One of the best hotels in Chennai. This branch is in Mylapore. Authentic south indian dishes are being prepared here along with North Indian signature dishes. Sweets are also very delicious.
Good for choosy sitting with less crowd....moderated menu & reasonable taste...fine to go for a quick coffee catch up.
Ever dependable food. Well maintained vast dining area. Good service.
Went for team lunch. Service was below average. It took 20 minutes for them to serve meals, considering the fact that it was not crowded. Sweet lime juice was watery. Podi that was served for meal was not nice. I have had the same in the past but it was not the same. Quality of food is reduced and so is the taste.
Budget shop. But tea coffee is costly. Moderate price. Liquid soap dispenser nob is broken.
Today we bought vadacurry thro zomato from you. It was watery with few pieces of tomato and gram dhal boiled in hot water. Instead of selling such items you better close your hotel and send your cooks to a good hotel for learning. Please dont cheat the customer like this.
Very super hotel vasatha bhavan and price in high but OK this hotel tasty foods and friendly staff but female person name of.( kumari ) in the staff very friendly very very nice person 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀
Clean ambience friendly staff. Decent vegetarian place for solo or even with family.
HUGE place right in the heart of the most congested and crowded region on Chennai..Good clean interiors. Visited during dinner. So no crowd and no noise. The servers and attendees were courteous and polite. Will visit again.
Service was good and employees were friendly, food tastes good, value for money.
They served all old foods. I will not visit this hotel again. Worst experience.
Very costly. Its not worthy for the money we paid.
Worst food everr... we ordered through swiggy and we received rava dosa with rat poop... worst experience ever.... was like a nightmare , health ministry should take very serious action and evacuate the restaurant because after we saw the food i checked google reviews and most of the people were complaining about the food quality provided over there and i even saw someone posted they got stones on theyre masala dosa, this is really huge matter and has to be handled seriously... i have no idea how the chef dint notice a rats poop on the food and trying to kill someone with this poisonous food by selling it to them, i have no idea why they choose cooking to play with peoples lifes... we pay our hard earned money to these kind of restaurants for what ??? to die ??
One of the good place for dining at Mylapore....New management had reviews the place and made it different from the old amenities....Now the taste ...of food have improved than before.....love those South Indian varieties..like Dosai, Idli, Vadai....Lunch is also good and wholesome..They provide parcels/Take away....Separate low level wash basin for kids
We ordered1.Rava dosaiThe batter was not fermented batter it was fresh one .The dosai tasted different and one of the chutney went bad but the coconut chutney was good.2.Cheese naanIt has traces of cheese and it was more of a plain Naan than cheese naan.3.Baby corn Manchurian gravy.Best dish among what I had in the restaurant. The spices were well blended and baby corn was perfectly fried to match the gravy taste.
Should improve the quality of food . Now it is very normal
Good coffee. Okay staffs. Clean good interiors.I liked the ambience and enjoyed the 15 minutes we spent. There was a delay in getting just the coffee alone, to me it was okay, but my friends were irritated.Pros:Prominent in mylaporeNice interiorsGood pitstop after Ramakrishnamath mattHave good coffee.I got to charge my phone here tooCons:Delayed response
They deserve my ONE STAR because,They doesnt treat the people who love North Indian food as humansYou see... Ive ordered a PANEER TIKKA ,KULCHA , SOUPThey gave tomatoe soup at first➡ tastes okayMy relatives got their food and they even finishedAnd started eating icecreamIt was 45mins from our orderStill my PANEER TIKKA, KULCHA have never came to my table....I was sooooooooooooo hungrySo that Ive started eating food sharing my relatives .....Theyre doing well but do have a quick service for every cusinesEven I lost my patience.....You f**kers..
As always, very genuine, clean and tasty. 🙏🙏🙏
Taste s good and served hot.
Big sitting area, but staffs were less on that day..takes more time for food to come in table. Taste is not bad.
Superb restaurant. Good cooking, safety standards, and service of manigandan. Swarna mam and Ravi sir super home make feel. I appreciate HK KST manager Mr. Vinoth for maintaining hygiene standards throughout. Well done team. Great!!!-Kogul
The restaurant in Mylapore used to be good two years ago but now it looks bad due to lack of maintenance.About the food, I went for lunch with a friend and had the misfortune of sitting at a table close to the kitchen. From my side I could look into a part of the kitchen and was shocked to see a cook licking his finger after dipping it into the kadai making some gravy. Another cook used his bare hands to take cooked rice and throw it in to the wok making fried rice. . Also service was slow and poor.i will.surely.not visit again.
Very good environment and very reasonable pricing
A very good neat and clean restaurant
Waste of time as there is no waiters in this restaurant and the waiters are taking orders after 30 mins
Good food and clean premises.
Mini tiffin is a must try one over here
I keep coming here everytime I visit kabaleeswarar temple. This restaurant gives you healthy tulsi water for drinking. Do visit here.
Worst experience. Dosa batter is not good. Unlike roast ghee roast is very thick. Taste is not good. Totally worst food.
An experienced customer service strategy can make this place a five star. Some staff look inexperienced and are lethargic and the experienced ones doesn’t seem to guide the little ones eitherThe food was good and the ambience seems to be good tooRest rooms can have more ventilationKeep up the good work
The best place in all of Chennai for authentic Udupi and Tamil tiffin
Tasty and hygienic food. Good service.
Beautiful ambience ,tasty food, clean ,very hygienic, good service, courteous staff gives a memorable experience
I like the restaurant very good food excellent service amazing hotel
Super .excellent welcome and good service .dishes very tasty not too much spicy.
Average quality of food items.
Good vegetarian hotel at centre of Mylapore. Parking is available.
Worst behaviour staffs ..Give a briefing to them
Pulav rice need to cook somemore..but add salt to all the dishes
Very nice... Food is tasty and good
Taste is good and I enjoyed
Mylapore namma veedu vasantha bhavan is really good and we get value for money
Nice ambience. Tasty food
A nice veg restaurant in Mylapore!
Muthu from admin team support us on arrangment.. it was well maintained and clean.. hotel staffs were neat and wearing mask... We dont find the risk of Covid...
Bit expensive but very good service and ambience
Excellent food.
Good place to dine in the midst of temple surrounding area.
Not so clean inspite of covid pandemic condition that prevails now
Authentic style will attract more than food
All time favourite
Good food 😋and good ambience..
Very very very costly even coffee. Not worth to visit
Not too crowded.Meals is good and taste.
Catering for my daughters wedding..was done by then today..during a covid times and gave excellent service and support. Thanking the staff, mahagement whole heartedly. Regards. Subramani D
Worth the price . They offer Zomato gold discounts. Quality of the food is also amazing . Service is too good. You can visit with your family for a good meal
Good service
Taste of food deteriorated. It requires drastic improvement. Maintenance is good. Servers/stewards are well behaved though. There is a better scope for improving the quality/taste of food as there is no dearth for customers.
Atmosphere and interior of AC dining is good.
Very poor service and lousy food.
Very good service.No waiting ✔️✔️
Just a vegetarian restaurant in Chennai, nothing special
Food: Good quality & tasty.Service: Good & considerate.Price: Currently relatively cheapest restaurant in the locality.Infrastructure: Attractive.Maintenance: Neat & Good.Overall: Food and service are worth the price.Other comments: They have tulsi in each jug of water. I really appreciate it. Its important in the summer when we are much prone to water-borne diseases.
My favorite spot for dinner. Always treats customer well and easy to access. Food really good and less crowded spot.
Poor toilet. Not sanitary one. Plumbing work need to done & toilet to be cleaned properly. Overall poor maintenance.
Tried only South Indian, nice preparations and service
I visit this place very often.... Nice place... Relaxing... Has enough space around... Family oriented... Great value for money and good taste...
Bad! With the interiors and huge dining hall they create an image as if they are very good at everything, but, they dont even have the skill of serving a good tea, I dont want to say about other things. Please train your people in hospitality, cleanliness! Employ skilled, experienced, educated employees!
The quality of the food was undoubtedly good. The service was very poor. We had been waiting for atleast half an hour for someone to come and take the order. The waiter denied almost all the menus that we asked for. The waiting time was more despite the restaurant being less crowded.
Not much options on the menu. Not much available even from the menu. Slow service
Not tasty food. Even sambar
Poor standard..too spicy and chilly side dishes.Rice they serve is always half boiled and mixed with soda salt which would harm our tummy!needs lot of improvement folks!
Used to be a well managed vegetarian restaurant. Drastic reduction in staff strength seems to have affected service. After taking a seat, you have to wait long for the arrival of a steward or server. Food is still good, though.
Sevice remindable
Good food vegetarian varieties.
Items to try: Morning breakfast combo, Podi Idly, Plain Idly, Rose milk, Curd Vadai, Paneer Tikka, Baby corn manchurian.
Nearly pocket friendly. Presently redesigned seating arrangements which looks good. Fine drinking water with Tulsi leaves dipped. Appreciable.
Service is great ! This is a restaurant where you can have food in a relaxed way . Ambience is better compared to the budget . The size of serving for mini tiffin is higher and satisfying
Good taste but the variety of food is less
Decent hotel
Fantastic south Indian restaurant, very satisfied with food quality and service, Mr Velu is a fine gentleman, attended us very well..Overall very comfortable and great experience
South Indian Vegetarian Restaurant offering meals and Tiffin. Food taste is moderate and price is reasonable. Not seeing much crowd. Take away and dine in available. Two wheeler parking available.
Authentic taste of tamil nadu.Had gone to the hotel by chance. Truly mesmerized with the food ambience and courtesy.Pros1. Well mannered hosts, the boys are well trained to cater to different customer behaviours.2. Quality food for reasonable price. I tried Paper roast (IT IS HUGE!) . ask for yellow chutney , variety taste.3. Ambience : peaceful , calm and hygiene. One has to pay for that.Cons( only to make review balanced)1. Bit difficult to locate2. No parking space. If you are in Chennai , please try this place you wont regret.
