Decent ambiance, both inside and outside. The outdoor could have been cleaner.Went for breakfast and was satisfied with the taste. The choices were limited but the food was tasty. If it was not for the flies, it would have been a pleasant experience.Loved the store and they have a lot of stuff and a lot of them were prepared in-house under the Tryst brand.P.S. Do something about the flies.

A bit over rated I felt. The food looked like the stuffing was frozen stuff that was heated/fried. Definitely the bakery items were fresh but the restaurant didnt feel worth the money. Maybe post covid they are getting things in order. I feel can do better for the price

Always a good time here. The food is amazing and there is a place to sit outside. If you love cats then youll love it because they have domestic cats who are very friendly. The BBQ beef burger is one of the best Ive had in the city. You can also pick up any drink you like from the counters and go with your food. Good parking for both two and 4 wheelers. Peaceful place.

Since I returned to Chennai many friends suggested this place for a good food and chilling with family and friendsI have explored so many places in ECR and everytime I pass by this cafeI have bought some of their cakes and desserts on the go but dining was pending. Whatever I bought on the go was nice. Their eclair, cakes and breads. Nothing overwhelming but niceToday after hoisting the flag and it was around 930 so decided to visit tryst cafe to have something like a brunch. Called them before leaving and they said dining is there and breakfast available.As soon as I enter, I politely asked a staff, can I take pictures of the cakes and desserts. He declined not sure why. After I mentioned and showed my social media pages, he agreed to take pics.First thing you notice is every staff is walking up and down busily but nobody mentioned where to sit and gave the menu. What will a 8yr kid and vegetarian like to have ? Either waffle or pancake with maple syrup. Unfortunately both were not available. The staff suggested French toast as it is same like waffle and pancake. Didnt understand the logic but said okay.My wife is vegetarian and asked for veg options. Hash brown is the only veg dish was the response. I was baffled because while entering I saw too many things.I go to counter and see Quiche and saw them making Pizza so ordered. He said order should be given from table. Returned and the staff said you have to order from the counter. I was like whats happening. Communication gap between 4 staffs who were present at that time.Finally Quiche and veg pizza arrived. In fact the only dish everyone enjoyed was the rectangle pizza. Quiche was ok could have more cheese and herb. French toast was okay and scrambled egg was cold.After 20mins I reminded the staff that there is no cutlery and he gets it. Same with salt and pepper.I am sorry, I came with a huge expectation but experience was not even close. The desserts are good, cakes are very nice and we also got some take away. But the staffs could do a better work. While stepping out I saw a person eating beef burger but it wasnt there in the menu and nobody informed.May be we went very early so the staff werent prepared or this place is only good for delivery. Dining is not their forte.Spent almost 1.7k for this and guess what. We went to a proper breakfast place and ate dosa, idli and coffee. Thats when we were content. Bill was less than 50% of what Tryst Cafe charged ,🙄May be it was one bad day in office but unfortunately it is what it is.

The best place to try out fancy food. If you are looking to go for a date and budget is not a problem... look ko further. This place is great. Try the bagels... they are too good

Do want to rate it, it was bad, too much of mustard sauce in it.4>Fish and chips. 5 out of 5 for French fries, 3 out of 5 for fish fry.5> mac and shack beef burger.3 out of 56>Turkey bacon burger. 3 out of 5.Overall would rate it below average, prices are high compared to the quality of food being served. Most of the food items we felt it was reheated and not prepared fresh.Definitely wouldnt recommend going there.

They launched their breakfast menu the day we decided to drop in. The French toast Is to kill for...so light and spongy and melting in the mouth.Great food and has an ample store to stock up as well.

Service was slow but the waiter was very polite. Sit outside only if you are a cat parent. I saw 7 beauties lounging around. I am and I enjoyed every minute. Lovely outdoor seating. Not too many options on the menu though. Cool place to just smoke, catch a quick burger and chill. Their chocolate truffle is worth a mention.

Its really not worth the money.It was soggyNot firm enough to hold itself.Taste is jz ok jz like any other normal hangoutsNot a place for burgers. They have a variety of imported gourmet. The dining is by GO BRGR. Theres not table service available. The cats are pretty friendly. The vineyard, if maintained properly, would have been very instagramable.

Food is decent as other cafe , good place to spend time with friends , cats are fine but rat ???? You will one or two big rats around for which is find of unhygienic. Recently bought croissant and a pain au chocolat. It was just amazing. Have tried so many croissants from various places but i think thiers is the best i have liked as yet. I am a very picky person and i get disappointed very easily of things are not what they are supposed to be. These were amazing.They have a variety of items and would love to go back and try more

Loved this place for its decent ambience. Lot of #cats 🐈🐱 allround and sleeping on the tables gives a good experience. Its connected with shopping area too. I feel that food is expensive. Live #music and open TV gives a feel good experience to watch cricket and tennis. I recommend this place for its ambience and a beautiful garden view 🏞.

Wonderful ambiance inside the cafe its was sooo good. The preserved and dessert item are good but the only one thing that disappointed me the parking area was so rush I cant able to park my two wheeler itself. Its a best place to visit in the ecr.

Not sure if it is the pandemic effect....... the place had very little food options across only burgers. I was totally let down with the reviews and menu online, that I went to this place Apologized to them and left the place, hoping to get back on one of their glorious days.

Tried Mushroom Quiche - Pretty good!

We had the worst experience here.. Would definitely not recommend this place if you are planning to take your pet along with you. They say its a pet friendly place but the Staffs here are not friendly with pets. They have the entrance to the cafe locked up and say we have to enter through the bakery in front.. and when we do, they say dogs are not allowed inside the bakery because it would scare the bakerys customer. How would we enter the cafe if you lock up the direct door to the cafe..! And the food..!? Only burgers were available. And the service here was bad. They dont serve things from the bakery to the cafe and the cafe had nothing available. And we cant go to the bakery with our dog to get thr food for ourselves.. is this what you people call pet friendly? Please remove that tag from your cafe..!

This is Iranian based cuisine, with some platters available in Persian and Continental preparation. Ambience of this place is awesome. Food was served quick and it was delightful in taste. We liked all dishes as each stands out by its own on its taste, presentation and preparation. Mutton was very soft and good in qunatity. Surely will like to visit again.

Its a wonderful place that is clean. Very presentable and great collection of savouries like chocolate croissants, rye bread, pastries and cheesecakes. Apple strudel is to die for. You can find all the gluten free goods which is a blessing as you cant find those things anywhere else in Chennai.

If the service has been provided much better, I would have gone with a five star rating. The service by the staffs should be improved. The food quality is good and the ambiance makes the place worth the pay for. You can spend quality time in here. This playlist is just amazing during evening time.

The ambience was good.. but not a classy one.. the food wasnt as great as I expected from previous reviews.. my spaghetti was too oily and the sauce was mushy.. the pizza was a little hard and too crispy.. the coriander fish was better than both..But the cafe had all varieties of cheese and cream which I would think a best stop for bakers or passionate home- cooks..

As of now, this places menu and specialities have gone down. They no longer have pizza pasta or tacos they used to have. They have only burgers and French fries and while they are of good quality, the fact that they didnt even bother to mention while we called and checked up that they dont serve pizza and other of their specialities says something.In short, this cafés menu options have come down. This place used to be one of my favourite cafes. This is not only my opinion in truth. I saw many people besides myself who came in and asked about the pizzas and pastas only to be shockingly disappointed.For those of you coming here for Italian cuisine, DONT.

🙂 Awesome ambience - the setup is really good with an outdoor theatre and seating. There are indoor tables as well. The Iranian foods are good.🙁 The food comes really late - the staff are slow. The old dishes of tryst (burgers and pizzas) are probably not given great importance after Shiraz taken over. After management has changed, the food of tryst is not great.🐈special mention- cats roam around in the garden area and are really cute. They get their first option to sit on the sofas and chairs :)

This place was always on my list, since this place was kind of away from my vicinity I could not visit this place. Whenever we drive towards Mahabalipuram, we pass this cafe located at the Gatsby village. Me and my friends finally visited this place and the ambiance was so good. The price was slightly on the higher side but I cant complain much as the food was so good and the staff were too polite. Parking space is ample. The quote romance your taste buds is true here.

A different feel when one sees cats sleeping on the sofa / chair meant for humans - a smile will come on any cat lovers face. Aha!! What a place to be in. All the cats allow humans to stroke them.Food - a dream for non-veg lovers, not much choice for veg guys as we sadly found out. We had to settle with mushroom soup and veg lasagne. The other option was veg burger. We felt let down but the cats raised our spirits.The retail outlet had awesome collection of vinegar, sauces, pickles, cheese etc. We decided to come again for them.

Best beef Burger

The cheese cake is very average. I don’t know why the cheese cakes here are priced so high. I have had cheese cakes around different cities in India and this by far was the most disappointing keeping in mind the price and the taste off course.
