If you are looking for something elegant and eye catching then, this is your one stop shop! They have so many options and can customise for your needs. It was my first shopping a lengha online, so I wasnt sure what to expect. However, everything took place smoothly and I have finally received my beautiful lengha via post today and feeling so lucky to have got my engagement outfit from Studio 149.Customer service: 10/10The staff are honestly so lovely. They are quick to respond on txt and will set up times to stay in touch with you and sort everything out. I couldnt shop live in Chennai so, Preetham ( Designer at Studio 149) got in touch with me on WhatsApp and helped me throughout the whole process. She is amazing and really understands your needs. She got my measurements on video call and started the process. The fit of my lengha is PERFECTTT !Outfit quality: 10/10Photos dont do justice you guyssss ! The quality is ELIT. Not even kidding here ! I felt like a real princess wearing the outfit. The work is so damn gorgeous on the blouse, skirt and duppata ❤️Delivery: 10/10I had told Studio 149 I wanted it before my engagement date and YES THEY SURE DID ! Great place to shop, amazing designs but I’m rating it 3 star as the dresses are very over priced and I feel it’s only for the rich. They don’t have products for people who are mid-class and look for affordable, quality products.I’m just disappointed with that but otherwise they are good.

Studio 149 is one of the best Ive found in town. I had got my wedding blouses stitched from them and my wedding lehenga was also bought from there. They have the a good sense of styling and have very unique designs. Bhuvana and sneha were pretty helpful in the whole process. They may be on the expensive side but its worth the class and quality.

The dress I bought from them was beautiful!! The design and stitching was perfect! Amazing workmanship, very responsive and prompt delivery! Loved my outfit and would definitely recommend their collection for a grand occasion!

When I contacted them for checking if they give out Lehenga on rental, they said they dont (which I understood). I said I have a wedding planned this year and my budget was ₹20K. They said we dont RENT without letting me finish and said they dont do clothes in that budget as well. My experience with interacting with their customer support was pathetic and I believe they should be more open to hearing out customers before actually just outrightly saying no. I told them that they should learn how to deal with customers and stopped interacting further with the brand. My overall experience with them was bad and would not make any purchases from this store.

Overrated place with staff who are way in above their head! A designer shop which told us outright that they dont customise clothes! We walked into the store with high expectations and were put off by the haughty and elitist staff who refused to come anywhere near us to help, and when they did, it was to suggest rather rudely that the collection may not be for us (owing to the price range). We still managed to have a look around, and when we wanted to try on a dress, they told us that their near empty shop was too busy to cater to us .All said and done, we found other bridal stores in Chennai much more warm and welcoming and I daresay, having better collections.Go to this shop if you fall within their elitist definitions, or stay away. All that glitters isnt gold.Edit for the owners benefit: It was rather unintelligent and crass to assume that we came into your store not knowing what you offer! The issue wasnt the price range at all, it was your staffs assumption that we were window shopping when we were set to finalize a wedding dress. Having traveled miles just to check out your store, it was a harrowing experience for us; and hopefully given that our reviews did affect you so deeply, maybe you can work on the rude and disinterested customer service!As for you not having any floor staff, I highly doubt it was a designer who told me that you dont customise outfits!We came to your store looking for a luxury bridal experience. What we got left a bad taste in our mouth.Please do not kid yourselves that the budget was the issue. I had specifically told your staff the same patiently. We arent looking for an apology, this is a review more than anything else. What you all wish to draw from it is upto you!

The best place to get your unique designer outfit!The fit and the finishes are perfect and they make sure to get every detail right. Got my bridal blouses and a sangeet outfit custom made from Studio 149. I still get compliments for them when I reuse them and I loved the entire experience of designing my outfits with the team. They are a bit on the expensive side, but the designs and fit make up for it. They also helped me style my entire look in terms of hair, makeup and accessories.Would definitely be going back for more.

Despite spending so much time in alteration and repeated visits, they were still unable to deliver the basic requirements of a customer.How is okay to convince a customer that an ill fitting clothing is fine since it’s better than earlier when all that was done was exactly opposite of what was required?!Had high hopes but disappointed & fooled by social media posts.Such a waste of time, money and energy !!!Don’t burn a hole in your pocket going here as I don’t think they would mend that well too

Good place to customize ethnic wear for your big day. Lot to choose from. The place for Lehngas- a long ankle length skirt with tight fit at the waist worn by Indian women during ceremonies. Little pricey.

Im someone who likes to wear plain blouses for my sarees but when it came to my engagement blouses my mom pushed me to get some stone or zardosi work done on them. I was a little hesitant on doing that but vaishali convinced me and I trusted her. After weeks when I went back to try on my blouses.. they were perfect.. I never thought I would like a blouse with so much work on it.. but I just love them.. the fit was perfect.. and when I wanted some minor alterations they did them right away.. Im beyond satisfied by both their work and service.. Im a regular client now 😊😊

Got pavadai sattai and a dress stitched for my 9month old baby girl from studio 149, and trust me I haven’t made a better decision to get my baby’s first clothes done from. I always loved their work and I believe they have come a long way starting from having friends and family community to catering to larger audience now. I feel they are very personalized boutique to each to its own. They dont imitate deepika padukone wedding look for you,but definitely will make feel like princess on your big day. I personally have known and designed my wedding reception gown from the very talented designer Swathi and still get compliments for it! I feel the service is very well catered and the work is impeccable. My yes for the studio and designer.

PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS STUDIO 149..WORST WORST WORST WORST WORST SERVICEIts Its same standard as the local tailors cos they keep local tailors n no experience designers to do the work....The so called designers are INTERNS who are trying to get experience through customer clothes...They actually use cheap and basic quality linings n velvet can can materials but they charge the price for the rich quality materials...for example. If 1 metre is Rs.500 they charge you 2000 rs for sourcing....

Worst customer service. Not only did they screw the fitting of all three of my bridal blouses , the owner was so arrogant and rude.. she gave so much attitude.. not the kind of service you expect for the money you pay there. Had to try on each blouse at least 10times till the final alteration was made. Horrible experience.
