But its worth giving it a try once with your friends or family .
Good food. Ambience could be better. A lot better!! No car parking.
Cons : I was shocked to know that they DO NOT serve Thali in restaurant!! You can get Thali only as a parcel here. So If you are looking for traditional Dhaba food please look somewhere else. Its like you go to Pizza Hut and other than pizzas all items can be ordered for dinning. Huge disappointment!!Pros: Despite their poor ambiance and unclean toilet, you might like to visit this place again because the food tastes really good. Most of the items except Raita are authentic. You get the feeling of eating an authentic Punjabi food. Makki Ki Roti was the star for me.
The quality has deteriorated. Ambience is horrible. Running short of staff.
Good times. Ambience needs improvement. Food is good
Not a good place to go. Wrong choice. They are focused on serving online customers. Average food quality and service though rates are higher
The decor is not maintained well... restaurant needs maintenance
Food service is quick but oily. Interiors are different and charming.
Food are good Taste and service are good the place r not good its look old in setup are with more dust
I bought a takeout here. Called at 10:30pm and they had it prepared when i reached. Food quality was great.
Cheap and best for veg buffet (nice place to spend time with loved ones)
Pls note that menu vs really servered will be different and they will charge GST as well as 9%servuce charge. How come SC along with gst
A true veg delight. One should try corn methi Malai and chilly garlic potato. But the atmosphere could have been better. Had the trouble of mosquitoes.
Not an authentic Punjabi place as name suggests, all the food had Chinese or Cantonese flavor attached to it. Not Air conditions, careful is you are having anything spicy in the hot and sultry Chennai weather
The ambiance was very nice but the quality of the food was not up to the mark.
Food is good but the ambience is not that much impressive
Visited twice. Great North Indian food.
Went for dinner and had a great experience. Taste was good.
Located near the overbridge near T Nagar. If you are fond of vegeterian food and cozy place, this place is for you. Place is not that much light but you will get a old feel here with tree trunk style of chairs and table. Compararively daytime less rush. Food quality is good and quantity is enough for two people. Price also average. Staffs are helpful. Do visit if you want to taste something different.
Nice food roti and non veg items.different ambience
Once upon a time, this was a good place to have the real Punjabi food, but now it is totally run down and I strongly recommend people to stay away.
Great place to go with family and friends though a little expensive it is Asli punjabi khana
This is Permanently Closed
Very calm place and food taste are homely
Good, but service not upto the level
Good ambience,well maintained,good taste,Best for North dishes
Food is quite tasty. Veg lovers, try panner tikka for its soft, juicy and smoky flavor. For non-veg lovers, try mutton saag.
Chicken dhaba fry is awesome. You can feel like KFC chicken. Mango lasi is also good
Never expected cockroaches in my plate. I went to this hotel yesterday for lunch with my colleague. we ordered for roti and to my surprise a cockroach came out running from my roti. The worst part is when I informed the hotel manager(who saw the cockroach on my plate) he silently gave me another plate to eat without even a sorry and the waiters were laughing. Had a horrible experience. They were least bothered about the problem and were acting as if nothing happened. Request you all to avoid eating at Sachin ka Dhaba.
Nice ambience and north indian food
Tastes yummy.. at affordable price..
Great paneer kadai and roti. Food is Punjabi style.
Best place to have food near nungambakkam
A very good place for tandoori food.... If you are not keen on the ambience, you can definitely visit this place!
Good food but need more improvement in service and ambience. Place needs some renovation.
Table Service in restaurant is very bad, when I enquired why do they delay so much for each order while the restaurant was quite empty with hardly 10 people dining the supervisor informed that the kitchen is busy with online orders and they have to deliver them more quickly....Weird.
Nice food... authentic north indian taste
Good food plus worst service equals overall pathetic experience.
Its so costly for that taste. egg burgi for 90 bugs in that place is so costly.
Food quality was horriblePlace wasnt well ventilatedThe washrooms were completely untidy
Good north Indian food at decent price
Yesterday, I visited this place with my family. You have a place to park 5 two wheelers and not more than that. The dining hall is not clean and tidy. The service was pathetic, the way they took the order reminded me like why you guys come here to eat, dont you have any other place to go. I ordered for lucknowi chicken biryani and it was served at room temperature and the taste is not so good. I asked for hong kong chicken, which is on the menu. The gravy taste is average, but the chicken is not fully cooked. I told them either to cancel the order or bring the properly cooked one. but they refused to do so. Since I dont want to create a scene, I told them clearly that this will be my last visit to your hotel and I am not going to recommend it to anyone.I prefer to give zero rating, but I dont have the option. I advise it not a worthy place to visit.
Good food quality
North Indian food quality is best, Chicken varieties and Noodles are good, but manchurian varieties are worst taste.Price : Costly.
The place is rustic.... Food wasnt great at all...the AC wasnt on..
Super tasty food for grilled chicken
Food was ok. Suitable for a day when youre craving for North Indian food. Starter items like paneer tikka, chicken tikka were good, rogan josh was interesting. Roti was ajeeb - neither tandoori nor tawa. Lassi was satisfying. Service - delayed. Overall OK experience
Food is okay.. Probably just fits into the category of value for money.
1 star- for the Grills and Tandoori which were very good.Worst Food,Doesnt look hygienic at all.The plates were silver and smelled previous eaten foods by some customer.
Food is okay. I been to the place around 2.30pm. most of the varieties are empty and they not bothering to fill. Confirm before going their on the varieties
Good place for a fast meal
Biryani taste very worst.....!😂. Don’t waste your money plz.........
Still good but not what it was earlier
Good food but dim lighting.
Good place to eat all variants
Pls advertiser your self that you are there in Kodambakkam
Good Punjabi north indian food
A great veg. buffet
Non veg dishes are Soo good.. especially the fish items!
Evening refresh oru inji tea
Good food enjoy it
Good place to have Punjabi foods
Good to have thanduri items
Fish dishes are mouth watering :)
If there is a option to select 0 star I would have gone for that option. Thats how my experience was. This is the last time Im stepping there.
Try chicken tandoori and bhangra pepsi
A pleasant place..
Food is okay. Dont expect much. The prices are slightly on the upper side.
Food is okish but worth for 180 bucks
Check the items if u r taking parcels, because they can cheat u by giving less no of items...
Taste was quite good ..
Tooo costly... With no quantity... Quantity was poor...
Food was too good
It was so old and its so terrific like an horror house
Good dhaba restaurant
