A2B quality is good compared to other chains.One of the biggest resturant chains in South India.Provide High Quality Sweets , snacks and Vegetarian Foods.South Indian Food is priced relatively better compared to North Indian Foods , which is on higher side.Taste wise you will not regret anything.1 star removed because of High pricing.

There are no adequate number of chairs for table Service. The orders also take more time to prepare the dishes.

At 9:30 AM, which is very much a morning, I wonder why there is not one single soul sitting there to eat. And then it takes 15 minutes for them to serve me water and ask what I want. Then I understand a bit. The manager rudely tells me that there is only one waiter serving the entire restaurant. I understand even more. The dosa comes in and it tastes pathetic. I understand a tad more. Nobody is wearing a mask during the corona time. I understand even a bit more. And then I go to pay, and I had to wait 15 minutes to find the cashier. Perhaps they thought they dont deserve the money or should I say, I fully understand now?

In around 3 to 4 km distance from Tindaiyarpet clock tower this is best hotel for Veg. The hotel attached with sweet and snacks counter.You could get variety of Tiffin, lunch, dinner menus with both Indian and Chinese.Sightly noisy inside of hotel always.But, fully Air-conditioned.

Except the food, rest everything was below the mark...Poorly lit, old furniture, bad interiors...The supervisor was arrogant in behaviour with customers & staff too, talking in high pitch tone..If you go there, just eat & leave, ignore everything else...😂

When you are wandering for good hotels in Tondiarpet, you can find this because of the renowned hotel. They need to improve services especially hygienic. Rest room is too small and not maintained properly, there could be parking available only for two wheelers and not for cars. Its on the main road but ever busy traffic road. Crossing the road is quite difficult.

Quality of sweets ..

Customer service for dine in customer shall be better. We are not paying less or more when it comes to billing, but management should consider all their location with same approach and behavior form their staff. Please train your staff to be attentive, polite and professional (at least in this branch). Please dont ask for PIN number of debit card while making payment for heaven sake.

Comparing other A2B its average food taste and poor food service

The typical old(may be first - not sure) A2B that has been officially operating since I know in North Chennai. Taste remains the same everywhere and this place is no different. Located at the densely populated popular place of washermanpet which is easily accessible from washermanpet metro and bus stop.

They introduced a new dosa called Singles Dosa and in there brochure it available from 10/02/2020 to 16/02/2020 so I travel adyar to try that dosa but they simply say its unavailable we stopped it . They only treat the food vloogers.Damn I didnt expect that from A2B. I wasted a day

I have visited many A2B. But the ambience, food varieties, taste, service quality of tondiarpet is not good. For example when u have ur food at Triplicane A2B you feel that u r in a 2 star hotel but in Tondiarpet A2B u would feel that u r in a ordinary hotel. In evening u will have only chappati, dosa and nan as dinner and for lunch u have only one type of meals available where as in Triplicae u have varieties of meals available. Now in Tondiarpet they have sticked a notice that North Indian meals are also available. But special type of meals are not available. Generally if we eat a special meals with additional curry like manjurian, fry etc it costs 400 rs. You can even have a buffet at this price in Hotel Matsya. With Rs 750 u have the option of hotel barbecue nation, absolute barbecue etc

Hindi supervisor not so polite, Kolkatai is only in menu, they say they have stopped it , and half of that part of menu not available , poli tasted same as other A2B , bike parking is their.
