We tried one of the popular dishes - Mini ghee idli dipped in Sambar, idli was super soft and Sambar was spicy and super delicious. Pongal was average!

Lied about pricing. Waiter said 1dh charged 8 I still left a 2 tip. Hoped transparency was en vogue

Horrible at service, only visit the place for their sambhar. I dont understand why the restaurant cannot spend in increasing service and kitchen staff. Even at morning 8, idli and vada are not ready and hv to wait 30 min just to get our food and another 30 min to get coffee. And this has happened in multiple instance. I might not be coming any more to this branch, Al nahda is still better.

South indian vegetarian restaurant.We ordered mini thali and masala dosa.Mini thali was nice. Meals will be served on banana leaf.Masala dosa was amazing. It was best dosa ever I have tried.PS. When we entered restaurant, one stuff told us that No non vegetarian and did not let us seat. Because we are not indian. Yes, we are not vegitarian, but, just wanted to try vegitarian meals.Anyway totally we like this restaurant, thank you.

Literally this is restaurant is the only place where I found Vadacurry in Dubai served on Thur-Saturdays.Since I’m from South India feel home whenever we visit Vasanta bhavan as we find more tamil families visiting. Very polite staff and price of the dishes on menu are very pocket friendly. Must try dish is kuli paniyaram and onion chutney

Tiffins, meals, daily basis specials, tiffin combos and beverages are simply superb in taste and should have been more spicy on meals and the starters. Neatly maintenance and can eat peacefully.

Service worst in this branch. I used to go meena Bazar very good. But this branch service very bad. Food quantity is joke. Taste is good so better order for home delivery. Dine-in not recommend in this branch

Eponymous tamil restaurant. Typical seating arrangements. No fancy wares. Service is fluctuating in standard.I have taken sadya thali for onam and medu vada on other days. Both were good. Price is medium level. Medu vada at 8 dhs is just about okay. Excellent taste. Size is medium and slightly crunchy. Nice coconut sauces, 3 types.

A South Indian vegetarian restaurant in that part of karama, where you can get a parking 😊, the food is good, not spicey, thali is also adequate and cheap. The items are moderately priced. Try their idli and Vada with chutney, its good. Filter Coffee is ok but not great. The place is clean too and there is home delivery too. Service was horrible. Mini tiffin was served in 3 servings. after digesting idling, we were served dosa, 15mins later vada was served. To top it all, tea was served after following up for 20mins! Seems staff and management is not interested in running the restaurant; either restaurant about to close or staff not paid...

Very decent must try vegetarian indian restaurant. I say indian cos north indian dishes are equally good here. Rose milk one of the best in the city. I felt staff in karama branch could be more friendly, guy at billing counter was shouting at some vendor on phone with customer infront, not very professional. Food and ambiance good, family friendly. Highly recommended place, have been visiting almost 4yrs, no major food complaints. Weekend parking is a problem, plan accordingly, special dishes on specific days do absolute justice, must try. My friend is a big fan of mushroom masala here.

Have seen 2 waiters were continuously keeping the mask down to their jaw and even we asked them to keep the mask proper they didnt do it. 2 of those yellow shirt staff should be educated. One of the cream shift person also keeping the mask open and we have mentioned to him last month on same but he still not improved. Next time we will take photos and complain with Dubai Municipality..

Great place to eat if you need good South Indian budget food. Dosas and Meduwada I had was very satisfying.

Each of its branches stand out to bring out their speciality. My visit to their karama branch would urge me to visit them again for their Rava dosa without oil and slightly crispy. The chutneys served along are definitely tasty and much better than most similar kinds of restaurants from the southern part of India.If you are from southern states of India or familiar with the filter coffee concept, its a must have. Overall, a nice experience and light on your pockets.

Pongal and Ghee dosa was really good, however we felt it was under staffed, we did not get attention on time.

The restaurant seating area is average. The food menu is quite different depending on the time. Some of the food items you would assume would be available but default might not be at the time of visit so please check before going to the restaurant. Food taste is good. Dosas and vada : ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Service : ⭐ X X X XOne of the best dosas ever in UAE.. my only issue is with their service.. very slow and inaccurate. Their timings are 7am onwards as per thier board, however the staff only arrives at 7 and start the days kitchen3 prep. Customers will be served only from 7.30 - 7:45 onwards.We placed orders for dosas, puris and vadas and all came jumbled up and with half the items missing.. had to reorder and wait again for the right order and we did eat and pay for the wrong delivered items too, because they are delicious.I would still go back, I dont want their customer service, coz they dont have it , but they do have delicious Dosas... And Vadas... And puris... And filter coffee.....

My wife and I come here for meals very often. But every Friday we come here for breakfast at 7:15 am. The restaurant used to be open and we sat there till it was ready to serve. Today (28/06), there was a different manager. We reached there the same time, the doors were opened as usual, but the Manager asked us to come back after 15 mins. We told him we come here the same time every week and sit inside. And asked him to serve whenever they were ready. He told us we cannot sit inside and asked us to leave. Which we found very rude. Not sure if we wanna go back there again.

This is a vegetarian restaurant. Typical South Indian vegetarian food is available. Taste is okay and ambience is also okay. Seating capacity looks expandable if necessary. They have one extra room for either small parties or just in case of additional rush. Pricing of food items is really easy on pocket. Has public wash room also. If you are looking for South Indian vegetarian food, then give it a try. You wont be disappointed.

Never ask for door delivery from this restaurant. Either they forget to prepare the order or there deliver takes minimum 1 hour place just for a curd rice too. Inspite of having so much competition they dont bother about service. They lie to you when u call them up saying that the delivery person has left but in reality the order itself is not ready. Bad service. I used to recommend many people before. But now I will be forced to tell them not to order or visit this place.

Visited here for breakfast during the weekday . Had ghee roast dosa and filter coffee. The place wasn’t that crowded yet as it was pretty early . Service was quick. Ghee roast was crisp and the aroma of ghee was enticing . The chutneys were good but I loved the sambar the most . Filter coffee was excellent too . Started off my day with a refreshing and filling breakfast.

The South Indian food is quite good. It used to be a go to restaurant but not that frequent anymore. Home delivery is offered as well. If you’re in Karama and looking for a quick bite at a South Indian restaurant, it is quite a good choice.
