It was good experience. The taste of snacks is good. Its a purr vegetarian dining restaurant cum sweet shop. Not a self serve, they will take order on table. Good part is - its clean and hygeinic.Little pricey as compared but its okay. Might have increased the prices recently. Anandam is one of the oldest restaurant in dehradun and it has maintained its reputation. However some dishes are very costly here. ie Pav bhaji and chole bhature are overpriced.They have a variety of dishes, service is also good, sitting arrangement is nice.Here you can get all kinds of food ie North indian,south indian, chinese and a lot more.In my view everything is fine but it is little overpricy.

Very hygienic (covid protocols strictly followed here) and tasty as usual. Though it can get a bit crowded here

Their quality has gone really down. This ghewar seems to be outsourced from cheap sweets, and they sell it for rs.770 per kg. Too sweet, I guess they used dalda which smells oily. Worst quality.

Great sweetshop. Has chain of shops in Doon. They have place where people can sit and eat. I would recommend to carry away rather than eat there.Samosas are real good.

Service takes time. The staff can be a little more considerate and sensitive about the conduct.not all but on our visit 1 of the staff members did cause confusion and misconduct.The food was also 2/5 on rating .The tea was good.

Clean and hygienic place. Most of the Indian sweets can be purchased from here. The price on the menu is on the higher side than most of the sweet shops in dehradun. But the quality of food is nice.

I had pav bhaji thereBut the bhaji didnt taste like bhaji it was tasting like as if it is a paneer Butter masala gravyVery poor service they dont even ask you for water you have to call them for the water.Not worth coming at Anandam.My bill was of 263 rupees for 2 pav bhajisRating i will give is 1 out of 5Never going back to Anandam.

Good variety of sweets . There is also a restaurant where you can find North Indian veg food , South Indian food , snacks etc . Food and sweets are good in taste. There is multiple branch of Anandan in city . One thing I dislike is Ive visited to buy sweets and when I visited their counter to make payment through digital payment app (UPI) they denied and ask for cash and card only . I didnt like the way counter person dealing with the customers , seems like arrogant in nature. Rest all was OK.

I belong to Lucknow and my taste buds are searching for the same taste while paying 163 INR but the chola bhatura here is one of the pathetic one . So I am not defaming the whole shop but chola bhatura is still not really worth. :(

Went there for their chole bhature. But the chole bhature we got were cold. My husband ordered himself a masala dosa and again sambhar was cold and so does the dosa..The food we got was good in taste but because it was cold , we couldnt enjoyed it. we were very disappointed with their services.

We, all the members of family like Anandam products- Sweets, Namkeens, Samosa, Kachori, Meals. All the items are delicious. Anandam staff is very polite and gentle.

I didnt get what I bought???I ordered, gulab jamun and kaju katliand the money was given in the same box but there were gulab jamun in the box and the gulab jamun wese testless...but why didnt give my kaju katli to me???😡😡😡😡😡

The staff was not wearing mask they were not wearing gloves and the hygiene in the restaurant was very bad but the rasmalai taste was good....

Pathetic services and horrible behaviour of the staff.Today I visited with my family & the waiter was taking 20 min to serving the chapatis when we asked them to improve your services their behaviour was just like to fight with us.I will never visit and not to suggest any decent family to visit.

I would surely give this place a two star based on the crowd control that they do during covid times.Its hell there during festive days.People are jumping on top of each other inside the shop, its absolutely overcrowded.To top it all , none of their own staff make use of face mask.... Yes they do wear facemasks on thier chin.Its a disgrace when we talk about covid appropriate behaviour. This is the same place where many staff members were infected during the second wave.So take caution while visiting the place.

Chat items are good.Like chole bhature , tikki, etc.But proper food like Shahi panner , mix veg etc. quality is average.

Its okay though the kind of sweets they serve are better available in Delhi, Meerut, Muzaffarnagar or Saharanpur. A bit pricey too. But looking at the other shops in town, for comparison, its not bad. Okay, overall .

It was a wonderful experience there. We were not so hungry thats why we tried their snacks. Oh boy they were one of the finest i have ever had in Dehradun. To start with we shared dahi bhalla which was not super cold and also was so damn flavorful. Then we tried something which i am forgetting it was equally good just as dahi bhalla. Then we tried the veg spring rolls. The spring rolls were very soft and were fried as per to my liking; less fried in oil. The service was great as it was not that busy at around lunch time. 5 stars for everything.

Not good... I used to visit here prior corona frequently, but post Corona quality of food is degraded below average and price are increased.

Took an hour to get food. Food was dry and not cooked well and also found hair in food. It was a busy night I get it, but worst service I have ever experienced. Its very disappointing due to the behaviour of staff mainly the store manager regarding the service of the food delivery.after making the complaint, store manager only said its due to crowd on weekends day. I think we are not at a lunger place and store management is totaly liable to give service to their costomers offering same quality of food and service. If they are not having enough staff they can restrict for entry of customer beyond their capacity. Its my last visit at Anandam Rajpur road oulet in Dehradun.i dont recommend anyone to visit also

This was my first visit at anandam and my experienc was pathetic ... Staff wasnt responding nicely.We ordered paneer tikka masala nd dal tadka which were not freshly made and below average in taste also... Manager was rude as well. Instead of accepting his mistakes and he started to argue and intiated the fight...

The food is good. Do try the chinese platter...its amazing.

I packed onion kachori and jalebis from Anandam. The jalebis were not fresh and onion kachoris does not even have onions inside. I have the first and worst experience with Anandam.

Anandam is an old name in dehradun. Its a family outlet with ample of seating space three floors and outdoor seating area, but then also there is waiting and long queues. Easily navigable and parking also available.The ambience is subtle. The staff is courteous and the service is quick.Kulfi falooda is must have.Overall the outlet is highly recommended. One could spend a good time with their family and friends there.

3 ½ stars technically. I Had butter dosa which was really nice so were the sambar and the chutneys. Had mix chat which were decent. But it was the masala chaach which wasnt upto paar. It was just too spicy for my liking!

Very good restaurant with nice family atmosphere.The food is very tasty and they also make very good chats and sweets. I recommend the aloo tikki chat dish and the Amritsar paratha or paneer paratha or chopsy.

Specialises in South Indian food, this place has something or the other for everyone.Divided into two floors, you get a humongous sweet shop on the ground floor and a restaurant at the top. I personally prefer trying new sweets instead of the restaurant. A must visit in Dehradun.

A very good vegetarian restaurant for family outing for evening snacks, sweets and for the food as well.

Yesterday was my first visit to Anandam. Guard checked the temperature and asked to sanitize the hands. Restaurant was clean and service was prompt. We ordered varieties from south Indian and Chinese and liked both. We also ordered chaach and that was not great but not bad either.Overall a nice experience with Anandam.

Food was really good...except imarti which was not crispy. Also bit expensive.

From sweet to spicy ,anandam has every flavour you could think of. The staff is kind. Rates are economical. Service is quick. Place is vety hygenic. I ate shahi samosa, dhokhla, chat and kachori. I recommend you you visit this place. Also, their chole bhature are very famous.

This is an excellent restaurant. Every item on the menu is cooked to perfection, at least the ones we ordered were, including the ones on the thali. The pricing is inexpensive. There is immense parking space right in front. The sweets are awesome. There are live counters for snacks. The ambience I would not say is not the best but more than suits the purpose. The behaviour of the servers are excellent. Additionally there are two ATMs in the same line of shops in case you need more money.

I am regular visitor but ma disappointed by the quality now.I bought malai ghewar which was burnt and tasted sour...I would ask the management not to compromise with the quality....we r paying extra for quality only ..
