Food was great and efficient..one plate briyani itself enough for 2 people..vast quantity of food that we cant able to finish it.. Nice ambience and dining..had so much fun..went with 6people and had a bill around 1300.. A perfect place for giving birthday treat...

Only the issue was with reservation for seats if you are planning along with friends /family seats are given quickly if you are couple 2 person it will be delayed more restaurant have to take this consideration for couples

Simply the best biriyani in chennai , hands down , the portion size is huge and could be shared by 2 easily, in my case 3 of us shared it with a chicken 65.

Recently started, It was good during first few months.Enjoyed bucket briyani and the bread halwa.Now the price is gone up and quality and taste is changed during weekdays. It reached a stage where you get dizziness and stomach aches next day morning after eating Briyani and grilled chicken.

The food quality was excellent. The billing guy was quite lethargic when I went to enquire about the quantity requirement. Only when I mentioned that the bulk order will be placed he started to show interest in considering my order which didnt give a good impression as this is the first time I visited the hotel.

I went for take away and its one of fast functioning kitchen with best service. Mini bucket Briyani is excellent with right amount of spices in the briyani, it comes with 6 pieces of chicken 65, 5 boiled eggs, raita and bread halwa. Must try Briyani in Chennai.

Today food taste is ok. But taste is Not excellent (most of the time the taste will be good). Provided Fresh and got biriyani.Yeah I know ss restaurant provide only fresh and hot. Thats y we are coming. But last week I ordered bucket biryani (3000 rupees) through tomato for night dinner. The biryani is not hot. Then next 4 days stomach upset for all. That means its not fresh. So I am informing the customers to come directly to ss biryani restaurant for night dinner/ take parcel.Thank you

We use to go to Kodambakkam branch which is near to us,but hereafter saidapet new one launched, with good ambience ,so will be easy to walk and have Briyani at SS..!Always great💞 for briyani ..!

Liked the biriyani. Just like the other biriyanis, here it tasted good.. The one plus in here is that bucket biriyani with other complimentaries is good.. The bread halwa tasted superb awesome

Ordered 2 Buckets of Mutton briyani for lunch and they promised delivery by 1pm. Was continuously following up with Saidapet branch and no one had any clue on where the order was. Mr. John Britto owning the number present in website switched off his mobile post 2pm and we were clueless if the food would be delivered or not. Customer care was also unable to help on the status. Finally the delivery person called at 3.30 pm and by then we had already cooked our own food. Please do not rely on their delivery until you have the appetite to wait until evening for lunch.

Very good taste. Quantity of briyani in bucket is more than enough for the number of people they specify. Bucket biriyani for 8 to 9 people can accommodate atleast 12 members considering rice quantity for normal eaters.

Disappointed in food Taste and QualityToday I order for my friend birthday, we know the SS Hyderabad all over Chennai, I ate few outlets it was very nice, but today unfortunately it was very salty and Oil. We are disappointed with the today order from SS Hyderabad, Saidapet Outlet. I won’t review because of this today it will be not restaurants. I like this SS Hyderabad very much especially, Nungambakkam and Kodambakkam.

A great place to try Biryani in Chennai hands down. It is different from Hyderabadi , Mughlai , Malabar, Dindugal and Nawabi biryani. It is typical Tamilnadu Muslim style biryani and do I have to say anything more? I love their taste.The portion size is great(one biryani is more than sufficient for two moderate eaters), spice is just right, meat is tender and more importantly not oily. Service is quick and the pricing for the quality and quantity is highly reasonable. It will be great if they maintain the quality and consistency.

Best Biriyani in Chennai. Missing this biriyani in South Chennai. It would be nice if its near to Velachery or Keelkatalai. Had to go to Saidapet to buy. Distance is the only negative. Anyhow enjoyed it in Bakrid ✌️

Ordered for Chicken Standard Bucket Briyani.... Time slot was fixed on 02.06.2021 - 12.20 PM.... At the time of this complaint, around 6 PM.... the briyani is not yet delivered.... Upto 1.00 PM, they said that there was a delay because of lockdown delivery... After that, there is no response and respect for the customers... Useless fellows....

We got two chicken biryani from this place to home. The taste of biryani was good. They could have boiled the rice little bit more. The raitha also could have more thick curd. The highlight was brinjal thoku and the bread halwa.They both were awesome. Brinjal thoku was apt side dish and I really enjoyed. Chicken was pieces were also good. They are generous on rice quantity as well. Price is 210 which is reasonable. Over all, it was a good experience..
