Visited my go-to restaurant for Dine-in after a pretty loooong time. It didnt disappoint. Food was served fast. Everything was as it should be. The portions in each serving is more than enough for two. Tried Crab🦀 Tawa Fry for the first time here....Really loved it 👌. P.S it has a very strong crab flavour so some may not like it.

I tasted a delicious seafood dishes here. The seafood in the photos had many unusual fishes are new experience. The fish fingers are the best while Some fishes are tasteless and are watery. Please consider that

This place was so good to have lunch nd dinner.. the taste of food was nice to have.. but one major issues is cost.. yeah the cost is very high.. it takes atleast 1k for 2 person.. otherwise it was chill.. they even allow to cut the cake for the birthday inside the restaurant.. it was a nice experience to do..

Taste was really good. Shawarma is a must try. Quantity is also good. We tried grilled chicken which was really really good.The staff also serves you very well and they are well behaved. Seating arrangements and overall interior of the restaurant is also good.

The place turned out to be better than what I expected. The best thing about this place is that there was ample amounts of spacing between the tables. The lighting was pretty good as well. The service was good but could have been better. The taste was great for the asking price and the order was served quickly.

Fantastic non veg food available here. Especially shawarma 5/5. BBQ chicken great, Kadai mutton superb, Briyani above average but boiled well. Overall 4 out of 5. Located near creams road nungambakkam.

Had a team lunch with a set menu today. Excellent service by the staff and very delicious food too. We had Lamb starters, kozi dejaj, tasty chicken curry with Nan and Zaitoon favaco to end with. Since we booked in advance we had a very good table arrangement done too.

Today we went to Zaitoon at Nungambakkam...Food was really good but while doing billing they are increasing the rate...Randomly we checked...and found that for every food item the rate was not what was given in the menu card.So when you go this restaurant...pls check the rate before paying the bill.

Good food but very crowded place. We had to wait for 30 mins on Saturday night and most of the dishes we ordered went out of stock. Was disappointed and had to settle for what they had. First time having a mediocre experience at zaitoon

Went there by 3 pm on Saturday. Thought it would be empty. But I was wrong. We had to wait there for more than 15 mins. The service was kinda slow. Not sure whether its because of the crowd but if you lack the patience , you wont feel like dining here. The food was as usual tasty. Their faloodas are the best in the desserts. Good for group lunches. They do have valet parking.

Waiting time was more than 20 mins.. Fish fingers and tawa finish were just average.. Nalli soup was good.. Not worth the wait and the price

Went to Zaitoon yesterday, definitely not a good experience. Probably this wasn’t a right time for us to try this restaurant we can feel some pretty aged ingredients. We had fish sizzler and the fish was old and definitely not a sea fish and the sauce was not just a gravy. Then chicken al faham that was so bad. Chicken was dry and not juicy and hummus tasted like chutney. Brownie sizzler is an ok dish, with brownie to be too hard. Definitely not worth the hype really disappointed.

Nice food... the shrimp was good ... desserts were good as well ... chicken was good too but could be bit spicy ... awesome taste for sure and the best thing is they provide child seats such that its easy to accomidate kids.

The food was pathetic. Soup was great. Biryani, Fish finger and Milk shake were a big let down.I love Zaitoon, but this time (11 July 2021), I was disappointed to the core. You cannot charge so much and provide a substandard meal.The standard on that particular day, is how you lose customers.

Loved this place. North Indian, Arabian, Chinese cuisine are available here. Staffs very friendly. Foods are delicious. Over all its a nice experience. Huge crowd after evening. So you may have to wait for seat.

Hotel taste and maintenance are super and cost are reasonable.

Food was good, decent ambience, staff was ok not very friendly. We were happy that they were serving all courses at 5pm unlike most restaurants in the vicinity only serving snacks. We ordered egg Noodles (good) chillies chicken (good) and American chopsuey (average, very sweet)

My personal favourite restaurant in Chennai is Zaitoon Velachery but didnt like the service in Nungambakkam branch.

Good food, less waiting time (weekday and covid times), cost is more but it is ok as the food taste is good and service was fast

Amazing Tandoori

Service needs to be improved, not much of varieties for vegetarians, and starters quantities are very less for the price paid. Very much delayed service of ice cream, not a good restaurant for vegetarians.

Nice Non Veg Restaurant. If you love fish try Tawa Fish. Chicken starter- Crispy chicken is favorite. Mutton dum biryani is so good. Veg noodles was okay. Chicken shawarma was ok. Ambience is good. Service was decent.

I never expected the cream of mushroom soup to be so sweet that even after adding a generous amount of pepper, the soup was still tasting sugary. The chicken lollipop was good and so was the BBQ chicken, which was a bit spicy. The boneless BBQ fish was good too except for the peanut sauce accompaniment which had too much oil floating. The chicken shawarma roll with kubus as its base wasnt worth the price as it was hardly half the size of an actual shawarma roll. Didnt try any main course or desserts as these items made me feel full.

Worst experience. Food photo is good, but taste not that great. Ordered a veg platter, it was sufficient for 5 people, but all half cooked food. 😭

Not as expected. Have ordered Mutton Sizzler, Biryani, Prawns, Mixed non veg fried rice and chilly chicken. Only fried rice tastes very good. Others I wont say it bad but not too good either. Disappointed a bit.

Recently visited to the place!!! Ambience and food tasted nice however a big time failure servers arent aware of the table orders moreover accompaniments going missing upon asking for a simple pickle it is being informed by one personnel that its not available wherein other one brings post meal.Secondly bills are charged for what you have ordered even though if it has been sent on table or not. I ordered for my parcel which never came and the bill was charged for highly disappointed.Note- please recheck for what you are paying.

We hang out more to this place with my colleagues . A perfect Arabic restaurant within nungambakkam. Highly recommended dishes are seafood platter and crispy lamb honey

Ordered some food from Zaitoon the other day. Really loved the the Chicken Shawarma roll and the Chicken Alfaham Dajaj. I also ordered Laham Tawa Roll but it had cucumber in it which felt weird inside a roll. All in all, the food tasted good and was satisfactory. Surely gonna order more from here.

Good place to have multi cuisine foods. Visited recently and tried jeera/ghee rice this time than my usual Arab dishes. It was awesome with bought curries. They have really proved on the taste once again not only on Arabic dos but also on continental.

Amazing chicken shawarma and Zaitoon special barbeque chicken. Food here always live up to my expectations. I once had Haleem here, it was a new dish but I loved it. Its a must try for mutton lovers. Id would love to try other dishes. Its located right on the main road, very easy to find. The ambiance is great and this could pass as a super hygienic place.

Good food at comparatively lower prices

It has one of the worst service. The waiters are so inexperienced. There is no one to greet you at the entrance when you enter the restaurant. Even after entering they just ignore you. You have to find a seat by yourself like as if you are going to Sangeetha or Saravana Bhavan. After you are seated, they still done come to serve you table. A staff was clearing the neighbouring table and he dropped an empty water bottle on the side of the table. He never came back to pick up the bottle.As for the food, I cant complain much but it wasnt that great.Will I go to Zaitoon again? Well, definitely NOT to the Nungambakkam branch. If the staff are trained so badly and they still charge you an arm and a leg for the food, why go there. I would rather go somewhere else.

Arabian swarma and many dishes to taste. Always crowded you have to wait on Saturday and sunday for table. A place where you can eat stomach full for the money you spent.
