I went for a hair cut and had a terrible experience. I went for a hair styling and the hair dresser suggested layer cut. Eventhough i mentioned and multiple times not to cut the hair short I hardly have any hair left. From waist length hair I have ended up with hair at shoulder length. It took my two years to grow my hair to this length. Heavily disappointed. Do not recommend this to anyone.

This is one of the best family saloon in Porur. Its located in Madhanandhapuram to Mugalivakkam road near pazhamuthir cholai. Its in a prime location with enough parking facilities. Also you can book an appointment here before visiting so you need not waste your time by waiting for your turn. They took excellent measures during Covid times to keep their customers safe. The entire place is very hygienic and the staffs are very friendly.

Even during these times my family feels safe to visit this salon because of the cleanliness and the precautions they take. Great staff with very good service

Am also having membership card of your salon but even after using membership card the price is too high for eg , Beard trimming is charged around INR.110 for membership person . For beard trimming its too high

Firstly it is too costly. Second thing , they dont inform any details before ,and after service when we ask they tell or else only during billing u ll get to know.I jus had a basic U hair cut and I informed not to wash hair as I did already. While billing, hair wash with conditioner is included and when I asked the lady , she just said whatever the type of hair cut it is the same price and shampoo/ conditioner is complimentary . Why is there no proper explanation by staffs before starting a service ? It is their duty to inform even if particular service is not taken it will be included.Before taking a service customers should ask themselves clearly all the details here in this parlour .We just wasted money here . Service is average !

Service is very bad. I had asked for a different haircut and they completely spoilt my look. Moreover, the stylist was defending that he cut it right! Ive been going there for a year and it seemed like a good place. But after lockdown this is the first time I went there and I was totally disappointed. Never go there for a haircut!

Yesterday (13/12/2019) I went we to this parlour for Haircut.But once I reached home I got little head ache. I thought it would become normal. But I realized an injury in my head. The hairdresser used one comb during hair dry .At the time i got little pain .very bad service Shear Genius. Can you return my money ?very worst.....

The ambience is good. The staffs are professional and deferential. They do a really good service. You can avail a membership card which is valid for a year.

I was shear genius customer from more than 3years. But in this saloon i was going from past 1yr. Previously there behaviour and service was nice, but on 8 sept,19 i went with my friend for beard trimming. We used same guy(name as Rehan) from last time. He was keep saying grow your bead so he will make v cut and on that day beard was big as he demanded. Instead of v shape he made french cut and even he cut the beard size also. What the hell? i told that this is not v shape and even from last 2 times why you said to grow your beard if you wanted to make short. After that he started arguments with us. I said dont talk rudely otherwise i will inform to receptionist. After that he told do whatever you want i dont afraid with any one. After that we informed to receptionist (ladies), even that also the man(Rehan) didnt said a single sorry also. After that i took the bill and asked to wrote his name. Then i directly email to owner of Shear saloon (Mr Anurag). After that he didnt replied my email but he contacted this branch. Then the man(Rehan) started speaking sorryy and giving worst excuse regarding his family and their branch owner also said sorry after 2 day.Dear shear Genius, we are paying for your service so we can expect atleast a good behaviour from your side. Even I had membership card also, now it is wasted..Dont hired any un professional person like him or hire 4-5 more like him then no one will come to your saloon.Try to respect your customer, because customer feedback will affect your business.Keep you ego and customer will never come back.(worst service,very poor service, very bad behaviour, arrogant)

Fantastic stylists. You show them what you need or explain what you need and they stick to it perfectly to the T. I availed hair styling, pedicure and massage services. I make sure I visit them and make best use of them every time I go to India.
