I have stayed here alone for 6 day in a non-a/c room in Oct 2021.This place is really good, room is neat & clean.Housekeeping do cleaning both room and bathroom daily.Service are awesome.People stay here safely.Staffs are courteous.Price between 800- 1200.Bit mosquitoes are there but they providing liquidator.

Had a nice stay here! Came from kerala for visa application, Staffs were really friendly and understanding🥰. Very much close to VFS chennai..

Good for short stays with group of friends. Wi-Fi available but it is difficult and non-dependable to access it in the room (based on my experience). Theres a small television in the room with plenty of accessible channels. The room is kept clean. The service is good. The staff are polite. The price is fine.There is a supermarket within a few metres of the hotel. The price is okay for the facilities.P.S.: There is a restaurant at the bottom. But I wouldnt recommend eating from there. The place is unreasonably pricy with poor facilities that doesnt match the price.

Its a good place to stay at reasonable price. hotel is not posh but kept clean. Room is okay, has hot and cold water supply. Air con doesnt work, if there is power cut. i stayed in double ac room.

Sad that they dont offer free wifi.

If you have work at western part of Chennai, this is an ideal place. Well connected by buses, Both Central, Egmore and koyambedu stations can be reached in 15 minutes time. lot of temples around, good South Indian food to suit all kind of budget available all around. Rooms will certainly serve your purpose if you are someone who is looking for decent stay with no big expectations.

Value for money. Staff is quick and courteous. Location is good for any shopping around that area.

Its in a convenient location... but I find the quality of service is gone from bad to worse. As a person who have been visiting the hotel since 1990s. They have a very friendly and proactive attitude towards the customers. I am removing some of my comments as the issues were discussed with the owners and I now have a clearer picture of the events that took place. I appreciate the positive response from the owner today 14 July 2018. Thank you and my apologies to any inconvenience caused.

Its a good place for stay in the busy purasawalkam area. The chain of hotels of Saravana Bhavan is in the same compound which is an added advantage. Rooms are clean and tidy.

This review is for Hotel Saravana Bhavan that is present below Sakthipriya hotel.. wondering where did the standard set by Saravana Bhavan in all these years went?? My parents felt disappointed upon seeing their famous food taste missing.. though the number of ppl pouring in is the same, the regular visitors will rate even lesser than 3*

Great staff helpful ... Location is good most off the good hospital are near less than 150rupees you can go .Plx use UBER application for rent your taxi 🚘 .. ground floor VEG restaurant nice food .. NON VEG food restaurant are also near by .. AC non AC avalavail room are quite big.. clean toilet ..TV ,WIFI, 24hr electricity ... Best thing is SAFE and affordable PRICE.... Neat and clean, cheap rates. For Rs 800 for a non AC double room, its worth the money. Even have a LCD TV . Google map shows different. This hotel is located above saravavana bhavan.

Its an old hotel, rooms are average, its next to a main road which disturbs a lot to have good sleep.
