The place is very important for IITian because we have to have sbi account here. Employees are of mixed behaviour some of them are slow , some of them are ignorant, some of them are rude but still some of them are ready to help. Place is clean , with a quite. ATM , cash deposit machine, passbook printing machine is just outside . You may have to wait a long depends on rush . Sitting place is available properly, no problem for old buddies. An uncle with big moustache is very humble . If you have any query just go to him . He will be in counter 6 most probably

SBI bank with all facilities in a good location like IIT Madras near to KV school and Post office.But the service is not so great like most of the SBIs esp staffs response.

As usual, crowded and not a great customer care service. But, token system here at least makes things go relatively smoother.

Worst customer service. If you cant go to bank directly and disturb them frequently, dont bother about getting any service. If you call them, they wont take it.

I have placed a request for a new debit card at least 7 times so far. I still have not received it and no one in the branch is helping.

Worst in Customer service. No one is taking responsibility to reply to customer. To get open a new account. they took us to come to bank for one whole week. Still they says server is having problem.Actually Customer is the client to bank. if they treat customer like this then who will come to this bank.SBI IS TAKING LOT OF BANK CHARGES FOR WITHDRAWAL AND DEPOSIT IF IT IS NON BANK WHERE NO BANK WILL DO.PL DONT USE SBI FOR BANKING. I SUGGEST TO CHOSE ANY OTHER BANK.

I really like the way SBI banks functions...it has well planned service desks and organised customer que always....almost all the SBI branches has this format and it is well maintained....super

Reasonably good service. Not the best. In spite of being a small branch, offers several services including foreign exchange and locker services. Their services to central government employees are more beneficial.

Well equipped and an advanced branch of SBI. Service is good and fast. Foreign exchange, Self-service and green banking is also there.

Possibly the worst service you can ever get from a bank. The staff is rude, aloof, impatient and most of them ignorant. IITM students are forced to have an account in this godforsaken place to receive their htta stipend. Pathetic!

Very poor response of staff. Even they take 10 days to activate a saving account after opening by a new student. No proper reply.

Why holiday on Saturday?

Very poor response. I gave the filled form for profile password 2 weeks back and still nothing done. And top of that, no one picks up the call or it is busy or they ask you to call half an hour later since someone or other isnt available

Worst bank ever.All staff are lazy and its a rarity to see them do their job properly.

Terrible procedures: To transfer a CIF number to this branch requires one to go to the home branch. Just because of this, Im unable to update my phone number and address. Heck, if you forget your profile password for net-banking, you need to go to the home branch. In an age of digital transactions and simplified procedures, SBI is having rather inconvenient and possibly outdated ones.
